Personality : Eunghwa isn't the nicest person around, but that doesn't mean people hate her. She's completely rough on the edges andis very arrogant, usually sayin shes the best or number one. She feels she must always win and has a slight problem with letting others compete with her. She can be nice to people she likes, and even laugh and joke around, but all and all she has a hard time trusting others. She doesn't like people to treat her like she's fragile and will blurt profanities and curse words at others. Although she is all that, she is actually very loud and hyper, never sleepy and always energetic. She likes to pay for her own things and doesn't like people calling her cute at all despite her form.

Eunghwa is quite shameless and doesn't avoid answering humiliating questions. She's very open about what she eats, how she excerises, if she watches (which she does), who she thinks is attractive in the industry (be it boy or girl), and who she has ual desires for. She's not very caught up on what people think of what she says, but she does care about looking good. She gets angry if she is not given the proper time to dress up or wear whatever she wants.

Background : Eunghwa was born in Rome, by a Koreaan-American father (Sung Andrew) and Korean-Italian mother (Sung Eunsol). Her father is a lawyer, which is where she gets her argumentive and serious demeanor from. Her mother is close-minded to things like homouality, music, entertainment, overweight people, etc. When her mother was 16, she was poor and only married Andrew because he came from a wealthy family. Andrew and Eunsol do not believe in love, so they expect Eunghwa to follow the same footsteps as her mother did. Although Eunghwa refused and pushed herself to become intelligent, graduating early of high school at the age of 16, and getting a scholarship at San Jose University in California.

Growing up, Eunghwa used to be a shy little girl, and would let others walk all over her and hurt her. She usually spent her time reading and learning knew words. But as she came into her teen years, she started to feel tired of it and immediately began hating everyone around her. Her hard exterior was then sculpted when her first boyfriend, also a popular boy at her school, cheated on her with her ex-best friend. Eunghwa then grew to hate popular, attractive, tall, or muscular guys. And because her boyfriend was quite pushy, always trying to have with her or touch her in ways she didn't like, she has a hard time with people touching her. She'll range from silently flinching away or begging for the person to stop.

Despite her parents wishes, Eunghwa found dance by mistake when she was four-years-old, walking into a classroom where somebody ws watching Michael Jackson. Th eonly thing she could remember from the video was his famous moonwalk until she was six, and vowed ever since the young age to dance just like him. Unfortunately, popping was very difficult for her small form, so to strengthen her rhythm she watched a lot of hip hop videos. Instead of going back to popping and breaking, she found her true love with hip hop dancing.

How did you become a trainee? Eunghwa had tried many times to audition when she moved to San Jose (scholarship-university), she'd drive nearly everyday to LA to audition. She didn't get accept for two years (16-years-old to 18-years-old). When she was turning 19 SM finlly accepted her and had her audition in Korea just twice and by the time she was 19 she was a trainee.
