“She’ll be okay, right?”
Evan looked towards the two males only metres away, his eyes gave only the slightest hint of the worry he felt as he tried to stay strong for the young girl he promised to protect. “I…” He hesitated, his usually sweet voice coming out as a whisper. “I don’t know. I really don’t know.  But right now, I have to make sure you’re okay.”
Cecilia struggled against the soft hold that the celestial boy had on her, only to back down to his caring gaze. “But Lumia!”
He shook his head once, knowing that, that was enough. “Ed and Alex will take care of Lumia. We’d only be getting in the way if we rushed over there now; neither of us is strong enough to help.”
Defeated after not much of a battle, the Lyrath sat on the floor and allowed the older to tend to gashes on her face she had not known she received.  Shades of blue blurred into each other as Evan focus on casting various healing spells. Latin words became no more than murmurs and Cecilia quickly became exhausted from the fumes of potions that the innocent Angel carried with him.
A sudden thought crossed her sleepy mind. She’d never witnessed death before. 

Actually I just thought; after Lumia's death, Cecilia, a eleven year old, is left alone with three older teenage boys. Yeah, that changed when Mink joins but. 
It's kind of the same with Jae too because at the start she's with two boys but later its three so.
Now that I think about it
why do I create so many female characters but somehow end up with one female main character and like, three male main character O_O
