Summary:

Oh Chae Min has always dream to be a professional composer. But in order to be a composer, she needs to learn the basics first. She enrolls to the most knows and talented performing school in South Korea, the Seoul Performing Arts. Came from a very poor family and struggling to stay strong to her abusive step-father, Chae Min tried her best to pass the scholarship test arranged by SPA. After begging her step-father for a couple of time, getting rejected to pass the school by the guards, meeting three guys who help her change the guards mind and let her take the test, Chae Min finally get to study to her dream school. New friends, new enemies, and composing songs. Chae Min's school year should be great...right?

Prologue:

"Appa, please let me take the Seoul Performing Arts' scholarship test...please?" I beg/ask desperately to my step-father who, in my point of view, is mean, cold hearted and abusive to us. He clench his teeth and balled his hand into a fist and look at me with cold, icy ices.

"For Pete's sake Chae Min! My answer is no and that is final! What will that stupid school to do us? To you? Nothing of course!" he yelled in bitter tone and I look down in the ground. Oh what a pretty bug, I thought as a bug passes in the tidy floor while he keep yelling at me. I sigh, finally walking away. How stupid of me to think that he'll say yes. The day he will finally say yes to me is the day he die. "Oh hey stupid step-father, feeling comfortable in that coffin? I'm guessing you are regretting all the things you've done to me, my mom and my brother are you now that I'm rich?" The girl me said in my mind as I picture myself talking to a dead step-father of mine.

"Yes." he will probably reply and I would've yelled.

Anyway, back to reality. I head back upstairs and open my bedroom door, revealing a very small bedroom. I walk over to my poster and lay my hand at the poster of my family. My real family I mean. The one with my father in it, my brother, my mom and me all smiling together. I sigh and went to my little balcony. I stare at the distance, taking a sit in the chair and wish for my dad.

"Appa mianhae. Mianhae. I'm sorry that I didn't try hard enough to protect mom and my brother from him." I said and I bit my lip. I have to stay strong. I have to pass the scholarship test if I want to get out from this living hell. I stand up and close the balcony door. I walk over to my cabinet and pulled up the flyer Seoul Performing Arts(SPA for short) had pasted everywhere in Seoul. I read it again and smile.

Seoul Performing Arts:

"Calling all music lovers and dreamers out there.

If you have ever dream to be an idol, actor/actress or composer

or even dream of attending to the most talented and known performing arts

school here in Seoul but never had the chance because of the school payment,

will I guess this is going to be your lucky year! SPA is now going to held a

scholarship test for you. All you have to do is bring your requirements that is needed.

After that, you head to the gym where it is all set for your test. The test is all about music

and industries. We will send a letter to those who pass the test and those who pass will

study the whole year and in the end of school year, you will become as what you want

to be. You will debut if you finish the school year for those who wants to be an idol,

actor or actresses and to those who wanted to be a composer, we will assign you

to the debuted idol and you will compose to them. The test will be in July 15, 2010.

Should be in the gym early in the morning. Test will take until 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.

Late arrivers will be prohibited and not allowed to take the test.

Make sure to be there on time.

After reading it again, I made up my mind to be in the scholarship test. I set aside the flyer and grab all the documents and requirements that is needed for the test. After setting all the requirements, I head back to my bed and lay down there. I can do this. I can do it. If I pass the test and become a famous composer, I can make my way up and my brother and mother will be happy again soon. I roll to my side and saw my music sheet in the top of the desk drawer. I have created a lot of music and notes and songs; all I need is lyrics made from the idols. I sigh, setting my alarm clock and finally closing my eyes, new determination and confidence in me.
