Dresses comfortably, too comfortably. In winter/fall, it’s usually sneakers, dancer pants or sweats, a boy’s too-big shirt and a hoodie. In summer/spring, she usually wears just a sports bra or a tank top with shorts and athletic sneakers, with a cap or a jacket over. She wears minimum jewelry: a cross necklace her grandfather gave to her and a crystal blue ear piercing just tucked in the upper outer fold (cartilage) of her left ear. She’s that girl who acts like she couldn’t care less about anything but her “duties”.  She looks like she would have no regrets. Not because she’s perfect, she clearly and obviously makes mistakes, but just because she’s so stubborn and she never shows a moment of hesitation or worry. She’s not really someone you would want to get close with. Although her words are respectful, her demeanor is constantly arrogant. She simply does her duty with great passion, never gets sidetracked, never spends the time to smile at someone or tell a joke, and then leaves last, only to be the first one back the next day. She’s not quite a workaholic, since she never comes on days when she isn’t required to, but there’s something very off-putting and slightly intimidating about her. She isn’t really charismatic, but she’s initially someone you would have no interest in becoming closer to.

Someone you hate/ Someone you love: Interestingly enough, in both cases, she ignores you. She really seems to act the same to everybody: does her one thing and quietly leaves. Of course, what is going on in her mind is completely different for each person.

Outside of the camera/ Alone:

First of all, she really loves her job and cannot imagine being anything but an idol. She had been fairly good at academics when she was younger, but she had never found one thing she really enjoyed doing, but once she found music, she wanted it so badly. Not only did she want to dance, sing, and rap, but she also wanted to compose, write lyrics, choreograph, model, act, learn instruments and languages, direct, and produce, among others. Thus, she finds it so easy to immerse herself into practice and has never complained not even once, about her training life. She sincerely loves music and finds determination, motivation, and focus to come to her naturally. And because she practices in this way, she really embraces performing and performs fearlessly and strongly.

In herself, she is confident. But when she begins to interact with other people is when the trouble starts.

For one, it’s easy to be a perfectionist on your own. In fact, it’s a desirable trait. But when you’re in a group, you become this nagging pessimist who doesn’t ever seem to completely trust anyone else but herself. This is why she’s such a brilliant artist, but she isn’t an easy person to become members with. She’s constantly analyzing, looking for problems, and thinking about the worst to come.

That leads to another defining trait of hers: over analytical. Jae Lyn’s the type that drives herself crazy for no reason. She has a tendency to overthink little problems into huge mountains. She guilt-trips herself often, even when no one else has noticed her mistake. If people are even a little bit rude to her, she thinks she’s done something wrong. If a boy she likes happens to greet another girl and accidently ignores her, she will go over the top with trying to compare herself to the other girl. She’s judgmental of herself and it can be annoying when she constantly looking down on herself.

Thus, although she may look confident when she does music, she honestly feels like she has no control over any other aspect of her life. Whenever she encounters a rival, she ignores them because she doesn’t like the stress and would rather pretend they didn’t exist. Of course she looks confident, but inside she is sweating and shaking. Whenever she encounters someone she really likes, especially of the opposite gender, she automatically stays as far away from them as possible, physically and emotionally. She’s hoping to hide and flaws while still looking confident. She’d rather have that person think of her as amazing from far away then become close to her and realize she has many flaws. She wishes she could be bubbly and happy, but doesn’t know how to be entertaining. In fact, she has a hard time even smiling in front of other people.

In short, she doesn’t approach anyone unless she is asked to. And once you met her, her over analytical nature makes her a strong person who is professional and dependable. She can be intimidating and haughty, stubborn and slow to take criticism on her side while giving out a lot of criticism. But she will try harder than she forces you to and whatever standard she holds you to, she will work without stopping to reach beyond that level. She takes responsibility. She’s easy to respect, hard to like. But when you try to bond with her, she shies away from you and becomes rather cold. Insecure and trying to stand out, Jae Lyn actually does a lot of things she regrets and when she is alone, she often groans and moans about turning away from her opportunities to become closer to people. She’ll sit in the middle of her bed, surrounded by her pillow-and-blanket fort, clutch her teddy bear, and just face palm herself some nights.

That childish part of her will lead her to watch Korean dramas and eat ice cream while muttering pathetically to herself. This is the childish, insecure, aegyo side of her no one has ever seen.

There is one last side to Jae Lyn, and that’s the side that can make her a good friend and a good lover- she’s romantic, loyal, and considerate, deep inside. She loves to take walks in the rain and write lyrics, loves to read novels, and has that girlish side to her that craves for best friends and a boyfriend. She wants to form relationships with people, and that’s why it’s hopeful she will mature into a more comfortable and fun person. She’s loyal in that because she rarely trusts people, when she does finally trust someone, it means that they have shown her their trustworthiness first, and she doesn’t hesitate to give them loyalty back. She’s a friend who honestly wants to be your friend to spend time with you and for no other reason (like connections) will she ever be your friend. That means she sticks up for you and remembers your birthday without expecting anything back. She just likes you, simply. And finally, she is considerate. She thinks too much about everything, and so she thinks a lot about her friends. What they like, what they don’t like… she learns to read people quickly and she never gives up on her friends. She thinks deeply about their actions and their thoughts even though they might disagree with her and she works her hardest to figure out their differences.

Biggest flaw: Overthinks the situation and herself unnecessarily. Can be rather blunt at times.

Biggest Quality: Dependable, loyal, and willing to work things out always. Also, she always has confidence in her music and to some extent, who she is. She just isn’t sure how she fits in with society.

When performing, y. Normally, classy, with an almost aristocratic feel. But of course, as every girl in the world does, she has her cute side, but it is extremely, extremely rare. Like finding a four-leaf clover. She has an eye-smile and a cute pout, but that’s pretty much it.

Neat or messy?

It’s an organized mess. Things have their general area, but they are never perfectly organized. For example, all of her books will be at the foot of her bed, stacked in high piles that look like they are just about to tip over. Her clean clothes are always in her closet and her dirty clothes are always in her hamper, but in both cases, they are rarely ever folded. Her desk is never quite empty; there is always a sheet of music laying or there or a few ink pens rolling around there.  But whenever she feels very stressed, she de-stresses by cleaning. Except she never makes her bed. She prefers the look of having messy blankets, tons of pillows and stuffed animals all over her bed. It makes her feel like her room is a warm home.

Down to earth to daydreaming?

She’s very in-the-moment when she needs to be, but she prefers to just daydream, sketch, doodle, wonder, and think. But of course, no one really sees this side of her because she only does this on her alone time. At work, she’s very focused.

Outgoing or shy?

Shy, shy, shy, shy, shy. Shy! I cannot express this enough. Like all people who seem cold or arrogant, she is just shy. It isn’t really that she doesn’t want to be outgoing. She likes to be by herself, sure, but when people ask her to come to a party or a dinner or hang out with them, she says no because for some reason, she wants to look busy, wants to be wanted. She likes to travel and eat delicious food and go shopping, but she’ll pretend like she doesn’t, hoping that someone will like her enough to drag her there even if she refuses.

Discreet. Too much so.

Plan ahead or go with the flow?

She doesn’t trust herself to go with the flow, unless it’s music (like feeling the crowd), so she usually plans like crazy.

Open minded or stuck on your position/stubborn?

She seems stubborn because that’s how she’s learned to stubborn, but truthfully, she is way too over analytical. The tiniest criticism makes her rethink her entire style or approach to something.

What makes you nervous?

The idea that she might never get to debut.

What make you sad?

The fact that her grandfather, who supported her the most and helped Jae Lyn to persuade her parents to allow her to pursue music, passed away before she even debuted.

What do you fear?

Liking someone. Whenever Jae Lyn realizes she likes someone, which has happened only twice in her life, she thinks to herself, “Oh, crap.”

How do you make yourself happy again?

If it’s just a minor issue, Jae Lyn will watch k-dramas, surround herself with blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, and ice cream.

If it’s a moderate issue, Jae Lyn will clean her room, shower, and then listen to music or try to compose music.

If it’s a serious issue, Jae Lyn will take a walk in the rain or at night. Sometimes, if she can’t figure out an answer, she will sleep outside instead of in her bed.

3. She’s a very light sleeper and it takes her a long time to fall asleep.

5. She has to hug something or somebody whenever she’s sleeping.

7. She blanks out when she hears criticism. She just doesn’t absorb it until a time when she’s alone.

9. She listens to music about 24/7, whether it’s through headphones or just playing on her CD player.

13. This is her weird one. She laughs when she’s in physical pain. When she stubs her toe or accidently bumps into something, she starts laughing.

1. Her favorite Korean dramas are tragedies so she can cry her feelings out and yell at the main characters for being stupid.

4. Her all-time favorite pastry is the Swedish princess cake.
5. Every year, she buys one pair of shoes and she never throws them out. At the end of the year, she always gets them signed by a person who means a lot to her. She has eight pairs of shoes now. [That’s why for fashion there was a picture of her dirty white shoes. Those were from when she was seventeen and her grandfather signed them for her.] [This also means she has very small feet that haven’t really grown for the past eight years.] 
6. She sleeps with: an electric heater, two comforters, three blankets, three pillows, four medium-sized stuffed animals, and a humongous, fluffy, light brown teddy bear.
7. She has a photographic memory. Gives her one minute to memorize a scene, a picture, or a page of notes and she can do it.
8. She also has synesthesia, which is where she sees color with music. Whenever she reads or composes music notes or lyrics, she often sees them in a color. Usually, the color depends on the pitch of the music. For example, the higher notes may be red while the lower notes are a more neutral gray.
9. She’s a terrible drinker who knocks out after three shots.
10. She was ranked 2^nd out of 550 for high school graduation.
11. She currently attends Seoul Art Academy, majoring in Composition.

· Been part of any scandal?

  No, ma’am!

· Do you have any tattoo? And is there any meaning to them?

Small black star on her lower left hip. She just thinks it’s cool to have a tattoo where only she knows where it is. For her, the only other person who should know about that tattoo is her future husband.

· What is your special talent?

A lot of times, people imitate voices and singing styles. Well, Jae Lyn imitates other artists’ dancing styles. That’s her specialty.

Another um…. “specialty” is that although her normal voice is quiet, she can yell louder than anybody else. It will seriously cause a microphone to malfunction.

· What is the thing you’re most proud of?

Her passion for music and her skills in art. She’s proud of how dedicated she is to it and she’s proud of how she doesn’t have to force herself to practice- she just wants to.

Her skills in art- she’s proud that she’s not just a singer/dancer, she’s also a lyricist, model, etc., etc.

· What is the thing you wish you hadn’t done? Basically, your biggest mistake.                      

Jae Lyn could have debuted earlier in SNSD, instead of Tiffany, but she refused to because she didn’t feel ready and she didn’t want to be in a group with nine girls. However, although she is debuting now, her grandfather, who is the one who persuaded her parents to allow her to become a musician, passed away before Jae Lyn could debut. He never got to see her perform on stage. Jae Lyn still doesn’t regret not being a part of SNSD, but she is extremely upset that her greed is the reason why her grandfather passed away without ever getting to see Jae Lyn perform on a real stage.

· What do you feel about sports?

Hates exercise, but absolutely loves sports. It’s her hobby.

· How do you feel about animals? Do you eat meat?

Doesn’t really like or dislike animals, except for dogs. She really likes dogs. She will never order meat herself, but if it’s there, she won’t complain and she’ll just quietly eat some.

· What was your dream when you were a child? Is it the same as today?

She didn’t really have a dream when she was a child. She was diligent and obedient, so she studied hard and she was very advanced at academics, but she never particularly liked it. It was when she experienced music for the first time, that even though she was not the best at it, she wanted to pursue it for the rest of her life.

· In the group, what personality suits you best and why? Father, mother, oldest brother, oldest sister, youngest brother, youngest sister.

The older sister. Very inflexible and a little intimidating, but works hard and is very responsible. Secretly romantic, but isn’t willing to let anyone know about her daydreaming. Private and although she pretends like everyone bothers her, in reality, she actually likes the attention.

· Are you more like fire or ice?

Ice because she’s not really one to do something on a certain whim. She calculates and analyzes coolly and distantly before she makes a decision.

· What is your favorite gift a fan sent you?

Well, she hasn’t received any yet. But her favorite would be another big stuffed animal. <3 Or a heartfelt letter with a poorly made friendship bracelet.

How I GREW UP

Family:

Mother: Jung Ji Eun. 48 years old. Sensible person who grew up very poor, but worked through school while working a ton of part-time jobs. Paid her own way and graduated through Seoul University. Kind person with a bright smile, but also blunt and does not take excuses.

Father. Jung Tae Kyung. 49 years old. An extremely considerate person who believes in creating a better world for the people around him. Grew up in a rich family, but uses his money to help create jobs for the homeless in his neighborhood. Intelligent, hard-working, but he doesn’t believe in performing arts/sports as anything more than a hobby. Doesn’t think that performing arts/sports can ever help anyone else so he would never approve of them as occupations.

Grandfather. Jung Ji Hyun. Passed away 88 years old. A quiet, calm, and respectful person who always smiled and never yelled or threw a temper. A very laid-back person who liked to spend his days by the ocean. In his time, he was an amazing prosecution attorney, but he preferred peace and quiet once he retired. He appreciates the arts and simply believes that people should live to be happy and do what makes them happy.

How I was raised:

Jae Lyn was raised by her parents in Daegu, South Korea. Both were very supportive and loving of Jae Lyn. They made sure she was never spoiled, but also made sure she always felt secure and proud of her own family. They established good manners and good habits in her, and Jae Lyn was a polite, studious, friendly, and intelligent girl growing up. Studying was important, but family came first.

Since family came first, when Jae Lyn’s grandfather, who lived in San Francisco, became sick, the entire Jung family moved to San Francisco to support him. In San Francisco, Jae Lyn experienced art for the first time. She first came upon a break-dancing street performance and then witnessed many guitarists, vocalists, drummers, rappers on the streets. Also, in San Francisco, unlike in Korea, at least two years of arts are required in school. Jae Lyn took beginning choir her freshman year and absolutely fell in love with it. She didn’t have the courage to tell her parents until sophomore year. Her parents were shocked and both were against it. Her father was against it because he thought it was selfish. If Jae Lyn was born in a privileged position, why would she waste it trying to perform instead of helping the people around her? Her mother was against it because Jae Lyn was already good at academics, why was she suddenly going to throw away all her efforts and suddenly pursue a career where it was almost guaranteed she would fail? Jae Lyn cried for weeks and refused to go to school, and finally, her grandfather sat down Jae Lyn’s parents and argued for Jae Lyn to pursue music. When her parents refused, her grandfather, despite being sick and retired, took what little money he personally had, and dragged his sick body downtown every week and paid for Jae Lyn’s private music lessons. When Jae Lyn’s parents realized what Jae Lyn’s grandfather was doing, they finally relented, afraid that Jae Lyn’s grandfather would become very ill.

Now: Even now, they cannot understand why Jae Lyn likes music, but because they realize that she really loves this, they support her as much as they can.

My superstar STORY

How did you become a part of Frost Entertainment:

When Jae Lyn was 17, she and her mother went to South Korea for winter vacation. While there, Jae Lyn secretly underwent the SM audition. She passed the first round, and she told her parents, who at that point, agreed to support her. She passed all five rounds, and became a trainee in Seoul, attending Seoul Arts high school. She was immediately put into SNSD, but she didn’t feel ready to debut, having only trained with SM for five months. So, she was pulled out of SNSD and Yoona was put in. Then, she was supposed to debut with f(x), but she became sick and had to pull out and Krystal was put in. Finally, SM gave up on her and  transferred to Frost Entertainment, along with all of the other remaining female SM trainees.

How were your trainee days?

Training for 6 years was brutal, especially towards the end. It was a time of tears and crying, depression and immense frustration.

The first two years were the easiest time. Jae Lyn liked being back in Korea and picked up music extremely quickly, rising quickly to the highest ranks of being a trainee. People had so many hopes for her and she was completely famous throughout the trainees. When she refused to debut in SNSD, still, no one was worried about her. But then her grandfather passed away and something was off in Jae Lyn.

Jae Lyn was demoted from her top trainee group because she had been there for “too long” and she wasn’t as “fresh” anymore, according to the evaluators. They said she had come to a standstill and wasn’t getting any better. Extremely nervous and depressed, Hae Jin threw herself into working harder and improved once more. Hae Jin was supposed to debut in f(x) instead of Krystal, but she had pushed herself so much she ended up in the hospital for overworking her body. The president pulled her out of the group last minute, saying she didn’t know how to balance herself and that if she couldn’t deal with stress, she should go home.

Jae Lyn was transferred to Frost Entertainment at age 20, in that broken state, her confidence completely shattered but her passion still intact. Unable to give up, but not believing in herself. She no longer believed she deserved success after what happened to her grandfather. MinSeok, the Spartan Coach, saw a little bit of himself in her, and firstly, debuted her as a model and as an actress because he knew she would be successful. She was, and it helped her to believe that she was still meant for success, regardless of what she had gone through. She re-started her training at Frost, properly developing her skills. At Frost, they didn’t just try to push her to debut, but actually focused on her needs. She continuously improved without end, shocking the staff members with her potential, for three years, until now, she does feel ready to debut.

1. BoA | 26 | Solo | Met while Jae Lyn was a trainee for SM. |Very responsible and straightforward person, who shares Jae Lyn’s unfading passion for music. They both don’t have much aegyo and don’t let anything get in the way of their love for music. Both are strong women who are driven. Also, their dancing styles are similar, so both of them used to train in dance together. They don’t need words- just one look at each other, and they can tell each other’s moods. And although BoA is not the most forgiving person, she would never let Jae Lyn slack up or give up on anything or anyone. Sometimes Jae Lyn feels like BoA is too quick to judge her and they’ve fought a lot before, but still, BoA has always continued to believe in her. BoA is the only person who knows about Jae Lyn’s grandfather. They still hang out, though of course, not as much as before. Both of them also really like sports.
2. Lee Jun Ki | 30 | Actor | Filmed the drama ‘Under One Sky’ together. |Extremely considerate and funny person. Although he is 30, he acts like he’s 20, always smiling and laughing. They seem like polar opposites at first, but in fact, they have the same likes and worries. Both overanalyze everything someone else tells them and are ultimate perfectionists. Both like pastries, Korean dramas, and collecting shoes. Jun Ki makes Jae Lyn laugh because he likes to see himself in Korean dramas and Jae Lyn how narcissistic that is. They have an oppa-dongsaeng relationship. They like to go shopping together or watch Korean dramas together.

Friends:

1. Tablo | 32 | Epik High | Jae Sung introduced them, thinking they would get along. | Love to just sit there and free-style with each other. Tablo is one of the least judgmental people you will ever meet and in front of him, Jae Lyn is able to be honest, open, and just enjoys doing music with him. Both are great lyricists who work well together. Often times, Tablo will being the line of a lyric and Jae Lyn will finish it for him. Tablo is slowly training Jae Lyn to drink alcohol and handle it well. XD He doesn’t want a guy to take advantage of her.
2. Ailee | 23 | Solo | Sang a duet for OST of ‘Under One Sky’ together. | Very cheerful, bubbly. Someone who gives without any thought of receiving something back. A little innocent for her age, maybe, but a phenomenal singer who’s always confident in herself. Often, Jae Lyn is jealous of how warm Ailee is and how easy it is for Ailee to be such a professional singer, but also an easily friendly person at the same time. Still, it’s nice because they both grew up in the United States. They often speak in English and eat out together and talk about boys, music, and clothing.
3. Myungsoo | 20 | Infinite | Met when they modeled together several times. | Initially, they started hanging out with the interest of dating, but now they’re just good friends who like to exercise, rehearse, practice. Usually, Myungsoo will complain about something and Jae Lyn will scold him. They have a definite noona-dongsaeng relationship. Myungsoo doesn’t know about Jae Lyn’s love of dramas and stuffed animals, but he suspects she’s much more girly than she admits. And whenever Myungsoo really had a hard time with something, she’s the one he will call.

Ex-Friends:

1. Kim Jaejoong | 27 | JYJ | Met while Jae Lyn was a trainee for SM. | Jaejoong really favored Jae Lyn when she was a trainee because she had that r & b, hip hop voice and not a “pop” voice. He trained her a bit. She looked up to him and of course, she really liked him, but she never had the courage to tell him. They were just friends, and honestly, while Jae Lyn saw him as a mentor/friend/crush, Jaejoong just thought of her as a talented hoobae and didn’t really have any emotional ties to her. He didn’t even know and probably wouldn’t have cared that she liked him. But then the lawsuit happened. Jae Lyn felt a little betrayed and very sad that she might never see him again, and they really haven’t seen each other since.

Rival(s):

Why did it come down to this?

Krystal- When Krystal took Jae Lyn’s spot for f(x), instead of just being humble about it, or even apologizing to Jae Lyn, Krystal publicly thanked Jae Lyn for messing up and for letting her have her spot. Obviously, Jae Lyn was not pleased. And when Jae Lyn was transferred to Frost, Krystal “smiled” at her and wished her “good luck”. In Krystal’s defense, she had been the top trainee before Jae Lyn came, so it must have felt good to beat Jae Lyn.

BoA- Best friends, but similar dance styles and similar taste in boys. Of course, maybe this rivalry is more one-sided, maybe it’s just Jae Lyn who sees it that way and BoA couldn’t care less because Jae Lyn isn’t even competition- yet. For Jae Lyn, it is a competition. Although they’re best friends, BoA is always the one giving advice and Jae Lyn is always receiving it. BoA is always the one tired from global performances and Jae Lyn is always tired from practicing inside her little training room. Jae Lyn always liked Jaejoong, and Jaejoong was best friends with BoA. Of course, on Jae Lyn’s side, there is some jealously. This rivalry will probably rise as Jae Lyn debuts.

When did the rivalry begin?

Both before Jae Lyn’s debut. Before Krystal’s debut and after BoA’s debut.

Relationship/How you act with the rival and how she/he acts with you?

Jae Lyn and Krystal aren’t looking for fights, but both are very proud and confident of their musical abilities and to some extent, arrogant about them. Jae Lyn thinks she’s much better than Krystal, but simply refused to debut yet and Krystal sees that all as an excuse. They usually ignore each other, but if they do meet each other, do not expect hugs and kisses. Except some shoving, a few mean words back and forth, glares, and bumping of shoulders. Of course on camera, they have to act nice, but behind the cameras, they really do not like each other.

With BoA, they’re obviously best friends, but secretly, they are motivated by each other to practice until it is perfect, especially with dance. Jae Lyn will never admit her jealously towards BoA and BoA will never admit that Jae Lyn’s skill makes her nervous, but they are somewhat rivals. But, like you said, in a good way. It makes them grow and respect each other.

Love interest: Jung Yunho | 26 | DBSK
He is always like: Jung Yunho is someone who always thinks of himself as a protector and despite being sensitive inside, he always hides his emotions and does what he thinks is right. Because of this, he finds it difficult to express his emotions and people who are close to him find him very cold when he is in a difficult situation. Still, he is respected and admired by all those around him because he always keeps his word and he takes responsibility for all of his actions. He isn’t afraid to sacrifice his desires for someone else. Extremely strong-headed and always acts before he thinks. The opposite of Jae Lyn in that sense. Passionate, throws his whole body, soul, and mind into whatever he is doing at the time. He loves sports and anything physical. Like a kid, he really gets into video games. Trusts his instincts more than his reasons. The negative side to his tendency to act first is that he often gets hurt physically, and he gets angry extremely easily. He has quite a temper.

Usually though, he is very playful with a lot of aegyo and always joking around.  He always tries to balance fun and work and thinks it’s unhealthy to be always focused and stressed about one thing. He can’t stand stingy people who are uptight about everything (cough* Jae Lyn cough*).

Another defining trait about him is that he is always honest, if someone makes a mistake, he will tell them straightforwardly. He takes the initiative because he always thinks of himself as a leader. He doesn’t understand people who overanalyze criticism (cough* Jae Lyn cough*). However, in return for his constant criticism, he holds himself up a very high standard. He never breaks a promise, forgets a birthday or an anniversary. No matter how sick he is, he will hide his sickness and practice until he drops and he never misses a concert if he can help it. As a leader, he stays strong and hides his emotions no matter what is going on around him. He feels the burden to always stay focused and keep everyone else on the ground at all times.

Overprotective, easily jealous, but is determined to work hard at music and relationships. When he’s sad or disappointed, he turns very cold and won’t talk to anyone no matter what. He’s very good at a poker face and very good at giving people the cold shoulder.

Why he is the best: How he can see past you when you say you don’t care or you don’t like stuffed animals or events… How you don’t have to hold back when you shout at him and get mad at him because he won’t either. How he says it’s okay to fail and loves you the same whether you have the best performance or don’t.

Our relationship is currently like: Close to strangers. Not exactly strangers, because both are close to BoA and were close to Jaejoong, but not even acquaintances. Have never even talked to each other. Actually, both would just prefer to avoid each other as seeing each other reminds them of Jaejoong and the other two members who

Later: You know how opposites attract? That’s exactly how they are. They always bicker and fight, whether in public or in private, but ultimately, because both of them are passionate, sensitive, all-out-for-the-person-they-like, willing to make it work, and simply cannot imagine seeing anyone else after meeting each other, they will make it work.

It’s the things that they don’t like about each other that make each other previous. For example, Jae Lyn has never missed a day from practice and her uptight personality bugs Yunho to no end, but when he’s sick, suddenly she’s there for him and she’s missing practice for the first time in her life.

Or how Yunho’s not the cleanest person in the world, and it bothers Jae Lyn, so he quietly starts to clean his room when he sees she’s in a bad mood.

What position do you wish for: Lead Dancer and Lead Vocalist.

Why would you be best in that position? Because her best asset is that she can sing steadily while dancing aggressively. She doesn’t have to focus on just one to excel in both simultaneously. In fact, dancing helps her to find the beat for singing.

What are you best at: Dancing popping, singing r & b/soul, modeling.

What are you worst at: She can’t really stand still and sing, she always has to tap something. She also has a hard time singing ‘pop’ songs that aren’t full of emotion if the beat is too fast or the song is too bubbly. She also has a good flow as a rapper, but her pronunciation is always off when she raps too quickly.

Regardless of the time or weather, make them go get another one for you. If it’s Swedish princess cake, get them in a headlock.

· A fan offered you an old and ugly teddy bear?

Love it, hug it, and ask why it’s such a grandfather bear (curious about the story behind the bear). Give the bear a careful bath and keep it.

· There was another trainee every member of the staff was praising and set as an example for you?

Act like it’s nothing but feel totally insecure. Practice after hours and secretly watch them. 

· The director of the company felt like you lacked talent and told you: “Why are you so bad at (insert thing your character has most talent in)?”

Answer straightforwardly. I’m not bad, watch me.

· Sang Jae Sung came and flirted with you? (Keep in mind that he is a member of FROST Ent. so you will most likely see him every day afterward.) What if he went and did the same thing with another girl?

Feel flustered and avoid him. Feel relieved if he did that to another girl because it means he’s not serious about me.

Feel overwhelmed. So happy because now Jae Lyn feels ready to be a part of the group. So excited to finally perform and get results comparable to BoA and f(x) and everyone else. So satisfied because all the hard work is finally paying off. But also extremely sad because her grandfather will never be able to watch her debut. And extremely nervous that she has to perform in a group where people may be much better or much worse than her. Nervous because she has to work with people and she’s not good with people.
