Background/History: Minjung was born in Singapore to a well-to-do family. Her parents had moved from Seoul to Singapore because of a long-term business project there and are hardly home because of work, hence she isn't very close to them. They don't talk much, but there isn't any strong conflict between them. Instead, her brother is her everything - brother, best friend, and so far her only long-time confidant. She isn't a tomboy, but because she hangs out a lot with her brother and his friends, and they treat her like a boy, like one of them. Sometimes, she wishes that they would treat her more like a girl, though. Minjung trusts him wholeheartedly as they grew up together, and she doesn't try to hide anything from her brother because he can see through her very quickly. Her brother is also very protective of her, and had begged their parents to move back to Korea after he had completed his education in Singapore because he didn't want his sister all alone in the country. He managed to get a job as a trainee idol manager at SM Entertainment as well, in the hope of always being there for Minjung.

Personality: Minjung is soft spoken and rather shy around strangers or acquaintances. Although not usually willing to step out of her comfort zone, she is considerably loud and fun-loving around her close friends, and is willing to try new things with them. She speaks her mind, but tries her best to be nice when putting across something unpleasant. She knows that she can be insensitive at times, but doesn't know how to change it. She is horrible at comforting people or cheering them up. She gets close to people easily, but only few stay as her friends for life. Once her trust in you is broken, it is extremely difficult to get back, unless you mean a lot to her.

She doesn't like people poking their noses into her affairs, unless you're close to her. She isn't the type to seek help when she runs into trouble. Instead, she will try to solve them on her own, but if someone she trusts notices it and shows her concern, she will open up to that person.

She is more comfortable around boys than girls, because she feels that it is easier to be herself around boys than girls. She isn't very good in sports, yet always relents when her guy friends ask her to play sports like soccer or basketball with them, because she ends up having a lot of fun if the guys she plays with aren't jerks.

How you met them: These six people really helped MInjung during her trainee days, from giving her advice to helping her to improve her singing and dancing, and are all sunbaes whom she really respects.

How you met them:

Minjung was always labeled as another 'Giant Baby' next to Sulli, and the two clicked because of it. Sulli also always hung around with Krystal, and Minjung enjoys having hurricane English conversations with Krystal while Sulli looks on in confusion. They also have a small , hence are able to connect to one another easily.

Minjung met Taemin at one of the dance mentoring sessions after JEWELS's debut was announced. Taemin was her mentor and after discovering they both had smiliar dance styles, the two of them often met up for practice.

How you met: Taemin always said that Minjung has a similar personality to Key, and one day Key got so curious so he tagged along with him to one of their extra practices. Because of their busy scedules, Key had never bothered much about his hoobaes, but after meeting Minjung, he tries his best to know their progress in the industry and Minjung feels like she had gained another older brother.

How long have you known him: She knows him as Key of SHINee for more than 4 years (since their debut), a sunbae for 3 years and a close friend since Taemin brought him along for practice.
