• Monkey Face: Her older brother, Joongki, calls her this...because her face looks like one according to him. (XD) 
• Husband/Jagiya: This nickname is a joke between her best guy friend, Zhang Yixing, and herself. He's her "wife" and she's his "husband". When Yixing calls her "Jagiya", some people can get misunderstandings and think that they are dating when they really aren't.
• Yo-Yo: Her very best friend, Jung Sora, calls her this. Before, it would be "Hyo-Hyo", but it eventually turned into "Yo-Yo" because Sora thought it rang out better.
• Miss Manager: This is used by her love interest (*wink* ...XD) He likes to use it in a teasing manner.

Personality ; Hyorin is a very balanced, orderly, and organized person. She has been told that she has a very powerful and competent side when she is granted authority. Her personality is very dominant. She's very friendly and fun loving, a bit unpredictable and care free, but can hold herself together, and she usually can get along with most everyone. She easily makes friends and can keep a conversation going on for a long time without making it awkward even if you just met her. Especially when managing the hotel, she tries her best not to rock the boat too much and she tries to make everyone feel as satisfied as they can. 

At times, she can be just a little bit of a procrastinator and irresponsible which usually makes her father a bit disappointed. She can also become a little stubborn and refuses to do what she doesn't want to do. According to her cousin when he was joking around, she's "a beautiful young lady out in the open, but an annoying little monkey face behind closed doors". Sure, she's not exactly one who agrees with others so easily. When in conflicts, she's very tenacious and doesn't ever give up even when the probability of succeeding is impossible. However, if she does lose the little argument, she simply takes a reluctant leave and carries on with life.

On another hand, Hyorin is a pretty nosy person. Well, she isn't exactly like that. She's more of a curious person who likes to "research intently" into other people's lives. It usually does them good, too. If there is a problem in their life, Hyorin will do whatever she can do in her power to make it alright. She's rather reckless and usually discards of herself and looks into other people more than she does for herself which can be both a good thing and a bad thing.

Background ; 

On November 11, 1993, Park Hyorin was born in Manchester, UK to a very well-off family. Both of her parents owned a hotel that they managed together in Manchester. Growing up, their life was over than just average. Hyorin's parents had established two new hotels, one in London and the other in Liverpool, to maintain their business chain when she had turned 5 years old. Then, they moved over to Birmingham, when Hyorin turned 10, and continued their life there, the parents occassionally making trips to Manchester, London, and Liverpool to help manage the other hotels. Recently, Hyorin's parents decided to open yet another hotel in Birmingham. This will make a total of 4 hotels in their chain.

When it came to school, she was rather popular with a lot of the students, especially those who are male. Hyorin was also one of the smartest or well, the smartest person in her school due to her intense study sessions. According to scores and stats, she was top student all through middle school and ended up as valedictorian when she graduated high school.

After graduating high school, she was bombarded with invitations from the University of Cambridge, Oxford University, and some universities landed in the US. She ended up studying in Cambridge. She still does currently attend that school and her studies are centered on music and medical sciences.

Trivia ; 

• Her blood type is B+ 
• Her favourite colours are black and indigo.
• She stands at 157 cm and weighs 44 kg.
• Before being dragged into the family business, she was looking into a music or medical sciences major.
• She's a huge fan of Awkward Octopus.
• If she could, she would marry Wesley Chan from Wong Fu Productions...but he's a tad bit too old for her and he is unknowing of her existance. (XD Oh gosh haha)
• She has an allergy to peanuts. If she does end up eating them, she goes through different stages of symptoms. First stage starts when she gets cramps. Then, in the next stage, she will start vomiting, and in the last stage, she'll have a difficulty to breathe. 
• Not many know this, but she needs to wear glasses, but she wears contacts instead.

Likes ; 

• Tea: It gives off a great aroma as well as a varying taste, and it's very enjoyable to drink. Tea time is the best time of the day for Hyorin.
• Gelato: It's very delicious and refreshing, and she likes it a whole lot better than ice cream.
• Rock/Heavy Metal Music: This is basically what she listens to the majority of the time. She finds this genre of music to be very interesting, and she usually does drum covers of them. Her personal favourite bands are Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, and Five Finger Death Punch. (x3)
• Video Games: Who doesn't like video games? They're absolutely fun and she doesn't mind acquiring some competitions and rivalries involving them. There are those times where has stayed up all night long just to play video games. Out of her broad collection, her favourites are Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, The Walking Dead, Corpse Party, and Ib.
• Books: She likes all genres of books, but she prefers the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre where her favourite books, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Battle Royale, are put under.
• Horror Movies: These supress the feeling of suspense and adrenaline. It excites the mind of Hyorin. Sometimes, she gets a little bit too into the movie that she starts smiling like a little creepy doll throughout the whole movie.
• Anime/Manga: The artwork is very nice and the storylines really add to it.

Dislikes ; 

• Waiting: She's not the most patient person out there. However, if she really does like you or something, she'll make herself suffer and wait.
• Orange Juice: She's alright with the scent of oranges, but it's the tangy taste that gets her.
• Extremely Hot Weather: If it gets way too hot, she'll get all sweaty and sticky, and she'll complain about how gross and revolting she feels.
• Smokers: She doesn't have such a big issue with them. It's just that she strongly believes that smoking is extremely bad for both you and the environment. What ticks her off the most is that the majority of smokers start due to peer pressure and not because they actually want to.
• Racist People/Homophobes: These people really a lot. Hyorin sees no point in being like this. She really likes to learn about other people of different cultures and of different ual orientations, and when these people discriminate, she feels like punching them in the face.
• Full-Time erts: She simply doesn't like them and isn't fond of them. It's fine if they're just a little bit erted, but if they're just going full-time ing, she refuses to stand in the same room as them.

Habits ; 

• She tends to mumble to herself in English a lot.
• When anxious or nervous, she fiddles around with her fingers.
• She covers when she laughs.
• Her face looks unamused and she becomes unusually silent when she's angry.
• When in deep thought, she pokes her cheeks.

Hobbies ; 

• She plays the piano, ukulele, and drums.
• For some reason, she finds joy in collecting tea.
• She does calligraphy.
• Surprisingly, she likes to knit and crochet.
• She very much loves photography.
• She plays video games all the time with the broadest collection.

Park Jaeseok  | 43 | Hotel Owner | alive | According to many of the guys from Hyorin's university, Jaeseok is a very scary looking man. This is somewhat true unless he's with his family or if he's with someone that he puts his trust in and likes. Generally, being the father he is, he does not like it when a boy plans to get close to Hyorin because she's his little angel that he loves very much. He has taught Hyorin many things in life such as the importance of happiness, the clockworks of politics, how to see into one's lies, and how to negotiate with others. 

Mama ;

Yoon Chaewon | 42 | Hotel Co-Owner | alive | Chaewon is a lovely and caring mother who always looks out for the family. Hyorin and Chaewon are very close with each other like sisters almost. There are practically no secrets between these two. From her, Hyorin has also learned some very useful things such as cooking and cleaning. Chaewon is there every step of the way and will always support her daughter.

Park Joongki | 23 | Hotel Manager | alive | Cousin | From the outside perspective, you can see them teasing and lightly arguing with each other with Joongki calling Hyorin "Monkey Face" and Hyorin calling Joongki "Monkey " (XD). They sometimes annoy the hell out of each other just for fun and just laughing around. If you look deeper into their relationship, you can see that the two care and love each other very much, and they can work together diligently. They're actually extremely close and tell each other almost everything. If Joongki catches you touching his little monkey of a cousin in a bad way, he will more than likely kick your . He tends to get a bit overprotective over Hyorin sometimes.

Jung Sora | 19 | University Student | Female | The two met on the day that Hyorin and her family arrived in Korea. It was a rainy day and they luckily got all of their boxes inside. Then, when things could've gone better, the power all of a sudden went out. With concern, Sora ran over with an emergency backpack that her mother packed for them, knocked on the door, and came inside when Hyorin opened the door. With a small smile, Hyorin accepted the bag and led her deeper into the house to allow her to introduce herself to the family. | These two are extremely close. They've been together since day one in Korea, and they know every single detail of each other. Sora generally comes off as lively, teasing, and fun making her very easy to be friends with.

Zhang Yixing | 21 | University Student | Male | Hyorin had just entered high school and this upper classman, Yixing, just ran over to her and hugged her as he yelled out, "This is my girlfriend!". It shocked her and she looked up at him as if he was crazy, and he just pulled her away to a private spot. "Ah, sorry about that. These girls kept clinging onto me, and I saw you..." He smiled a little. Hyorin was still a little speechless, but she slowly responded, "I'll help you. The name is Hyorin. You are...?" He quickly responded, "Yixing." | The two are also very close to each other and are very comfortable in each other's presence. They have no problem telling each other anything. From the start, Yixing has always projected handsome looks making him desirable. He's usually chill and hyper, but can get a little desperate and lost when in a crisis...like being chased by girls.

She found him very amusing to look at and was very curious about him. He was intensely staring at the pages of text as he was studying. Then, he threw his hands up in the air and slightly yelled out, "Screw this!" Then, he put his papers and textbook into his backpack when he realized that his pencil was gone. Hyorin then noticed the pencil at her feet before picking it up and walking towards him. "I'm guessing this is yours?" She held it out and gave a smile as he took it. "Thank you." She laughed a little bit. "Where are you from?" She questioned curiously. He responded, "Oh, I'm actually from here. I'm just waiting for my visiting cousin to get ready." She nodded, smiled, and walked off leaving him intrigued to know her name.

They briefly introduced each other before walking off. Then, a couple days later, Myungsoo came over since he was invited to eat over and that's when he formally got to meet Hyorin.

Scene Request ; [I might have a few up my sleeve ;3 ...Actually a lot XD]

• [#1] It's after work and it's time for janitorial services. However, Hyorin has been worked up too hard and ends up falling asleep by the front desk while mopping the floor. Then, one of her co-workers comes in and shakes her awake and screams out, "Manager! You could have been like this!" (XDDDD)
• [#2] She accidentally flushes her contacts down the toilet while putting them in, and since no one has seen her glasses, she decides to go to work with no vision aid of the sort. Throughout the day, she has become clumsy, stumbling here and there. Her brother finds out and calls her an idiot before going back home to get her glasses, and he forces her to put them on when he gets back.
• [#3] (I will probably kill myself for putting this, but...) Hyorin acidentally eats peanuts while trying the chef's dish. Then, she gets sent to the hospital and stuff...happens...yep.
• [#4] It's a rainy evening and Hyorin forgot her umbrella back at home. After accompanying his visiting cousin, Sehun notices her standing by the front door and asks her if she's doing alright. Then, he offered to take her home. No matter how much she protested that she was going to be alright, she ended up letting him drive her home anyway. When they do reach her house, he walks her up to her door, kisses her, and whispers, "Good night, Miss Manager~". (>///<)
