ABOUT ME

Personality: Hanil has never been an open or friendly girl. She's mostly void of emotions, more robot than human. She seems scary to people because of her quiet demeanor, refined and sophisticated posture, cold personality, and her dark eyes that seem like they look into your heart. She doesn't go out of her way to make friends, and most people are too intimidated by her to approach her. Hanil is independent and doesn't feel the need for friends or close relationships. She usually ignores other people. She's usually the person in the background, the quiet observer. Hanil simply keeps to herself, and in return nobody bothers her. She has a neutral, "I don't care" stance on most things. She doesn't say much, but when she does she always bluntly states what's on her mind and what she feels about a matter, regardless if it's a sensitive topic or if it hurts or offends someone. She's very organized and analytical. Hanil is cautious and thinks every move through before acting. She's very efficient and when given a task she will complete it quickly with outstanding results. Hanil seems very cold and scary, but really she's just lost inside. Deep down she craves some form of human interaction, be it friendship or even love.

Background: Hanil was born in Mokpo, South Korea. Only weeks after her birth, she and her family moved to Seoul in order for her family to start a business. Unexpectedly, the family business was incredibly successful and Hanil lived in Seoul for the next seven years as her family steadily grew wealthier and wealthier. As her parents were able to afford more and more material items, they began to change. Their lives were consumed by the financial business and they were no longer the warm, caring parents Hanil knew in her childhood; they became more cold and estranged from their daughter. Hanil began to feel like they did not think of her as their daughter, but simply a pet they kept around for entertainment. Her parents had tried to mold her into the perfect daughter against her will. She soon learned it was more trouble to fight back, so she just complied with their demands. She became accustomed to the fact that she had no control over her life. Despite her emotionless state, deep down inside she was envious of other children for having normal lives and loving parents, and grew to detest her parents for making her this way. Soon they began to move around to different countries for business reasons. Their first destination was Beijing, China, where they lived for four years. Next they moved to Tokyo, Japan for three years, and even stayed in Milan, Italy for about half a year. After all this traveling the family was able to return to Seoul. Hanil became a well-rounded and cultured individual after this experience, but she felt empty inside because she never recieved her parents love.
Only a year after their return to Seoul, there was a terrible house fire. Hanil was lucky enough to escape the burning mansion with her life, but her parents weren't so lucky. The firefighters never found out the cause of the fire, and many believe it was an act of arson. The culprit was never found. Hanil was fifteen at the time.
After the death of her parents, Hanil was taken into the care of her cousin, Park Taehyun. Taehyun was a rich neurosurgeon working at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, one of the most prestigious hospitals in the United States. Taehyun was a kind man and tried to get Hanil to open up to him, but she never even bothered to get close to him.

Likes: Books, quiet and peaceful environments, sleeping in, apples, the color purple, watching dramas, horse riding, digital art.

Dislike: Rainy days, windy weather, insects, arrogant people, horror movies, sour candy.

Hobbies: Reading, sleeping, watching dramas, horse riding.

Trivia:
-She's never had a boyfriend before. It's not surprising, really. Most guys are too scared to approach her.
-She's pretty good at sports, especially basketball and soccer, but she just doesn't like to play them.
-She's unexpectedly good at holding her alcohol.
-She doesn't like skinship. She hardly even let her family hug her.
-Her bed has rails because she has a tendency to roll off in her sleep.

POWERS

Abilities: Hanil has the ability to manipulate blood. Whether it is a huge puddle or a mere droplet, she can change its form into anything to suit her needs, be it a weapon or a tool. It can be her own blood, or another person's, or even an animal's blood. She can also use its composition and break it down into its basic elements. For example, if there is enough blood, Hanil can extract the iron to make a weapon (that takes a LOT of blood). She can stop the blood flow to another being's brain and make them fall unconcious or even kill them. By using her blood manipulation she can control the movements of others like puppets. Hanil also has some healing ability. By using her blood manipulation she can heal small cuts and bruises. She can heal larger wounds, but it takes a lot of time and energy and runs the risk of infection if she has no means of cleaning the wound. She doesn't particularly like this power and she thinks it's a bit disturbing, but knows it can be useful. She doesn't have to use hand movements but secretly she likes to because she thinks it looks cool. Of course, she would never admit that to anybody.
In addition to this, Hanil can also control a person's body temperature. She still doesn't have complete control of this ability as it can fluctuate along with her emotions. When she gets angry, the body temperature of those around her rise a few degrees, and if she's sad or scared it drops. This can come in handy in healing as well, but it's limited. For example, if someone's running a fever she can help them by slightly reducing their body temperature. But she has to be careful; by inducing a drastic change in body temperature she could possibly kill a person.

When did you discover your powers?: She discovered her powers quite late, when she was 17. Hanil was visiting Taehyun in the hospital. She was bored, so she was exploring parts of the building she had never been. She came across the hospital blood bank. Curious, she slipped inside. She had a small sense of foreboding curling in her gut but she ignored it. Without warning, the glass doors of the refrigerators flew open and all of the bags of blood burst open, spewing blood everywhere. Taehyun, who was looking for her, came across her in the blood bank with blood coating the floors and walls. There was a circle on the floor surrounding her, untouched by the red liquid. They thought it was a freak accident at first, but when Hanil tried to walk through the blood towards Taehyun, the blood parted at her feet, creating a clean path for her to walk on. They were both shaken by this experience and wrote it off as a hallucination of some kind. But it kept eating at Hanil's mind. She wanted to know more about this power she possessed and began experimenting. Because her cousin worked at the hospital it wasn't hard to get ahold of small blood samples, and she began testing her powers. She gained a decent amount of control over her blood manipulation through this experimentation. When she learned that she could heal as well, she asked Taehyun to give her some basic medical training in treating wounds.
She learned about her ability to control body temperature after the blood bank incident. It was gradual, but both Hanil and her cousin noticed that when her mood changed drastically, so did the temperatures of the people around her. When she found out she tested it on herself, not wanting to risk hurting other people.

Back-up Abilities: Invisibility, force-field generation, animal mimicry, psychometry.

YOUR FAMILY

Family's Background: Her parents are both from a lower-class background. When they married they were already struggling with finances, and when Hanil was born things just got worse. They decided to take their chances and move to Seoul and try to earn more money. Their family business was extremely successful and Hanil's parents rode the wave of wealth and fame. They traveled from country to country for the sake of business.

How did you guys meet?: --

Friend's Name: Jung Ah Rin

Age: 19

How did you guys meet?: Hanil and Ah Rin's friendship was more of a one-sided thing. Ah Rin just likes to be friendly with everyone. It was during senior year in high school when they met. Ah Rin saw Hanil sitting alone at lunch (she was quite content with sitting alone as she had been throughout her school career) and decided to be friendly and talk to her. Ah Rin became curious of the strange girl. She sat down and talked to Hanil at lunch more often and talked to her during class and followed her in the hallways holding up one-sided conversations. Hanil always told her to go away and that she was annoying, but she secretly enjoyed the attention. Ah Rin wasn't one to give up anyway and continued doing what she was doing throughout senior year. Hanil felt the slightest twinge of regret and sadness when they had to part ways at graduation.

YOUR SOULMATE

kris3_-_copy.jpg

Lover's Name: Kris

Age: 20

Birthday: November 6, 1991

Personality: Kris used to be a kind, older brother figure. At first glance he may have seemed intimidating and cold because of his sharp, handsome features, but once he began talking a person couldn't help but like him. He wasn't the most talkative person, but he got along with everybody incredibly well. Many looked up to him as an older brother or someone they admired. He was especially admired by the younger children and older women. Many people used to go to him to talk about problems they were facing. He was like the local counselor because he gave out very straightforward and sensible advice that always seemed to work. He had a dry sense of humor and he was the type of person that could tell a joke completely straight-faced, then burst out laughing a few seconds later. He was incredibly kindhearted and would always help someone if they were in need. He couldn't even pass by a stray dog in the streets without giving it any extra food he had on him.
After the tournament, he became a completely different person. Kris is the cold, ruthless killing machine he was trained to be. He can easily kill a person in the blink of an eye. He follows all orders precisely and shows absolutely no mercy. As one of the leaders of EXO he always tries to do what's best for the group. He almost always keeps a cool and level head and is the most rational in the group. He's usually one of the only ones to stay calm during a crisis because his natural leader skills kick in. His instincts are unparalleled and he's always the first to notice if something's off. As the leader he's the most adept at dealing with authority figures, such as the king. He knows that he's unable to escape his position as the king's pawn. He doesn't like to kill but he would forfeit anything for his family. Whenever he feels the need to object, he suppresses his feelings and once again becomes the emotionless soldier.
When he's in battle, however, he becomes completely arrogant. Maybe it's just a battle-hungry side of him, or maybe it's a defense mechanism to rid himself of guilt for hurting people, who knows. He enjoys taunting his opponents and making them angry, making them lash out at him. It's like a game of cat and mouse for him. But when he has to go in for the kill he does it swiftly and painlessly. Despite his arrogant battle nature, he isn't sadistic.
However, there are some moments when he allows himself the luxury of kindness. He laughs more, jokes around more, and is more open and caring. These moments are rare, and he only lets his EXO brothers see the remnants of his old personality. After he meets Hanil these moments become increasingly frequent. Kris himself doesn't notice this change, but the other members do. They're puzzled by his behavior, but they don't say anything because they enjoy seeing this side of him.

How he treats her: Kris's arrogant side comes out when he's around Hanil. The two argue a lot. He enjoys taunting her and trying to anger her. Her retorts are always sharp and bitingly harsh. During their bickering sessions, Hanil calls him Wu Fan. Kris doesn't like it when people call him by his birth name (because that's what only his deceased family called him) and it only adds oil to the flame. He's the only person able to evoke such a strong reaction in Hanil.
In truth, her emotionless outer shell angers him. He doesn't understand how someone could become like this if they haven't experienced something nearly as traumatizing as he and his brothers. He thinks twelve people is enough, he doesn't want anyone else to live the life of a human robot. He doesn't want anyone else to suffer like they did. That's why he always feels a spark of self-accomplishment when he finally elicits some reponse from her.
At first, Hanil ignores Kris, dismissing him as if he were a pesky fly. But he persists in his teasing and taunts, and she begins to feel irritated with him. Her response only encourages him more, and he continues with his treatment with her.
Kris is intrigued by Hanil. He sees through her tough and cold guise and sees the fragile, lonely girl underneath. He thinks that she's like a delicate porcelain doll. Her outside appearance reminds him all too well of his own killing-machine persona, and that troubles him. He wants Hanil to open up and see the world in a more positive light instead of having no emotion towards anything. He wants to find out more about her. He wants to know who this girl is, why she seems so cold and distant, how she turned out that way, and most importantly, why he feels so strongly about changing her.

Abilities: Kris has the ability to fly. He has complete mastery of his power. He can fly around for incredibly long periods of time because his stamina and chakra is top-notch. He's very agile as well; when he's flying he can quickly duck and weave his way through obstacles or opponents. He can also fly at very high speeds, his maximum is close to the speed of sound. It's quite useful in battle, because he's honed his flight, martial arts, and weaponry skills to make his aerial attacks deadly. He can't use his power for direct attacks (like Suho being able to fight with water, or Xiumin using his power to freeze opponents) so he's forced to use his body as his weapon. He is very skilled in martial arts. He's also good with weapons, especially swords and knives, and always carries some sort of weaponry with him.

Scene requests? It would be nice if you threw in a few arguments here and there like I described ^^

Back-up Lover's Name: Oh Sehun

Age: 19

Birthday: April 12, 1993

Personality: Sehun used to be a shy, innocent and naive little boy. At first glance he seemed a bit intimidating with his handsome features, but once he opened up he was actually very cute. He liked being doted on by his hyungs and was a treasured maknae. He was very shy around girls and couldn't talk to one without turning bright red and stuttering. He was actually very sharp and observant and noticed a lot of things that others would miss. He was kindhearted and considerate and always put others' needs before his own. Sehun was honest and a hard worker and always tried his best to please his hyungs. He was unexpectedly cute; he had a lot of aegyo and when he used it it could even rival Luhan's or Tao's aegyo levels.
Now, Sehun always keeps on a poker face and looks calm and collected. He's able to kill in an instant like his hyungs. His instincts are unparalleled and he's always the first to notice if something's off. The tournament has turned him into a mindless soldier and he follows any and all orders without question. He occasionally has moments when he doesn't want to kill anymore and wants to return to the simple life he once had, but then he remembers that he's sacrificing himself for the well-being of his family and returns to his dark and bloody way of life.

What he thinks of her: At first, Sehun is a bit intimidated by Hanil because of her cold outer shell (though he would never tell anyone). But as he sees more and more of her, he begins to think that she's weird but interesting. He's curious about her and wants to know more about her even though she's the complete opposite of his ideal type.

Abilities: Sehun has the ability to control the wind. He can form tornadoes, blow enemies off their feet, and more. He can even create storms and small-scale hurricanes if his powers are combined with Suho's and Chen's. He doesn't have 100% control over it, however, because if he ever loses his temper (which doesn't happen often, mind you) his power can get a bit out of control.

Scene requests? Nada

Ehehe, I don't know. I don't usually make characters like Hanil, so she sounds a bit rough to me. But I hope you like her anyway :D
In truth, when I had her all planned out she sounded a lot better in my head ;A; Oh well~
Does she sound like an ice princess to you? Honestly when I planned her out I didn't mean to make her like one >__<

Idk. To be quite honest, I really want to use your app as well.. but GAH. Theres this one girl who also applied for Sehun, and she fixed her app already once because her character was really similar to Lavishlylay's and I'd feel guilty asking her to fix hers again. So I'll be a little bit shameless.... Do you want to apply for Kris at all? If there is anyway I can persuade you, let me know. xDDDD

Hey, just wondering something. do you think you can elaborate a little bit more on Sehun for me? xD

mwhaha. I like your app. She seems like a very cold demeaning character. xD xD XD xDDD I like how you described her family situation for me. The poor thing. At least hanbyul knew her dad cared.. She just never actually heard it from him.. xD WHOA -_-++ and HER POWERS!! sdfasjdg I already had a blood bender apply, but yours is so much cooler and in more description!! XD PERFECTION!! xD XD I love luhannie's personality!! xD I was wondering if I can change one thing though. The boys are supposed to be completely emotionless, so maybe he can was a social butterfly before and starts changing back to his old self after he meets hanil? just a suggestion.. same for sehun as well.. (it'd fit the plot more...) I have nothing more to say about this app! It was such a pleasure to read! xD Take your time editing theres one more week left, and best of luck to you and your character! :DD
