Personality: Joohyun is a pretty laid-back person. She’s a lot like her father (below). She has a lot of patience and doesn’t get angry easily. She doesn’t like it when people are sad or angry, so she always tries to keep a smile on her face as reassurance. She doesn’t like complicated situations or relationships. She usually says what’s on her mind without thinking about the consequences. Sometimes the things she says are really random and only make sense in her mind. She also likes to talk a lot, especially when she meets someone new and wants to be friendly. Joohyun is a pacifist and tries to be the peacemaker of the group. She’s very clever and articulate with her words and can always use words to her advantage, be it in an argument or covering for another member on a show. Joohyun likes to be honest but will lie if she thinks it is for the better. She has a “go with the flow” attitude and takes life as it comes. She can’t hold grudges at all. She also has a procrastination and time management problem, where she’ll leave off a task until the last moment. She always tries to be friendly to people she doesn’t know well, even if she doesn’t really like them. Around her friends she is loose and carefree and jokes around a lot. She can be serious when the situation calls for it, but that rarely happens. She is very loyal towards her friends and always tries to do what’s best for them.

>When nervous: She doesn't like to show it when she's nervous around people she doesn't know well and will try to laugh it off and act casual. But when she's with close friends and is nervous (like before the debut stage) she'll space out for a few seconds at a time and her hands won't stop shaking.
Trivia:
- Joohyun's really athletic. Being a dancer, her physical stamina, endurance, and balance are top notch and she enjoys playing sports. Her specialties are basketball and volleyball, but she's above average in most sports.
- Her specialties in dance are popping and hip-hop.
- Circling her left ankle is a tattoo that says 'De Profundis ad Lucem' (Latin: 'From the depths to the light') and circling her right ankle is a tattoo that says 'Per Ignum ad Lucem' (Latin: 'Through fire to the light'). The reason she got these tattoos on her ankles is because she says by using her own strength and standing on her own two feet she will become famous (walk into the light).
- She's fluent in English because her father is an English professor, and she has basic knowledge of Mandarin when her parents took her to China in the summer when she was young.
- She can't hold her alcohol. When she gets drunk she laughs at everything and shouts out nonsensical phrases.
- She has a huge love for cartoons and cute things. Her room is filled with adorable knick-knacks and stuffed animals.
- She loves Japanese culture as well and is trying to teach herself the language. She adores anime and manga and has a huge collection of manga (about 300 volumes of various series).

Mother | Park Hanil | Age 45 | Former fashion designer, deceased | Park Hanil was an extravagant and bold character whose personality shined through her clothing designs. She was confident, eccentric, and unafraid to try new things. She was also an ever-optimistic person who always tried to make the people around her happy. She would get a bit over-emotional at times, but got over it quickly.
She died in a fatal car accident coming home from a fashion showcase when Joohyun was six.
Father | Park Sungwoo | Age 47 | Higher-level English professor at Seoul National University | Park Sungwoo is an easygoing man. He's very relaxed and doesn't get angry easily, and his patience is endless. He always has a smile on his face. He likes to joke around as well and he is a fun character to be around. Of course, he can be stern when he has to but that doesn't happen often.
Joohyun and her father moved from Incheon to Seoul soon after her mother's death when her father got a teaching job at SNU.
Best friend | Jung Ah Rin | Age 18 | College freshman | Ah Rin is a cheerful, bubbly bundle of happiness. She has ADD, which explains her constant chattering and need to move around. Many people are overwhelmed by her boundless energy at first, but Joohyun's relaxed personality balances it out. Ah Rin tends to think more with her heart than her mind, but when she does something she always means well. She's still a child at heart but that's why many people like her. Many people tend to think of her as a younger sister.
Joohyun had to leave Ah Rin behind in Incheon when she moved to Seoul. She gave Joohyun the wish anklet to remember her by. They still keep in touch, often commuting between the two cities to meet with each other.

Who's the lucky guy?: Park Chanyeol [EXO-K]
How old is he?: 19
What is he like?: Chanyeol is eternally happy. He's always cheerful and has a huge (if not creepy) grin plastered on his face. He's outgoing and friendly and not afraid to show his affection to people. He always feels like he has to protect the people he's close to from unhappiness, which is why he always smiles. When he raps or plays drums he looks very charismatic and cool, but he also has a lot of unintentional aegyo in the way his eyes shine when he talks animatedly about something or the way his lower lip juts out when he's pouting. His tall frame makes him somewhat awkward in his movements so he has trouble dancing. He often asks Joohyun to help him with dance moves. He also likes to tease and make lighthearted fun of his friends. He's a very loveable character.
How did you meet?: The two first met when Joohyun was taking a bike ride in the park when she was 14. Chanyeol was distracted by something he saw on the side of the rode and crashed his bike into hers. After many profuse apologies, he dragged her off to buy her ice cream to make up for it, not taking no for an answer. That was when Chanyeol just joined SM, and Joohyun had been training for about six years.
The next day, Chanyeol was being chased around by a very angry Baekhyun (why is he angry? I don't even know. Chanyeol did something stupid, I guess) in the SM building. When he turned the corner he clumsily tripped over his own two feet and crashed yet again into Joohyun, ramming his head against hers. Needless to say, they were both surprised to see each other again in the least likely of places.
Who's the 2nd lucky guy?: Oh Sehun [EXO-K]
How old is he?: 18
What is he like?: He's an adorable boy. Despite how comfortable he is with his EXO hyungs he simply cannot talk to a girl without stuttering and turning bright red. When he's around girls he has to shyly hide behind one of his hyungs, usually Luhan. He's generally quiet and is the person in the background. He's very observant and thoughtful and can pick up on someone's emotions quite easily. He's also incredibly naive and innocent. He's considerate and always tries his best to please others.
How did you meet?: Joohyun first saw him when she peeked into the dance room while he was practicing. She was impressed by his sharp and dynamic dance moves and when the song was over she went inside to talk to him and compliment his dancing. When he saw her he got really nervous (as he usually does around girls). Then Luhan poked his head into the dance room looking for him and Sehun said a rushed goodbye and ran after Luhan. Joohyun thought he was a weird kid at first but when she saw more of him she began thinking he was just adorable. She met Sehun soon after she met Chanyeol, when he first joined SM.

WHO DARED TO CHALLENGE YOU LIKE THIS?!?!: Kim Hyoyeon
Why?: Although Hyoyeon had been a trainee about two years longer than Joohyun and being about five years older, Joohyun's dancing ability rivals and maybe even surpasses Hyoyeons. They have many friendly competitions. They also like to watch each other dance to point out each other's mistakes and give each other tips.
Personality: Hyoyeon is actually quite nice. She is considerate and looks out for Joohyun like an older sister. She also likes to joke around a lot with Joohyun. When the two are around each other Hyoyeon becomes quite the choding.
How do you want him/her to die?: jks. Hyoyeon's too nice to die >__< Hehe ^^

What was it like training for 10 years?: Joohyun signed with SM soon after the death of her mother and her move from Incheon to Seoul. Right after the move she had a hard time adjusting at a new school and in a new neighborhood, so she threw herself into dance practice. She always put her training above everything else. It was all she cared about. She often practiced for hours on end nonstop, forsaking her health for the pursuit of her dream. It made her father worry about her a lot, but she always assured him that she knew what she was doing and that everything would pay off. At school she was friendly with many but close with few. The only really close friends she had were from the company because she spent most of her time there. She also had many admirers in school, who were impressed at the fact that she had signed with such a big agency at such a young age. There were also many people who doubted her ability and wondered why she devoted herself to something so young. Joohyun had to watch as people who were trainees shorter than her debuted before her. It hurt her pride and made her question if she was considered good enough, but she kept her head high and trained harder than ever.
How did you even get in, in the first place?: By the age of seven, Joohyun had already discovered her passion and talent for dancing and had begun to polish her skills. Her dad encouraged her and even got her a professional dance teacher. Her dad often took videos of her dancing so she could look at them afterwards at critique herself, and he eventually decided to post the videos on the internet. Her apparent skill at such a young age caught SM Entertainment's eye and they rushed to recruit her. At first her father didn't want her to join, wanting a normal life for his daughter, but he soon allowed for it as Joohyun desperately wanted it.
