Style: Jaehwa's ideal style is comfortable and casual. He usually wears a dark-colored jacket or hoodie with a T-shirt underneath or just a loose-fitting long-sleeved shirt. Personality: Jaehwa is the moodmaker of the group. He's outgoing and social and is always cracking a joke. He doesn't like it when the mood is down, so he tries to brighten it with his smile and humor. Jaehwa is cheerful and bright, and people are drawn to him. He makes friends very easily. Underneath his happy exterior, he is a bit sensitive, and can easily be affected by the atmosphere. When he's caught in a bad or embarrassing situation he'll just try to laugh it off. He can be emotional at times, and sometimes lets his heart guide his actions instead of his mind.

Jaehwa is a loyal and trustworthy friend, and will do anything in his power to help a friend in need. He is clever and quick-witted. He is also a bit of a perfectionist and can be quite picky. He can be serious when he has to be, but not for long. Jaehwa uses his persistence to get what he wants. He'll keep annoying that person until they give in. People tend to go to him for sensible advice, even if they don't know him very well. He really hates being alone; if he has nobody to talk to or joke around with he'll become quiet and sad. He's an incredibly forgiving person and can't hold a grudge for long, even if he wants to. He's rather soft and will give in to someone easily, especially if they show aegyo. Person You'd Like To Be In a Relationship With: Kim Soori, his best friend and longtime crush.

History: The two have known each other for most of their lives. They first met in the summer before their first year of junior high. Soori moved into the house next to Jaehwa's. Being the outgoing person he is, he introduved himself to her on the first day. He annoyed her at first, but because of his persistence she soon became accustomed to his presence and they were soon inseperable. They still communicate and meet up despite Jaehwa's busy schedule.

How They Act Around Other People: Soori is very bold and outgoing, and very social. She's quite similar to Jaehwa. She's the leader type and easily takes charge of difficult situations. She's very kind and soft-hearted in that she can't turn down a plea for help. She often discards any concerns she has for herself and goes all out in helping others. She has a tendency to get far too worried about other people.

How They Act Around Your Character: Their personalities are similar, so they joke around a lot and poke fun at each other. They have no qualms about getting up close and personal with each other and they're pretty affectionate, so sometimes people mistake them for a couple when they're really not.

• Lee Sungyeol [Infinite]: The two are pretty close. Both of them are immature, so they make fun of each other and also go aroung pulling harmless pranks on their group members. They first met when Jaehwa was a trainee and he got to go backstage at one of Infinite's concerts. Their personalities clicked at the first conversation, and when Sungyeol learned that Jaehwa was a trainee and would eventually debut they kept in touch and they get to see each other every now and then.
• Jung Daehyun [B.A.P]: Daehyun and Jaehwa are pretty good friends. They share the same mindset on a lot of things and they can relate to each other, so they tend to have long conversations about everything and nothing. Though Daehyun's onstage persona is quiet and mysterious, in reality he's quite talkative, so he and Jaehwa get along very well. They first met when they were both trainees. A few trainees from a bunch of different companies organized an event where trainees could just relax for a day and get to know each other better. Jaehwa spotted Daehyun and thought he seemed interesting so he struck up a conversation, and they got along pretty well. They stayed in contact and hung out a lot of times after that.

Family

Family History: Jaehwa was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He lived in a middle-upper class family and was pretty well off. His father was a lawyer, and his mother was a pharmacist. He led a pretty normal life. He later decided he wanted to become famous, either as a singer, dancer, or comedian. When he first told his parents, they were against his dream. They knew the entertainment business was risky, and they weren't sure he would be able to best all competition and become successful. With heavy persuasion from Jaehwa, his parents caved and allowed him to enroll in the Seoul Performing Arts Academy. During his freshman year, he auditioned for SM Entertainment and was accepted, and began his long years of training.
