 • Juri would be probably the happiest when she found out that the company won't be restricting their fashion. She is definitely the fashionista and would mix match a variety of work clothes. Her usual bottom outfit would be a white or black pencil skirt to maintain formality of her attire, but when it comes to her top, she would definitely try every color and style. There will be a day she would pick a simple rose colored long sleeve shirt but in the next day, she would go with a stylish pink blouse with sheer sleeves, added with a pearl necklace. Sometimes, she would also wear her colored blazers and all of her outfit is paired with her choice of heels, that's how trendy she is with her fashion.

• In fridays, Juri would try to use wear the company shirt given by the boss, experimenting with any clothes that goes with the uniform but not every dress down day she would use that though. Since its friday, she would tone down with her fashion and will make herself comfortable as possible. Her choice of outfit would be one piece attire and skirts. Most of it would be flowy and shirt dresses, and floral designs for skirts, in any kind of color, she will still wear heels.

• When late autumn is coming, the start of winter. Juri would replace her blazers with chic trench coats to protect her from the cold wind, her tops would be mostly consist of cotton shirts to keep her warm. Sometimes, she would drop the trench coats for large woolen cardigans. 

• Her accessories would be consists of stud earrings, a watch, sometimes necklaces, and a branded hand bag or shoulder bag.

• When it comes to hairstyles, she wouldn't bother to tie up her long hair or style it with anything. But if it is a hot summer day, she would go with a bun or a low-ponytail.

Profit • Probably the boss, Doryeong, would start to call her this for fun. Since her name, Juri, means 'Precious profit', and her surname, Jung, means 'To count', combined together, it would be 'To count precious profits'. 

Chef Ju • Her co-workers made up this nickname for her when they saw her own aesthetically pleasing lunch boxes.

Mum • Her co-workers noticed the similiarities of how Juri acts like an old soul trapped in a 25 year old body of hers. She always stock up the pantry on her own, filling up the coffee pot for them, has a lot of cold medicines, promote healthy lifestyle, she cooks, she cleans, what else, she also have the love for teas.

backstory:

             The fourth child and only daughter of the wealthy Jungs. She was born in Fujian, China and grew up here for 8 years before her family came back to Seoul to permanently settled here. The Jungs were full korean though, they just stayed in China because of some business matters of their family. The Jungs own a number of investment firms in South Korea and were starting to branch out in east asia, therefore, Juri lived a life of a pampered rich lady. Everything was served to her in a silver platter, since she was the only daughter of the Jungs, she received a lot of affection and grew up well, her parents doted on her, her older brothers babied her to the core.

             After finishing her highschool in an international school in Seoul, she managed to snatch a spot in one of the famed SKY universities in South Korea, the Korea University, her family did not expected that she passed but they were really proud of her. Juri majored in Financial Management because she took consideration for her family's business, in other words, she felt pressured since her older brothers were successful in the field of Finance and Business, and were actually working in their firms. She felt like she needed to do something to prove that she can stand on the same level with her brothers too.

             Studying financial management was fine but she did not feel any satisfaction when she graduated and attained that degree. Juri was immediately put in by her father in one of their firms, with a position of being a Financial Manager. It was boring for her, everyday was monotonous, her co-workers was too polite with her and they just focused on working. Even though its a high-end job, she managed to do her work responsibilies or she thought so.. since she noticed that some of her usual work is missing. Juri started to get suspicious and interrogated one of her juniors, that when she found out that they have been told to 'make her suffer less', meaning they have been giving her the less work as possible.

             Juri got upset, really really upset and also hurt because her family doesn't even trust her a bit. She felt that they all did it because they still see her as a 'kid' but she was fed up with all the pamperings that they gave, she wanted to learn and grow. At last, she ditched her job and told her parents that she will find a career outside of their business, she doesn't want a dull and suffocating atmosphere, she want a real work experience in a good enviroment where she can grow. Her family might be worried but they let her be, since all they wanted is for their only girl is to be happy.

             In the past, she lived with her parents in their family house, since her brothers have already moved out and had their own residences. Currently, she stayed in one of her family's spare house in Gangnam, it wasn't that big nor small but just decent sized. She had her own maid, gardener and chauffeur.

             • Positive: Good-tempered, Perceptive

          • Juri mostly get along with other people, she had this pleasing attitude where she can make new people comfortable with her. People will mostly appreciate her because of her sweet temper, she is calm and not easily angered by anything, even with someone who had high-maintenance attitude, she'll probably be understanding of it and leave them alone for peace, she won't be bothered by that easily. With her good temperament, she is usually cheerful, expect her to make greetings in the morning with a smile that would be contagious, even the one's who woke up in the wrong side of the bed and will also felt their mood lift up a bit. She will probably the one who will stay put and still positive admist of sea of problems, since she believes that 'Being negative would not solve the problem alone, lets just be realistic and think of solutions in a good light', then will be the first one to start working to find solutions. 

             • Since Juri is usually calm, this come with perks, her ability to keep her emotions under control will make perceptive to her surroundings. She had the ability to heed and notice something quickly, her sharp senses is able to see and understand people or situations clearly and intelligently even though they are subtle. She probably will be the first one to notice if some potential client is being shady or if there is something wrong in work. This very advantageous to her job as a Financial Manager, she is quick to notice if there is a mistake on her numbers, less risks in doing mistakes in auditing tasks and her prepared financial reports would be detailed.

             • Negative: Guileful, Indecisive

            • Here comes the bad side, underneath her cheerful smile, lies a cunning person. Juri isn't afraid of using clever tricks or plans that she can use to get someone to do something or to gain an advantage over them. It can be simple ploys such as deceiving someone to do something for her (it could be tricking her co-worker to get her tea from the pantry whenever she is lazy or making them quiet when she's eating secretly in her cubicle) to huge deceitful plots, especially snatching potential clients from their rivals using underhanded means. Just give her time to let her act on her schemes, one day, there would be big shot client calling in their office to make a deal, thanks to her shenanigans. Of course, not all the time it would be successful and there will be huge risks of getting in trouble with the rivals, but just trust her, she would think of a solution (No heavens, what a trouble maker). But if someone wanted to trick the company, Juri would be the one to block them immediately, there is a saying that 'You can't fool a fooler', she's also a snake like their rivals, she can sense the deception from afar. 

             • If they think that the temperament of Juri could be a good trait of a leader, that's correct, but don't ever put her into a leadership position. This woman definitely lacks on decision-making skills, its her biggest flaw, she could have it all, almost perfect to be a leader but she just at making decisions. She could give ideas and put out the pros and cons of a decision, but it would take her a very long time of thinking of what choice that she will make because she was torn between choosing the most suitable decision on the problem and considering her co-worker's opinions of what solution they'd make. That's why Juri always look up to those who are in leader positions, they could endure the difficulties of making a decision. It may not look like it, but she have deep respect for her boss doryeong.

               Her cubicle:

• Juri would absolutely choose the cubicle beside the window. She loves to bask in the glory of sunlight every morning and she won't be bothered by the sun even it is straight up glaring at her in 1 o'clock in the afternoon. 

• She likes her desk spacious and clean, there would be only a few things on her desks. Aside from her office necessities, there are only cat trinkets, a family picture pinned on the corkboard, her own mug, a calculator and her dearest cactus plant.

• Certified girl scout, she had a stash of medicines and first aid kit on her desk drawer. 

• She brings her own pillow and blanket, three reasons: first, to cushioned her seat with the pillow, second, blanket to cover her legs whenever its cold, third, to sleep every early friday mornings in her seat, since it is the day she always come in early. (Because Simple outfit = the earlier she is, Juri's logic)

• When the winter comes, she'd fill up her desk drawer with packs of hand warmers because she is very sensitive to cold.

 

               Work Habits:

• She is always on time, with the exception of mondays where she is sometimes (fashionably) late and fridays wherein she is an hour early, limbs draped on her chair, probably absorbing all the sunlight to her body.

• Her daily morning ritual before working consists of going straight up to the pantry to make her tea and sit idly at her cubicle for almost ten minutes, absorbing vitamin D. 

• Favorite lunch spot is the pantry, will likely to take a picture of the pantry sign of different colors and post it in her instagram account.

• She is not a workaholic but she love working productively, it gives her a sense of satisfaction where she knew that she get her work done properly.

• Rarely got stressed because of work, just worked up wherein she had the to work under pressure and will make her work more productively. She likes that feeling the most.

• If she ever become stressed, expect to see a half-emptied cookie jar in the pantry and a tea pot in her cubicle.

• Takes a ten-minute break every 2 hourse, just relaxing in front of her desk and sipping her tea.

• Surprisingly, she is very attentive and engaged in meetings, she will be the perfect person to ask if you forgot some detail in the meeting.

• She likes to work overtime to perfect her tasks and finish it. If someone is working overtime, she will volunteer to work overtime too just to accompany them. The real reason is that her house is very lonely and knows how sad that feeling is.

 

 

               What she will probably do:

• She is extremely picky about her food so she will bring her own lunch and heat it up in the microwave in the pantry.. If there is a microwave though else she will suffer eating cold food.

• If there is none, she will probably demand a request to install a microwave or bring a microwave on the next day of her work. (No worries, she won't charge Doryeong for that. It is for their own good.)

• Watch her to be fussy about the pantry all the time. The coffee pot has been emptied out? She would make another even if she don't drink coffee. There's a spill? She will wipe it clean.

• Promotes a healthy style of living, will give a meaningful glance to the stacked ramyuns and crackers on the side (Don't worry she won't touch it). Aside from the fruits, she won't eat those junks. So expect her to bring a jar of cookies that she made on the second day of work. 

• She is proud of her baking skills! She will definitely bring more jars with biscuits, wafers and snack bars to stock up the pantry. 

• Is not a big fan of coffee, she prefer fruit juices, chocolate drinks, and teas to hydrate herself while working. 

• Since the paper is not allowed in the pantry, so instead of using tea bags, she will bring storage tins filled with different kinds of loose tea leaves. That's how generous she is (and finicky about her everyday work life).

• Then most likely to bring an electric kettle and a tea pot to the office pantry so she can brew her daily morning tea. "Boss, just deduct the half of the electricity bill on my salary." She is serious about that though.

 

 

               Fun facts:

• That one employee who takes care of the plants and decorations at the office just because she likes cleaning, it cleanses her soul, she said.

• Also had a knack for decorating interiors.

• An aesthetic foodie, her co-workers would be shock if they saw how beautiful her lunch is. She never forget to take a picture of it to post it on instagram, also had a thousands of followers because of her Daily Aesthetic Lunch.

• Most likely to be the one who still looks fresh in hell day, while her co-workers is in the verge of breaking down in stress.

• Likes to take pictures of her co-workers (mostly stolen) there would be funny pictures, a happy one or even dead serious. They will likely see it pinned on her corkboard. (Yeah she is sweet.)

• Fun fact, did you know that she's studying her second degree? she is taking up saturday classes and is majoring in psychology. So if there is work in saturday, she will make it up for working overtime.

• She will probably teach her co-workers psychological tricks that they can use in work and giving Doryeong an advice on how-to-notice-if-someone-is-a-scam-101.

• Or use those tricks to do little pranks inside the office.

• Juri will join company dinners, but don't expect her to eat too much since she is very picky about food and no alcohol for her, she loathed the taste of it.

• She is very lazy when it comes to commuting (here comes the rich daughter) and also scared to learn driving because she thought that she might hit someone if she ever drive. That's why she had her own chaffeur driving her to a place and fetching her.

 

 

"Hello, take a seat." Doryeong leaves through the simple application form and the candidate's resume casually, twirling his Yonsei pen in his left hand. "So, how did you come across welove, and why do you want to work here?"

Juri flashed a charming smile and sat on the chair comfortably. Her eyes take a swift glance on the resume that he is holding before looking back on his eyes. "Well, I saw the job posting in an online job finder." She paused as the corner of lifts up, "Honestly, I like the company name, it is plain and simple in an appealing way, it gives me the impression that it will be a pleasing enviroment here and it will suit me the best, this could help me grow into good and better employee. With an improving employee, the company will be striving too."

 

He flashes what he thought was his characteristic suave smile, but it turned out to be a lopsided, I'm-not-even-sure-how-to-interview-you one, "Ahh i see. so you've applied to be my FInancial Manager, i'm guessing you have the relevant knowledge? any past experience?" His voice raises a little at the end, destroying his established calm demeanor.

As she noticed his facade disappearing, she cast an understanding gaze at him and go on with his flow. "Yes, I graduated with a degree in Financial Management, I had several internship trainings in different financial institutions, and I specialized in guiding a business in financial decisions by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports but I can also do simple auditing tasks. I also had a 1 year work experience in an investment firm.."

 

"That's great! uhhhh, um. your... expected salary? I mean, we're just a startup and I don't think I can afford much, but I'd like to know where you stand on this matter? and you've got to know that we most probably will work overtime here."

Thinking about the number of zeroes in her bank account, she was somewhat at lost on what to  say on what salary she expect. She did not need much money so.. "I understand that the company just started so I am fine with salary of 800,000krw a month, no worries, I like to work overtime." She grinned.

 

The boss sighs an audible sigh of relief. "Okay, last bit! you'll be having your own workstation, but for now... do you have any decorating tips? It's really a lil sparse around here.. not too much plastic stuff, of course." his voice trails off.

Juri perked up when she heard the word 'decorating tips', she take a quick glance around the area while she recall what she learned in her psychology lectures. "Since the company just started with limited funds, you should focus on increasing the productivity of your employees, staring at the dull white wall for hours will make them a little stressed, you can put up a wall clock on the wall, and some small painting or pictures with blue and orange in color, blue is calming, and orange can be refresing to eyes." She sweep her gaze on the left most side of the room, where the windows are placed. "Flowers would be good to placed at the window where they can absorb sunlight, plus they will add color to the room, orchids are a good choice. Staying here for hours straight can be stifling, green plants will be useful to bring in fresh air, but succulents could be only placed near where the sunlights is, low-light plants are the best choice, you can place floor plants in the four corners of the room." She enthusiastically explained and her eyes brighten at the sight of the well-decorated pantry. "Oh your pantry looks beautiful.." but her smile falters a bit when she saw the ramyuns and crackers, she decide to gave a suggestion. "Maybe a water dispenser and a lot of healthy foods could be a great addition to the pantry." 

 

Doryeong take mental notes at first of her decorating tips, but as he continue to listen to her waterfall of words, he is somewhat astonish of her knowledge in designing and how she incorporate it with her understanding of employees needs. "Oh.. you know so much about what good decorations is good for the workers.."

Realizing that she got carried away with her inner-designer-self, she paused and inhale a little. "Yes, I like reading about designing and I learned some bits in psychology lectures, everything about human behavior and their needs..  and it is the second degree that I am working on." Juri explained slowly.

 

The twirling of the yonsei pen on Doryeong's fingers ceased, his eyes darted back and forth on his prospect employee and her resume that he had been holding from the start. He is somewhat thinking thoroughly, "What do you think of doing marketing campaigns?" he asked, trying to test the waters. "Working on the product brandings, marketing them online, brainstorming taglines, what else.. those tasks seems to be aligned with your interests."

Juri got stunned, but it wasn't the unpleasant type of surprise. She carefully processed his words and reflect on it. 'Yeah, it seems to be fitted on my interests unlike working everyday with static numbers on an excel sheet.' She meets his gaze and replied in a steady manner. "Honestly, I don't have the proper knowledge of marketing or its concept, but if it comes to designing product brands to suit the needs of the target audience, then I am certain that I could help with that."

 

"Okay, thanks a lot for coming in today! I'll let you know of your interview results in about a week!" 

"Thank you very much." She sported a gentle smile before she left.

 

 

        Juri would be open to the idea of Doryeong recommending her to be a Marketing Executive of WeLove, this could be her door to another path of growing her career, exploring her potential and gaining newfound experience. A little insecure though because she doesn't have any proper knowledge of marketing, she will probably read a lot marketing content books, researching online and even minoring it alongside with her second degree. Presumbably, will seek a lot of guidance from Doryeong since he graduated with a degree in Marketing. Juri will reach to this kind of extent, just to fill in what she lacks in being a Marketing Executive, since she knew how important her role is in the company. 

        A good grasp in designing, having knowledge in psychology and managing finance, Juri will utilize all of it to make it up for her lack of basic marketing skills (Yes, we love a triple threat power woman). Her learnings of psychology is a huge plus when it comes to the marketing of WeLove. She can help understand the target audience needs better, with that, she could give assistance on designing brands to make and to meet the needs of the target. Her knowledge of people's behavior could help the team make marketing strategies, campaigns and contents appeal to their chosen audience. They want to interpret the datas? She know statistics, just don't ask her what is the principles of marketing. They want her to make a decision? do not even expect to get a proper one from her because that's the deparment she needs to improve a lot.

 

 

Mr. Jung // This serious cold business man is only soft to her youngest child and only daughter, Juri. He actually wished for a daughter and almost lost hope when he had three consecutive sons but here she is, kicking and alive. No matter how old she is, she will be forever his precious daughter, so he cannot see her suffer a bit. He realized how excessive he is when Juri moved out of their home. They still have family dinners in sunday. Probably will keep tabs on welove so he can check up on his daughter.

Ms. Jung // Juri's gentle and caring mother, she is the first one to understand her daughter's hurt feelings when they made a mistake on being overprotective on her. Had to coax his husband a lot to let their daughter to be independent, she is also reluctant to accept the fact that Juri is already old enough but is also happy that her daughter took the initiative to made decisions for herself. 

Her brothers // Junsu, Junhoe, Junhyuk, from oldest to youngest, aged 29, 28, 27 respectively. Those brother of hers are her own bullies but will be also the knight in shining armor when someone bullied their sister. They had their own inherited firm branches, residences, and girlfriends, with the oldest planning to propose to her long time lover. They will be the biggest tease about Juri's lack of lovelife, since she is the only one who's still have to bring someone home to introduce to the family. But they are also the one who scares off their sister's possible suitors.

Boss Doryeong // This two could be the best work partners if its possible. Doryeong about to get scammed?Here is Juri to save the day. Juri cannot make a decision? She can pass that responsibility to Boss Doryeong. Most of their topics will range from productivity, group dynamics, decorations and psychological tricks how to convince a client. With how petty Doryeong is, he'll probably team up with Juri to sneak an attack to their rivals. With Juri seeking guidance and asking advices from him most of the time, this two will get much closer like bffs.

• One of her co-workers saw Juri came out from an expensive sleek black car and the driver calling her
'Miss Juri' in a very formal tone. Then it would be an office gossip and when Juri find out about it, she
would jokingly tell them she had a sugar daddy and they will low-key believe it. She will admit the truth
though.
• In company dinner when they have to use public transportation to get to the reserved place. Wherein Juri
would be new to all of the commuting stuffs that her co-workers need to look out for her most of the time
because she might get lost.
• And then her co-workers teaching Juri how to use public transportation.
