SO, COLAN, TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF.

PERSONALITY 
 

traits ; 

warm-hearted. polite. push-over. taciturn. motherly.
protective. gauche (awkward).  phlegmatic. guarded at

inspiration ; isfp and infp, little bit of derek from teen wolf, hufflepuff.

an overall ; so this big dude, with a hell of a lot of tattoos and muscles, is colan taek. he is a man of a few words(and limited expressions) who, naturally, intimidates the out of others because of his appearance. and while it isn't good to judge other by their outer display, he does look like he could, and would, break your bones easily. and he well aware of this, which is why he hardly get's  annoyed or even complains when others avoid being in the same room as him. he just simply sighs and walks away with his hurt heart. because just below the surface, colan is a very sweet, though, sometimes awkward, person. yes, sweet. believe it or not, this big guy is a total softie. and when he isn't being some colan is normally a full time mom (and dad) when he isn't  one bomb cook, and total comfortable to be around once you get pass his looks. though, he can be a bit boring.

BACKGROUND :　
despite how warm he is, colan grew up in a rather cold, unaffectionate environment. he was born in new york with two 'what is this thing you call emotion and affection you speak of??' strict lawyers for parents that mostly did their own thing. when the two decided to split, colan was shipped off to his grandparents in washington at the age of 9. he wasn't really surprised but it still hurt to know he meant close to nothing to them. they called and visited, dropped some money on him to make up for their lack of appearance in his life. slowly, colan came to not to care too much about it. his grandparents and the older owners showed plenty enough of love towards him. 

at 11 years old, colan joined art classes, mainly by his grandmother's request, to get him out of that anti-social bubble of his. it worked for the most part. still rather quiet but easy to interact with after aa few tries. and he developed a passion for art. 

saving up enough money to buy a better computer, and a drawing tablet, by doing some heavy lifting at a warehouse in the city, colan's focus was drawn to digital art. he started his tumblr in his beginning years of highschool to sort of document his art. he didn't gravitate towards anyone except for the teachers, so he kept his mind off the loneness (until he met ren) by drawing nonstop. 

for college, colan chose university of floria. a friend, who he met through tumblr back in his second year of highschool heavily suggested it. best college in florida, but with colan's grades he had no trouble getting in with a full scholarship. for an ending project in his second year he had to create a tutorial on one of his art pieces. colan hadn't expected the video to do so well. ren, his good friend, prompted him to keep it up. it would be good for him to as it'll help get him recognized. slowly it became more than getting recognized, he enjoyed showcasing his art on tumblr and youtube rather than in a gallery. colan did two years (earning his associates) of college for his degree in fine arts before he took a break for a year.

as of now, colan is currently in college working to earn his bachelor's in fine arts. 

LIKES

; receiving hugs. now he doesn't vocally say this by you can see it in the way he lays his head on that person's head and how long the hug last. he's mostly likes receiving hugs from ppl he's close to.

TRIVIA :

001. he loves chill, unique songs. most of the singers he listens to are female and you can always find him playing haim and lana del ray all throughout the day. 

002.  when studying, colan likes to be alone. he doesn't do well with others around him when he's going over his notes or preparing for test (even if they are not making any noise). his headphones are usually over his ears and a coffee right next to him. 

003. only language besides korean and english colan speaks very well is, japanese. from highschool and on, he was either getting coached by his japanese friend or learning on his own time. his reason for learning is mostly due to his japanese friend. 

004. colan was already a pretty big guy due to all the heavy lifting he did back in washington but he got even bigger after joining the gym for stress relief. 

005. it started off with one tattoo but then eventually colan became addicted. his body is nearly filled up. his torso and his leg area has yet to be touched. and they probably won't be. he pretty satisfied with 

006. he still keeps in contact with his parents.  they still have a rather formal relationship with one another. 

007. even though he doesn't mean to further his whole "bad " imagine, he does own a motorcycle. his reason? "it's a lot cheaper than a car".

008. one of the reasons colan avoids parties is because of the last time he went to one.

; besides doing youtube, colan also has tumblr and his comics/webtoon series, and physical art sales as a source of income.

tumblr, @bear-sama. his name was originally colandraws but after entering college ren made him change it bc she felt he needed a little more spice.  it's where you'll find anything of his at. things like his comics, pictures of his non digital artwork, request, random digital pieces, reviews on art that was sent in by his blog watchers or youtube subscribers, and pictures of himself can be found on his tumblr. though, he rarely takes pictures of himself unless it's questioned by a fan on his tumblr. he updates his tumblr very often. 

youtube, @colan inks. also suggested by ren who felt it fit him because of all his tattoos. colan was going to just use his given name until ren suggested colan inks instead. on his youtube channel, colan updates twice a week. it's either two art pieces or one art piece and one vlog. you'll find tutorials, request, or just because drawings on there. he collabs with others, though not often.

DAY TO DAY SCHEDULE

7:30 sharp colan is up and showering. after he's done, which he will be by 8:00am (fully clothed and all), he checks for mail. if none, he grabs his laptop, brew some coffee and checks his emails. he spends no more than 25 minutes doing that (brewing coffee and checking his recent emails). so when he's finished it's around 8:35am. after he's done he makes a light breakfast (fruit salad), grabs his school supplies and heads out at 9:00am. he arrives at school at 9:21am.

his first class starts at 9:35am, he get's inside at 9:29am. for the remainder he checks his texts and replies to his friends. 

11:25am is when that first class ends. His next class starts at 11:30am and ends at 1:00pm. he heads to eat lunch before his next class which starts at 2:00pm and ends at 4pm. 

once he attends his last class he heads home, or meets up with ren. if he heads home he's finishing any assignments he has or filming a video then eating something around 8 or 9:00pm. 

10:00pm he's either in bed, editing a video, or hanging out friends.

things to note: he only has class on mondays and wednesdays. always makes up his bed after he get's out of it. does his chores after class if they need to be done.

im doing fine? but, interview? oh, is that so. no wonder jeffery was acting suspicious by telling me to come here today. alright, i guess i'll stay and apply then. 

GLAD TO HEAR THAT, COLAN. now onto business, what exactly do you do in the entertainment business? : 

anything with art, i do. well, minus sculpting.

Ahh.. i see. out of all the agencies, why #8 squad? we're not exactly very famous yet. : 

i didn't?  jeffery just said come to XXX(address) for something. i didn't know it was for an audition for his squad. i guess that's why im staying, because it's him. also, ren says i need more friends. she's getting stressed with being my only friend.

terrific answer. other than your fantastic career, what else can you provide for the team? can you cook, sew, etc...? : 

i can bake pretty well. so sweets? if that's what others like. heavy lifting as well. i used to work at a warehouse part time so im pretty handy.
