"did anyone stick out to you today?" the casting agent asks the director as he rubs the many wrinkles of his forehead.
"there was this one girl... i think she was one of the first people to come in today." he shuffles through the many headshots on their table, flipping through face after face of disappointments when he sees her. "this one."
"shim soojung, sir."
"soojung-ssi, huh?" he studies her portfolio, "she's definitely got the look. thin, pretty, natural-looking enough to be acknowledged and attractive enough to be on stage. her v-line and jaw are sharp enough to slice cheese. and her side profile! her nose is so tall. doesn't look that cute with short hair, though."

shim soojung stands at 168cm talls and 49kg, she is tall and slim with pale skin that is dewy and bouncy because of her intense skincare routine of only the highest quality products. her eyes are double-lidded, large, and upturned, giving her a coy and kitteninsh look. soojung always keeps her hair long, except when she has to wear a wig for a show, and keeps her shade range super natural. everything about her is natural except for her nose, which she got plastic surgery for as a high school graduation gift.

she wears her makeup light, usually with a light cushion foundation, eyeliner, sheer blush, natural brows, and a lip tint. she doesn't play around much with cosmetics and isn't good at any makeup other than her natural, everyday makeup look.

shim soojung is made from an old-time hollywood actress's tears, the pride of a lion, a cup of rose petals, and beaming highlight. she is the archetypical king of the jungle, the sun shining through green foilage. she is polite and upstanding with impeccable manners and grace. aware of what others think, she is careful to present her utmost best self to the world around her. though reserved in manner, her warmth radiates through her words and her gaze. soojung seems to always know what to say and do in order to win people over. caring and considerate, she makes people feel special and unique. she feels fulfilled by being able to assist other people, and if she sees a need she will step up and fill it to the best of her abilities. thoughtful, reflective, and observant, she is attuned to the emotions of others. while she takes a while to get close to people, once she opens up she will remain by their side for years to come. she cares deeply about people and will do all she can to make sure the wants of others are fulfilled before her own.

her pride is too great for her to ask for comfort, or to admit to her own faults. though it is fine to be proud of one's achievements, it is not enough for soojung to be elevated, she must also bring down other people. she seeks ways to improve her status constantly. a need for constant validation of her talents and appearance surges through her very core. she is strict about what she does, and how she looks, and who she is seen with because it is all reflective upon her. soojung often grows upset with people, but her desire to maintain a good image has her hiding her aggression behind a curtain of soft words and a pretty smile. she is catty, and often hurts people in very underhanded ways. meticulous, shim soojung never settles for anything less than perfection, which often sets her up for hurt and personal failure. she often feels disappointed and loathes herself when she cannot make herself proud, which is done by making others proud. and while the lion roars proudly, when alone she her wounds in isolation.
