standing at a height of 166cm and a weight of 56kg, jimin is only of average height and average weight. upon first meeting han jimin, most people would describe her looks as nerdy or dorky. think mia from the princess diaries. she has super frizzy hair and wears huge glasses that cover most of her face. surprisingly, jimin has a super curvaceous body and legs that appear longer than they are. also, with huge almond eyes and pretty pale pink lips, jimin has great potential to look like an amazing goddess but she hides it all beneath the surface.

STYLE ♡ 
to maintain a low profile, jimin typically dresses really plain. she avoids anything flashy, shorts, skirts and dresses. you would usually see her in baggy tees and pants. the only time she would wear shorts are when she's going to sleep. the only time she wears dresses is when her mother forces her to. even then, she wears those ugly, baggy and totally unflattering dresses. she loves seeing pretty clothes and seiing people dress up. jimin just doesn't have the confidence to pull it off.

let's begin with the bad then. jimin is very trusting of others which is how she constantly gets her feelings hurt. she needs people to protect her. she's lived a sheltered life and can't tell truth from lie. say it nicely then say she's trusting but say it badly then say she's naive and gullible. jimin knows she needs to change this but it's easier said than done. even as a child, jimin has always been insecure. but after everything she's been through, it's made her even more insecure than she already is. she knows she's not the best looking person out there but she feels like even if she did change, she woud still be ugly so why change? everyone already thinks she's ugly and a dork. adding on to those, jimin has changed and become a cynical person. it may seem clashing that she is both trusting yet cynical of life. yes, she is very trusting but that trust has led to bad thing which leads to the cynical. she tries not trust as much and instead to close herself up. she would rather lock everyone out than rather let someone in again and break her heart once again. jimin is also quite timid. like mentioned before, when faced with troubles or when people confronts her, she won't and can't fight for herself. in her argument, she thinks that she doesn't want trouble and would avoid it if possible. both her parents and jinhee have scolded her on more than once occasion, saying that she should learn to stand up for herself which she ignores. like i said, her initial mechanism is to hide away. furthermore, jimin has an active imagination but not in a good way. she fears the thoughts of people around her. whenever she goes out, she feels like people are staring at her or talking about her. it's come to a point where it's almost paranoia but she tries to think positive which helps. not a lot but it helps.

miss han jimin is full of creative juices. she is born as an arts student and will die as an artist. her art is writing and it is her passion. she is good at it and she knows it. only she doesn't brag about it. ever since her home tutor recommended writing to her, she took to it like a duck to water. even while doing her degree, many of her professors has praised her writing. jimin can also be cute albeit unconciously. she doesn't realise it but she acts cute a lot. crinkling her nose, pouting, small shy smiles, it all adds to her cute charm. you just need to look beneath the dirt to find it. 

jimin is an honest young lady. she doesn't know how to lie. if you ask for her opinion, she will tell you outright exactly what she thinks. now, this can be a plus or a minus. honesty is the best policy but it isn't always the best for some people. they might say they want to hear the truth but they don't mean it. jimin can't tell the difference though so she might unconciously offend people. in her opinions though, her honesty is a good thing. oh well, that's what jinhee says. having grown up being alone a lot as well as being a naturally quiet person, jimin is quite observant to her surroundings. she sees things people doesn't. she looks at people. whenever people are upset, she can tell. whenever people have something good going on for them,she can tell. as a quiet young lady, jimin can be surprisingly observant. people might think just because she's quiet that she's not paying attention or day dreaming but she notices everything around her. jimin can be pretty observant when the time calls for it. she sees things others don't. she can tell when someone is hiding something but she never forces them to tell her. seeing as jimin is an antisocial type of person, when going out, she rarely talks and tend to listen to the others more. when doing so, she actually listens and sees their actions. so when people just take for granted what another has said, she reads between the lines and sees the true meaning of those words. not only that, she is also observant to her surroundings and the things that happens around her. she believes in not judging a book by its cover and that everything happens for a reason. once you get to know jimin better, you will get to know that jimin is in fact quite lovable. she's very caring to the people around her. she treats them with an honest heart and honest mind, even if she is afraid of being hurt again. moreover, it may not come as a surprise but jimin is patient. she doesn't get angry easily and is always fine with waiting. if she orders something, they forget her and skip to the next person, she doesn't fuss and just keeps waiting till someone eventually remembers. yes she's a pushover but to her, her patience is a good thing. in addition to those mentioned, most people would regard jimin's cynicism as pessimistic but in her opinion, she isn't pessimistic. she is realistic. she doesn't dream about impossibilities and only believes in possibilities.

PAST ♡
han jimin, daughter of han sangwoo and wu huimin, entered this world on the first of july in nineteen ninety-two. she is the first and only child so both parents give her almost everything she wants. jimin's parents are quite rich. they are the owners of a big cosmetics company, etude house. with her parents being owners of a big company, they were always busy and rarely had time to spend with her. during her childhood years, she was raised by the family maid, hwang jinhee. daughter of a korean and chinese but born and bred in south korea. her family does frequently travel to china to visit her maternal family.

due to the frequent travels and absent parents, jimin mostly spent her time at home and rarely had the chance to socialise.  the fact that she was home-schooled made things worse. but then all of a sudden, jimin was told that she should go to a real high school to make friends. hearing this news from her parents, jimin became anxious, nervous and fearful. she didn't know how to dress up or use makeup since it was never needed at home. but jinhee told her she would be fine and jinhee mostly taught her about inner beauty. so jimin thought her looks would be fine and didn't change. but we all know high school kids think differently. so when jimin entered high school, not a lot of people liked her. one girl, jung soomin, became her only friend. jimin became reliant on soomin especially in social situations. she met a lot of people and even had a guy profess an interest in her. jimin truly believed she was fitting in. she began falling for him and was finally happy.

but oh how wrong she was. turns out, jung soomin knew jimin was the daughter of etude house owners and only wanted to get close to her for benefits. she got her own friends to help cheat jimin, including the guy who supposedly liked her. this play went on for a few years. over the years, jimin paid for a lot of their outings and gave freebies to soomin and her friends. she treated them with sincerity but recieived only fakeness. in jimin's 2nd year of high school, she went to the library to pick up a book for her 'boyfriend' and found him making out with soomin. as she was about to confront them, she heard them start a conversation about her. they talked about how jimin was stupid and gullible and believed everything they told her. in shock and in tears, jimin ran off and hid for the rest of the day. when soomin searched for her and pretended to be concerned, jimin finally asked her and soomin just laughed at her.
'you really thought we were friends? please, i wouldn't be caught dead near something like you. look at yourself. if it wasn't for the fact that you're the daughter of etude house, no one would ever talk to you cackles evilly'

that day, jimin went home in tears. she called her parents and begged them to let her stay home forever. they were confused and flew home. they tried asking what was wrong but jimin refused to tell. even jinhee couldn't get her to talk. seeing her state, they agreed to let her pull out of high school and continue home schooling. ever since that day, jimin never left the house again. she became a hermit. she hated socialising and hated people. whenever her parents and jinhee made her leave the house, she would feel like everyone were pointing their fingers at her. because of this, jimin's parents visited home more frequently and became more involved in their daughter's life. they even got her a psychologist to talk things through but she never wanted to bring up that painful memory again. whenever her mother talked about dressing up and looking nicer, jimin would refuse.

instead, she wrote. she wrote to get her feelings out. she wrote to release her stress. it became her only happiness and her only outlet. jimin wrote diaries, stories, poems and basically any kind of creative writing. her home tutor was impressed at how well she wrote and conveyed her feelings using words. her home tutor recommended she take creative writing as a major and jimin did. she applied successfully to the seoul national university's art's department. jimin was officially a creative writing student. but unlike most university students, she chose to do her classes online so that she could avoid people. as of last year, jimin is officially a graduate of seoul national university's udergraduate program and is currently pursuing her masters degree in creative writing.

PRESENT ♡
jimin has finished her undergraduate degree and is currently working as a writer. she does freelance writing for a newspaper and deals with the editor online. she chose to do this job since she could avoid meeting people. most jobs like this wouldn't hire her and only hire those they could see and trust. but her parents helped pull some strings and got her this job. it was a blow to her pride but jimin couldn't do anything else about it. she hopes to one day get a writing job based on her own merits. in her free time, jimin writes her own things. as for the share house, jimin was forced by her parents to move there because they were worried that she constantly locked herself in the house. they knew about the house through yeji's parents who are their friends. the basically threatened her into moving out, saying that if she doesn't, they will fire jinhee and get her fired from her job (all empty threats but jimin doesn't know that)

jimin is a hermit. she doesn't leave the house if possible. her daily schedule is pretty set from week to week. she wakes up at 8am everyday and sleeps by 2am. she works at her own time and pace but has deadlines as well so if her deadline is coming up and she hasn't finished her work, she would probably be up all night. living at the share house, she tries to help clean a lot since she's the one at home most frequently. she does it once a week, on weekends. as for groceries, jimin can't cook and waits for the others. every fortnight, jimin would go to the nearby grocery store to replenish her coffee stash and buy snacks. jimin also writes her own things in her free time whenever she feels like it. other than writing and eating and sleeping, you can find jimin reading or chatting with online friends. it's not that jimin can't socialise completely, she just finds it hard to do it face to face, especially with a face like hers.

son hyunwoo was born on the 18th of june 1992. the eldest son of a loving family, hyun woo has two younger brothers and a younger sister. his parents own a famous gukbap restaurant in seoul. since he was a child, hyunwoo has always been very active. he used to swim a lot and was even on the national swimming team. but he stopped due to an injury to his shoulder. his coach used to say that if it wasn't for his injury, he would have won a gold olympic medal. once he recovered, hyunwoo decided to take dance as a new activity. as it turns out, he was also very talented at this. as of now, son hyunwoo works as a choreographer and dance teacher at the famous 1million dance studio. in his free time, he volunteers at the animal shelter.

also, hyunwoo doesn't look at a lady's appearance and doesn't care too much about it. this was because back when he was an athlete, he dated this incredibly beautiful young lady. he even though it was true love and planned a future with her. who knew, once he was injured and had to retire, she broke up with him and started dating his ex-teammate.

jimin first met hyunwoo through yeji. once again, jimin was forced to leave the house especially since she had been about not knowing how to continue her romance novel. yeji decided to bring her to help volunteer at the animal shelter especially since they were lacking in volunteers. hyunwoo is also a volunteer and a longtime friend of yeji's. upon first meeting jimin, hyunwoo found her interesting. most of the girls he knows would dress up and out their appearances as the most important but this girl in front of him does not care at all about her looks. in fact, he found her quite adorable like that. yeji left her to pick up a phone call so hyunwoo takes charge and tries helping her out. jimin got so flustered and couldn't really replied to him so she mainly responded by nodding or shaking her head. he just found her even more adorable. after that day, hyunwoo would ask yeji a lot about jimin. yeji, sensing his attraction decides slowly to play matchmaker.

RELATIONSHIP ♡
jimin is very shy around him. she doesn't talk much. plus she has a hard time trusting that he may actually be interested in her for her after what happened back then. she fears letting people into her heart and breaking it yet again. hyunwoo on the other hand, wonders what this girl must've experienced in order to become so enclosed within herself. he does his best to break her armour. without realising it, jimin slowly lets him into her heart and his spot there has become irreplaceable.

the people around them find their relationship interesting. the girls around hyunwoo hates jimin with a passion. a lot of those girls have secret crushes on him especially his students but upon meeting the girl who supposedly captured his heart, they find jimin unmatching to hyunwoo. she doesn't fit him. he's too good for her. she hears it and it only confirms her thoughts and builds up the insecurities. hyunwoo does his best to show her inner beauty. once jimin slowly builds her confidence, the other girls in the share house decide to give her a makeover. after, everyone and i mean everyone was shocked by her true looks.
