I really envy BTS and their friendship bond. The type of bond and closeness they have, it's like family and you can see and feel that the feelings are genuine. They're not faking it for the camera, you can tell they care for each other. You can see them pick up each other's little habits, like Jungkook starting to run his fingers through his hair like Jimin, or Namjoon starting to throw kisses at the camera like Jin. Even Hobie starts to sound like Jin when he laughs now. Sometimes the hyung line with subconsciously have the same pose or gestures, and the maknae line will have the same reactions. 

My friend group, my "crew" as I call it, we used to have that type of bond. But of course, in our group of 6, with both girls and guys, things are bound to change. And that kinda hurts. The feeling you get when you find out you don't mean as much as you thought you did to someone. I remember when our crew formed. It's been almost 2 years and I remember that one night when we all shared our past and life story. Listening to everyone tell their own story made us closer to one another and I thought that only our group knew of each other's stories. Recently, I found out that it wasn't like that and many other people knew about some certain people's life stories and those people were in my crew. Slowly, but gradually, I can see our bond and connection diminishing away. I hate that feeling that we're all drifting but we can't do anything about it. We try and all meet up, but it never works out. Although we see each other at school, most of us don't have classes together. Of course, in my crew, it's not like we're all super close to one another, and of course, some of us have resentment towards each other. In a group like this, there are bound to be some people closer to others and distant from the rest.

This is why I envy BTS and their relationships. Obviously sometimes you see the maknae line and hyung line being separate but you can see that even if they were separated with different members, they wouldn't be awkward. For example, in the Bon Voyage episodes, you could see the different teams and how they managed to still reach their destination and communicate with one another. Their teamwork and chemistry is no joke XD. The way they share everything, like food, their clothes or even sleeping in each others beds (LOL especially Hobie’s >.<) and them feeding each other, the connections are real. I think the reason why they’re so loved by armies all around the world is because they’re all true to one another and us (to an extent because they have private lives too), as their fans. They never hesitate to thank us or remember us when they achieve something or win an award. The first word that comes out of their mouths is “Army!” BTS is not like any other idol group (well they kinda remind me of BIGBANG with their success story and friendships), some friendships might be fake and only a work/colleague relationship, but those 7 dorks I found myself to love are honestly down to earth people who also care for one another even in the most subtle ways. When V was lost, all the members were concerned and waited for him. Of course, they literally spend most of their lives together, sharing a dorm, performing on stage and seeing each other every day. Their friendship is genuine and real and they honestly do love each other and value each other very much. BTS is not BTS with a member missing. I hope that never changes, but I'm confident that even when they start their own families, they'll still keep in contact with each other and be the 7 dorks we love and care about. I hope my crew can be the same. <3
