Personality

Background 

Song Haneul, born in Busan, South Korea to Song Hyunseok and Song Mi-ran. An only child of a middle-class family. She grew up knowing how to sing along to mostly any song, because her father is a singer and the vocal trainer of famous idols such as 2ne1, Girl's Generation and Super Junior. Unfortunately, he died because of a motorcycle accident when Haneul was just 9 years old. It left Haneul with only her mother to lean on and trust. Since then Haneul would always be up her room, all by herself she will sing and cover songs from idol groups and memorize their lyrics through various videos on Youtube, she wanted to make her father's dream come true of her becoming a well-known singer in the kpop industry. She tried auditioning when she was 14 on SM and YG, but sadly didn't got in.

Her mother, on the other hand, would be baking on her bakery shop all day long to get her head out of the thought that her husband is no longer with her. One fortunate event happened when she met a handsome businessman named Kristoff, he came by one afternoon and tried chatting with Haneul's mom, she found him funny and sweet. He would come by every Saturday since then. Obviously, they have a thing for each other and got together when Haneul was 16 years old. They decided to move to the US to settle there and forget about the bad memories in South Korea.

Haneul and Kristoff never had a proper talk with each other since Haneul's mother introduced them to one another. Haneul was distant because she doesn't know Kristoff that well at that time and no one could replace her father that easily. As years pass by, they grew accustomed with each other and Haneul now thinks of Kristoff as her father, but still doesn't forget her real father of course. Kristoff is a CEO of a commercial company and often gives Haneul roles in his commercials. Haneul thought why not try to audition again since she believes she is ready.

Haneul went back to Korea once she decided to audition, Haneul was 19 years old at that time. Her mother and Kristoff chose to stay in the US because of their businesses, Haneul's mother has a bakery in the US while Kristoff was busy with his company. Haneul currently lives in an apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
