PERSONALITY : She is always enthusiastic, care-free, and upbeat. With her bright, energetic and strong personality, she endures tough challenges & trials and in fact stands up to what she believes in. BACKGROUND : Sarang is the only child of Woo Sang and Woo Miran. Sadly, her mother died while giving birth to her. Ever since birth, her father was cruel to her because he blames her for the death of his wife. Although having a hard time with her father's cruelty, she can't help but work hard to impress him. She's hoping and praying that her father will love her someday. She works hard to earn that love whether it be at schoolwork or housework. She will never give up until her father finally have the heart to treat her as his daughter. This highly influenced Sarang to be a perfectionist and a workaholic.
When she told her father she wanted to audition for a company, he yelled at her and told her she will never be an idol because idols do not murder their mothers and that she doesn't have anything to be proud of. This made Sarang feel down and depressed. Since she was born, she always feel lonely and cries in her room everytime her father yells or scolds her. She never show this side of her to her friends because she doesn't want anyone to pity her.
Secretly after school, Sarang auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment and got in. She doesn't know how to tell it to her father but eventually she did and was thrown out of their house. Her father told her to leave and never come back. And that is what she did. She never came back to their house ever since and is now living in the dorm with other Big Hit trainees.
Big Hit Ent's CEO knows about Sarang's situation and agreed to give her a room at their dorm for free. Sarang has trained under Big Hit Ent for 3 years and 4 months before joining Rounder. She watched lots of survival shows like YG's Who Is Next and SIXTEEN, so she was excited when she found out she was picked to be a representative of her company to be in Rounder.

Why did you deCided to join this show? or why your company DEcided to send you here? :
▸ I am currently preparing for debut actually, but Bang Sihyuk sunbaenim /looks at camera intensely/ chose to send me here as an exposure and to assure if I am really ready to debut. And somehow I want to challenge myself as well so I'm glad I'm here. /chuckles/
Why you think you will be in final line up?:
▸ I have faith in myself in everything I do. My voice can reach high notes perfectly which is just one of my strengths. And I think that will really help me to be one of girls who will be in the final line up. Hopefully, the judges won't be disappointed at me. Fighting !
Please explain your inspiration and wish to become an artist :
▸ /suddenly stopped smiling/ Actually /coughs and almost teary eyed/ my inspiration is my father. He is very mad at me because my mother died while giving birth to me. /a tear falls from her left eyes/ I'm sorry.... Appa ! /sobs/ It's me, Sarang, I know you don't want to see me or hear me sing but I just want you to know that no matter what happens you will always be my father and I love you. Appa Saranghae. /does heart with hands over her head and wipes tears/ My wish is to be noticed not just my dad but by everybody else. I want to hear them say 'Wow, she can sing' or 'She is so good at singing that song'. Hopefully someday I will hear those words. I want my father to be proud of me as well and say 'That is my daughter and I'm proud of her'.
Did you get any past experience in entertainment industries? :
▸ I didn't have any past experiences in entertainment agencies besides being accepted in Big Hit Ent.
Did YOU KNOW FROM your COMPANY THAT THE FINAL LINE UP OF THIS PROJECT WILL have 2 PHASES? 1ST IS that THE FINAL LINE UP WILL ALL DEBUT AS A GROUP AND DO ACTIVITies FOR a YEAR AND FOR THE 2ND PHASE, THEre would be Another YEAR of activities for THE FINAL LINE UP members WHOse companies DIDN'T SET them AS a part of THEIR NEW GIRL GROUP. WHAT DO YOU THINK? :
▸ Yeah, I knew about that. And I think it's a good idea for those who still don't have any plans or activities for the next year. I'm not sure though if my company will let me continue for the 2nd phase or not if I were to be chosen.
Does big hit ALREADY have PLANs FOR woo sarang? CAUSE THE PROGRAM STAFF ALREADY Told YOU THAT WE will have 2 PHASES FOR THE FINAL LINE UP. :
▸ Annyeonghaseyo~ /bows and laughs/ My answer to your question is yes, we currently do have plans for her. Actually, Sarang is already preparing to debut for our upcoming girl group when we told her that she and her fellow trainees will join Rounder. Our minds might change though, it depends on what will happen during the course of the competition. We might allow her to continue until the 2nd phase if we suddenly feel like so. We'll never know. /laughs/
