— Jinho as seen as other people, is very reserved, quiet, and hates any sort of human interaction. He likes to keep to himself, avoid conversation and live peacefully. He won't speak to people unless it's absolutely necessary, and even then he tries to use as little words as possible. It's not that he's shy. No. In fact, Jinho is never shy. It's just that talking to people means eventually listening to their problems and dealing with their , and he's really not into listening to others. Why you ask? Because Jinho doesn't care that's why. The only people who he cares to listen to is his loved ones. Otherwise, he's just tuning you out. The boy is also very critical about practically everything. He doesn't know why, but he always likes to point out the faults in everything with extremely sarcastic comments. Again, why you ask? Because he's kinda' an and it's fun so why not? He's especially critical and sarcatic with the president of the committee because they're the most hot headed. Yeah, he's a bit sadisitc. 

Though Jinho is very quiet and keeps to himself most of the time, he has this whole other side of him that's a lot more playful and almost childish. He just needs the right person to bring it out. Though he doesn't show it, Jinho is playful and likes to have fun. On contrary to what most people think, he's not someone who hates everything joyous in the world. In fact he loves playing games. No matter if its children games, or just making lighthearted jokes that are filled to the brim with sarcasm. Though Jinho doesn't like to speak out much, when he's asked about his opinion, he'll be frank. He doesn't beat around the bush, nor does he sugar coat it. If he disagrees with something he'll say it. If he agrees, he'll nod along in agreement. He's direct, sometimes even blunt. He never intends to hurt people, but if they do get hurt, he doesn't really care. He's just being honest. It's their fault if they can't handle the truth. He's philosophy is tough love. 

Although Jinho acts like he doesn't care for others, (which he doesn't for most people to be honest) for the people close to him, he cherishes. He's loyal to them and will have their back no matter what. He'll actually get off his lazy to help them out. He's very selfless in that sense. He actually tries his best to put the needs of his loved ones before his own.  Have you heard of the term "It's the quiet ones that think the most?" Well this definitely applies to Jinho. He's always thinking, whether it's observing others, or figuring out how to get out of a conversation. He's a very clever kid, so he knows how to get himself out of sticky or unwanted situations. Not only that, but he's also a fast learner and is quick to catch onto things, so people can never really trick him. Creativity comes easily for him since he is a writer. He's very imaginative and likes to lose himself in fantasy since it's much more interesting than his real life. He loves writing and and reading novels. He dreams of becoming a world famous author. Mystery, fantasy and even a little bit of romance are his favourites. No one would expect such a sensitive side of him, but it's there! So because of his extensive reading vocabulary and his skill of getting out of situations, he can easily manipulate and trick people. Because of this trait he's in charge of negotiations and convincing, though Jinho likes to call this "conning and tricking" because A, it's the truth and B, it sounds cooler. 

It was touched upon that Jinho is not a very shy person; it's just that he doesn't want to deal with people. In fact, the kid has guts. He's very brave, and won't be afraid to stand up for himself and his loved ones when he needs to. He's not easy to scare and has tough skin. He's not easily shaken, both by words and physical fights. He may not be the strongest, but he can throw a punch. Speaking of which, it's not the best idea to fight him. He's doesn't like to be controlled and being told what to do. It's his life. He'll live it however he wants to. He's usually cool headed, but once he's angry or upset (once again, you really don't want that to happpen), he gets impulsive and won't think about his actions or the consequences of them.

Plotline Secretary - seemingly sane, but just as crazy

—  Jinho is a regular city guy. Born and bred in the heart of Korea, Seoul. He's an only child to a very...strange couple to put it nicely. His mother is basically dedicated to embarrassing Jinho in every situation ever, while his father has an endless amount of bad dad jokes tucked always in his head and while he is calmer than his wife, he's still manages to be crazy. They’re prefect for each other. Sometimes, Jinho is surprised he turned out the way he did. He's all quiet, while his parents are the loudest people ever. Because of their endless energy, Jinho went to a lot of trips, or "adventures" as his parents like to call them, as a kid. They would go to the beach, go camping, visit and tour other cities within Korea, go bungee jumping, parasailing. You name it, and the Han family has probably done it. Jinho always liked these trips, even though he always acted like he hated them. It gave him a chance to bond with his parents, and as result, he’s extremely close to both of them. If someone insults his parents he’ll probably hurt that person. The only person allowed to insult them is Jinho himself.

As Jinho got older, he likes staying in more often to read books. His parents never minded though. The whole point of those trips was to find something for Jinho that he loves doing. Jinho found his love of books after visiting “The National Library of Korea” at the age of six.  From then on, he started his extensive book collection. His love for books escalated so much that his mother started calling him “Belle” as in Belle from Beauty and the Beast. He, of course, hates the name.  Jinho’s school life wasn’t very eventful. He didn’t make many friends due to his very closed off personality, but the few he did manage to make, his parents made sure to pull out the baby pictures and completely embarrass Jinho on their first visit to Jinho’s house.  Needless to say, those friends loved his parents. Honestly, Jinho thinks some of the friends he made only stayed friends with him because they loved his parents. It’s hard not love them though. They’re what you would call the “cool parents.” Socially, Jinho was practically non-existent. He didn’t mind that though, less bull to deal with. He always took care of his grades to be able to enter a good university. The only class he really cared about was creative writing and anything that had to do with books. His dream was always to become an author.

Jinho did get his fair share of bullying around the sixth grade, at eleven years old. Kids picked on him because he was so quiet and would always read books instead of socializing. Jinho never let it get to him though. Eventually they left him alone. Again, his school life wasn’t that eventful. Teachers liked him because he did so well in school. He always hated doing presentation though. Going up in front of a class and talking to them about things they probably don’t care about? No. He liked working alone and liked doing essays. Perfect way of improving his writing.

Jinho entered Seoul International Academy when he entered high school. His parents thought that it’d be good for him since the school is so diverse. When Jinho entered high school, he took a specialized creative writing class. Basically it’s an advanced class for creative writing. Of course he quickly became the top student in the class.  He’s very close to his teacher, and his teacher recommended for Jinho to join some sort of club or organization the school. Jinho initially didn’t want to, but his parents and his best friend encouraged him to do so as well. Jinho eventually gave in and decided to join the Disciplinary Committee because he thought he wouldn’t do that much. Just report people breaking school rules to the president. Easy. Wow he was so wrong on many levels. After joining he found out how truly crazy the group was. Crazier than his parents, if that’s even possible.  He wanted to get out, but it’s like once you’re in, you get into it. It’s a place of no return. Surprisingly, he got along with the students in the committee. He especially enjoyed teasing and torturing the president since she’s easy to rile up and her reactions are hilarious. Eventually, he became one of the pillars of the committee, and he actually liked his position there. Manipulating people? Hell yeah. Though the committee likes to use “convincing” and “negotiating”, Jinho calls bull on that. Now he’s in his fourth year, and although he’s excited to work on his book, enter university and leave high school, he’s also upset about leaving the committee. Not that he will ever admit to that of course.

— Father • Han Jinseok / 38 / Realtor / Cheesy, Out-Going, Stubborn, Witty, Open-Minded, Carefree, Level Headed   / Jinseok is always spewing dad jokes left and right and Jinho is 99% he might actually start to go crazy from it. Jinseok is a lot calmer than his wife, and Jinho appreciates him for that. He's very level head and Jinho knows that if he ever needs back up or help with anything, he can count on his father. His dad is usually less strict on Jinho than his mother is. He's usually the one who gives him money for him to buy useless stuff and always backs him up when Jinho does buy useless stuff. They're partners in crime and enjoy teasing Hyemin when she's not teasing them. 

— Mother • Han Hyemin / 36 / Music Teacher / Energetic, Bubbly, Strong-Willed, Clever, Sarcastic / Hyemin's life goal is to embarrass her son in every situation ever. She loves teasing him and constantly shows him affection by peppering him with kisses and showering him in hugs just to annoy him. She loves him, but he's a hard- and he needs to loosen up. She always somehow tricks him into doing some chore. No matter how good Jinho is with words, Hyemin will always be better. Mama knows best (real quote from her). She's a little more strict on him with how he spends his money and where he goes at night, but not overly strict. Oh yeah, and if she ever sees him with a girl, she'll automatically think she's the girlfriend and cue the embarrassment once again please, and thank you. 
— Creative Writing Teacher • Yoo Ji Han / 43 / Writing Teacher / Calm, Intelligent, Clever, Witty, Sarcastic, Stubborn, Open Minded, Selfless, Fair, Understanding / Probably the only normal adult in Jinho's life, Ji Han is someone who Jinho can rely on when he doesn't want to burden his parents with something. He goes to him for help for book recommendations, helps with his classes, university problems and occasional girl problems (see love interest area). Ji Han is basically Jinho's rock. He can always rely on him no matter what. Jinho is his favourite student, but only Jinho knows that. 


— Best Friend • Jackson Wang / age / 4th Year Student / Energetic, Funny, Out Going, Slow, Blunt, Honest, Loyal / Jinho would probably never be friends with this dude if he never stuck up for him when Jinho was getting picked on in the fifth grade for being so quiet and reserved. Jackson stuck to him like glue and became his so-called "guardian angel" as said by Jackson. Jackson is the only friend that's ever actually stuck with Jinho. Every other friend he's had he lost touch with. They're complete opposites and sometimes Jinho wants to just punch him with a brick, but he loves him at the end of the day. They're like brothers really. They can always lean on each other no matter what. They're so close that they have the key to each other's house. They're even close to each other's parents. Although they have different hobbies (like Jackson loves sports and Jinho loathes them) they still get along. Sometimes people confuse them from one another even if they don't look alike what so ever. It's just that the two are together so much, people just accidently confuse them. Jackson also tends to be a little touchy with him since that's his personality. Jinho is used to this so he doesn't mind. But during second year, someone started a rumour that they were a gay couple. Jackson thought this was hilarious and purposely called him "honey" and "darling" all the time in public, Jinho wanted to throw up at the thought. By third year the rumour died down, but some people think that he's actually gay.
