    _______________

Personality Traits
+ strategic, hard working, confident, daring, imaginative
= sarcastic, sassy, out spoken, dramatic
- arrogant, moody, impatient, unforgiving, strong-willed

Personality
Joo is one of those confident girls that isn't afraid to put herself out there and be in the spotlight. She's very confident in herself, and even if she does tend to feel insecure, she won't show it and will keep her head held high just to give the allusion that she's alright. Joo only wants people to see her as she wants them to see her. She hates feeling weak and vulnerable. Loosing is not an option for Joo, and it's either her way or the high way. Joo is very strong willed, so once she makes up her mind about something, it's very hard to change it. She's very arrogant of herself and her decisions, and although it can be quite annoying sometimes, people sill go with it because an angry Joo is something people don't want to see. When she's angry or upset, she completely blows up. Angry equals tantrums, complaining, and sometimes physical fights. Sad equals full blown tsunami of tears, and locking herself in her room and going on a hunger strike. The girl is very dramatic and over exaggerates basically everything. Like, she could get a paper cut and act like she's dying.

Amongst the people that know her. Joo is famous for being super sassy and sarcastic. Basically every other sentence coming out of is sarcasm. It can be quite amusing for the people around her. Joo also says the truth at all times, making her very out spoken. When she feels like she needs to say something she will, and she never sugar coats anything. Ask her if you look fat in a dress, and if she thinks you do, she'll say yes right away. However, she never means to upset you (unless you ever upset her, then prepare for the rage).

On to the positives, Joo is very hard working. Most people think she's lazy due to her diva like personality, but the girl likes to work to get respect from others. She hates stuff being handed to her right away, and she likes to earn trust from others instead of just gaining it without reason. Once she puts her mind to something she'll always finish it no matter what. She'll never just give her 95% best effort. No way in hell. She'll go all the way through or else she won't be satisfied. She's also very daring, being willing to try risky or dangerous things. Her mindset is "Live without regrets!" ....well that and she doesn't want to look like a wuss. Along with her daringness, she's also very imaginative, often found day dreaming. She's the one always coming up with new ideas of what to do and how to do it. She loves change and absolutely hates being stuck in the same place all the time. Joo is super impatient with people and loathes waiting. She always has to have something to do at all times or else she'll get annoyed and frustrated. However she's a bit of a hypocrite with this since she makes people wait for her all the time, because she always must look her best! (give her a break, she is...well was an idol and that's how she lives.)

It's well known that you should not get on Joo's bad side. Once you did something to piss her off, she'll hold that against you for a very long time. She knows how to hold grudges and is very unforgiving of people. Because of her experience with trust and backstabbing, she can be quite cynical and she doesn't give her trust out very easily. But once you fully gained her trust, and then you break that, she'll never forgive you. Ever. However, to the people that she trusts and people that she knows won't cross her, she cares for deeply. She makes sure that her loved ones are always protected. She can't express her feelings very well, but through little things like getting her loved ones some food, or fixing their clothes, she shows the people she loves that she cares about them.

To conclude, Joo is kind of like a diva with some trust issues. Although she has a lot of bad sides to her, she always mostly means well. Joo is generally a nice person. I mean, even if she doesn't know you, she'll wave to you and say hi with a smile and try to talk to be friendly, however most people find it hard to get close to her because of her intimidating attitude and aura. Just don't get on her bad side. Because once you do, she'll make sure to let all hell break loose into your life.

Background
Joo had a pretty simple childhood. She grew up in the city of Seoul, South Korea to a lovely couple as an only child. Pretty typical. However, growing up she always got praised multiple times for her looks and beauty. Because of all this praising, Joo grew up slightly arrogant about herself. From a young age, Joo always liked music. Because of this, she took piano lessons and ballet lessons. After a lot of thinking, Joo decided that she wanted to become an idol.

So of course, Joo auditioned for multiple companies. When she was fifteen, she tried auditioning for SM and got in. Joo was so happy about it, and although the other mean trainees often said that Joo only got in for her looks, she ignored them and kept training. Her vocals were pretty good and she was great at dancing, so she debuted after two years of training at the age of seventeen with a four membered girl group named "Royale." Her title in the group was the Visual and Lead Dancer. They instantly rose to fame since Royale had the looks and the talents and they were from SM Entertainment, the top entertainment company.

At first things were amazing for Joo. She had so many fans, she gained a lot of money quickly because of the huge fandom, multiple wins in small and big award shows, constant appearances in variety shows, quick comebacks, and various dramas and radio shows that the girls appeared in. The first two years we pure bliss for her. Individually, Joo had a huge fanbase since she was the visual and therefore appeared in various CF's, dramas and variety shows. She was kind of like the center of the group (even though there were only four members), and soon became the most popular member of Royale. She had the longest lines in fan meets, more comments about her in the music video's, more followers than the others on social media and because of this, she appeared in more events and programs. Joo loved the attention so much. However, she always felt like she only got the attention for her looks, which Joo wasn't satisfied with, so she always tried her best to work hard.

However, the other three were of course jealous. The four girls always got along very well since they had to live together, and Joo trusted all of them since she believed that they were all unbreakable, but when one get's the spotlight, the others will want in. It caused a lot of tension, fights, and arguments within the group. By this time Joo had doubts about becoming an idol. The spotlight shone too bright on her, and wherever she went, the press would follow. A personal life didn't exist for her, and she was always so tired. Schedule after schedule after schedule, and out of the four, she had the most. Popularity came with a cost. The other three grew even more jealous, and soon Joo felt excluded from the other three. She felt like they purposely excluded her. The three girls she trusted so much suddenly left her out, and would only be kind to her in front of the cameras. Even though she was the second oldest out of them all, they made her do all the chores, and bullied her. She even went as far as to direct the company, but they ignored her, told her to deal with it and leave it be. She tried telling her parents, but they wouldn't listen. They told her that she should just keep bringing in money. They were also blinded by the fame and fortune.

There has to be a breaking point. Joo finally had enough. The never ending schedules and practices, the harassment from her once trusted friends and members, and paparazzi always on her tail, even her parents got too wrapped up into the fame. Under all the stress and pressure, Joo just took off one night. She realized that she still had three years left and her company would never let her leave. Not after how much money she brought in. So she quietly packed all her things and left. She didn't know where she was going and how exactly she would pull off the runaway, but her stubbornness got the best of her, and she made her decision. She would leave, and never look back. Ever.

OC's P.O.V
The Runaway - What's idol life like? Why did you become an idol?

☣ "Well, it was amazing! Fame, fortune and attention! Until I got too popular. Ugh, I didn't know that being too popular would be bad."

Joo scoffed, crossed her legs and flipped her hair while leaning back before she started to speak again.

"Those es me and started bullying me.Wow, Jealous much? I trusted them, and they were my so called 'friends', but they easily just ganged up and shut me out. Also, the stupid paparazzi. Personal life? HA! I wish. They followed me around like lost puppies. Like, is their life so miserable that they would just rather stalk a person?"

The young woman slightly shook her head while rolling her eyes, clearly annoyed. "Honestly, I felt a little sorry for them at some point."

"Oh, and don't even get me started with the company. No dating, No eating junk food. Blah blah blah. I had little to no freedom and rest was a luxury. I'm either too thin or too skinny. So awful honestly. I trusted them all and they broke it."

The girl sighed a bit, running a hand through her hair before continuing once more.

"Why I became an idol? Well, I loved dancing. Nowadays I really hate it. After various practices and straining and using up all my energy, dancing isn't so fun anymore. Great. Thanks stupid idol life. Ugh. That and I also love music. It makes me feel relaxed. Plus, c'mon who doesn't want some fame huh?"

Joo smirked, looking at the interviewer. She then uncrossed her legs, leaned forward and looked into their eyes. "Can I go now? What the hell is up with this interview anyway?"

Why Did You Run That Night?
"It was kind of a spur in the moment kind of thing. Damn, I should of really thought it through. Usually I don't ever insult myself, but if I'm gonna be honest, it was a stupid idea to just take off like that. Like what if I got caught by the press or some crazy fans or something? Anyway, I was angry, felt betrayed, and honestly I was sick and tired of all the paparazzi and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate my fans, but like half of them only like me for my looks. Like I know I look like a goddess but can you not? Honestly. So I just packed up my things and ran away~ I really had no clue where I was going but I kept going until I couldn't recognize my surroundings. That was stupid idea number two. But, although it was all just impulsive, it felt great. For the first time in years I felt free. No one telling me what to do, where to go and how to act. FREEDOM! Well freedom for like an hour and a half or something until you dip douchebags had to kidnap me..."

Obtainment
"Okay, do you guys now how ing terrified I was? So I was just walking with my duffel bag after my amazing runaway. Mind you, I had no idea where I was....but I was glad I was away from the others. Anyway, suddenly I see two men in black suits charging towards me. So I ran, thinking it was the press. Well it wasn't. Since I was carrying bags it was harder for me to run, and they caught up and grabbed me. They fricking touched my precious body. Stupid idiots. I tried to get away and scream but they taped my mouth shut in a span of two seconds and they were so damn strong like Hulk or something. Like guys, you didn't have to be so harsh. Plus one of them threw me over their shoulder like a sack of potatoes or something. Like can't you have some respect and courtesy even when kidnapping people? Gosh, what a bunch of savages.

Anyway, yeah I thought I was gonna' die. That was all that was going through my head. Yeah, then everything went black. I think they either knocked me unconscious or chloroformed me....those bastards."

Reaction(s):
At first she was obviously scared as hell. But after crying and sobbing, she just became angry. She started throwing temper tantrums, yelling and kicking at anyone who came near her. She honestly was still terrified, but she put up an act to seem more brave. So yeah. There was a lot of angry screaming and shouting mostly consisting of "YOU STUPID DOUCHE BAG ES! DO YOU KNOW WHO THE HELL YOU'RE MESSING WITH? I WILL FREAKING GO ALL BRUCE LEE ON YOU!"

Ability: Telepathy
At first she was isolated. From everything. She was put in a room with no windows, no bed, no desk. Just a grey dull room with a single ligh tbulb and a locked, iron door. She was put in there for weeks. She would get a small meal three times a day. However, she didn't know that her food contained small amounts of special pills that were crushed in there. At first it was small doses and she didn't feel anything. Later she got huge doses of them. She could even see the white chunks in her food (she figured it was cheese or something...idiot). She would then experience horrible pain, sometimes even seizures. It felt like something was cutting open her head, taking out her brain, ripping it to pieces and placing it all back in.

She then started hearing voices. She then officially thought she was going crazy. They got louder, and more jumbled up and she would often sit in the corner, cover her ears and mumble "shut up, shut up" to herself.

One day, a man opened the little food window to her door and stared at her through it. She came closer, and she heard one, very clear voice. It was a man. She then figured out that she could read his mind.

Her other abilities that she doesn't really know of or she doesn't know how to control is getting into other people's heads and talking to them and being able to not only hear, but see other peoples' thought, feelings, and fears. She can basically gain so much knowledge by just looking at someone and concentrating.

Changes:
When she's in use of her powers, Joo's eyes glow a light shade of purple. Physically, she's gotten somewhat weaker after the containment since she didn't move around a  lot. However because she's a dancer, she's still flexible and has stamina. Personality wise, Joo didn't change too much. Her craving for attention became heightened due to her isolation from people. Now she likes being around people even more, and although the constant voices in her head drove her to the peak of insanity at some point, she got used to it.

Optional  Love Interest
Tears | Lips | Red | Fire
Name: Mark Yi-En Tuan     Group: GOT7

Personality Traits:
intelligent
-blunt
-arrogant
-lazy
-cynical
-sarcastic
-brave
-calm

Personality:
Mark is what you would call, a bad boy. He's very confident in himself and knows that he's good looking and popular among the ladies, making him arrogant. He's the type that goes through girls like candy, and never stays in a relationship for more than two days. He's a heart breaker, and he knows how to melt people's hearts. The reason he doesn't stay in relationships is because he's very cynical of people and love. He thinks that romance is way over rated and all he want to do is have fun. Mark is the type to say whatever, whenever without hesitation. He always speaks his thoughts without a care. He tries not to be serious and just tries to live life to the fullest while having fun. Now, Mark may not seem all that book smart, but he is. He's actually very intelligent, gifted with an amazing brain. Although Mark may not seem like it, he's very protective over the people he loves. He'll do anything for them and is loyal to the ones he truly cares about. Most people find it hard to approach Mark since he can be intimidating, but in all honesty, he isn't that bad. Sure he can be an sometimes, but he's a good guy. Think of him as a male version of Joo, just with a lot less drama, and a lot more calmness.

Interactions: Tom and Jerry anyone? They completely hate one another. They're pretty similar in personality, so it's even worse because they're both the type of people who would not get along with people like themselves. They're constantly bickering and arguing and fighting. Joo wants him dead most of the time, and she does whatever she can to piss him off. However, Mark doesn't even care. In his point of view, he finds it amusing to mess with Joo Hee and to piss her off. He thinks she's a spoiled brat that needs to learn that she's not the center of attention all the time. He always teases her, accusing her of being in love with him and obsessing over him. Although she admits that she might obsess a little, (you mean all the time) she says it's only because of the hate she has for him. However, they both find each other extremely attractive (lol they're never gonna' say it aloud though). Sometimes, without even realizing it, they check each other out. So yeah, there's some ual frustration going on there.

How Far Are You Willing To Go For Your Freedom?
"Honestly....I don't know. Right now I feel like I'd do anything, but let's face it. Death is not something I want. Nope. However, if I just stay here, isolated, tortured and locked from everything else then I might as well be dead, so what have I got to loose huh? I'm not an idol anymore, and because I didn't want to be one I ran away and ended up in this hell. Might as well carry on the runaway for freedom right? If you haven't heard, I always finish what I've started."

If not chosen, would you like your OC to be a side character?: Yes
Comments/Suggestions: I feel like the background is too long O.O I'M SORRY. It really doesn't seem like an essay to me but to you it might so e.e yeah. But trust me when I say I cut a lot of parts out to make it shorter. Like, a lot. OTL but yeah, hopefully you didn't die reading all that. Oh and for her members...I don't really find them all that important, so I didn't really make names and stuff. But if you feel like they are super important I just made up the names. You can do whatever the hell you want with them haha.
