Is quite tall and is dark-skinned than the other members , which is an asset he is proud of, because that way he can be easily distinguished among the group members. — What attracted most people to Nathan was his bright personality, he just has so much energy and it’s sort of contagious in a way that it makes you happy when you watch him. He’s definitely a wonderful friend who knows how to play and have fun with you, but at the same time he’s quick to rush to your side when you’re down.

For Nathan, the entire world is a stage. He loves to be the center of attention and perform for people. He's constantly putting on a show for others to entertain them and make them happy. He enjoys stimulating other people's senses, and is extremely good at it. He would love nothing more than for his life to be a continual party, in which he plays the role of the fun-loving host.

— Nathaniel Montri is the only child of Kiet Montri and ChimLin Montri. He was born in Chicago, USA when his parents were there for vacation. Although he was born in the US, he didn't really have any experience abroad since his parents flew back right after he was born. His name came from the doctor that helped his mother with his birth, which is an American citizen named Nathan Brown and the Niel part was from Niel Armstrong, because his parents thought it would be cool if he would be an astronaut someday.

In the contrary, Nathan's dream was far from being an astronaut, he wanted to be a rapper or a singer. Growing up, he would always sing at karaoke bars or rap on the street with a bunch of his friends for fun. Thankfully, his parents supported him with whatever he wanted to be. When he turned 17, his whole family flew to Seoul, South Korea. His first audition was for JYP Entertainment, since his dream is highly influenced by Nichkhun, who is a Thai member of 2PM under the said label. Nathan didn't pass the audition, yet he tried again, but for another company, which is the Hyun Entertainment, his audition piece was 2PM's I'll Be Back including the rap parts. Fortunately he got in and is now training under Hyun Entertainment.

— Anyone would say that Nathan had a hard time in his trainee life because he's a foreigner, but with the help of his bright and upbeat personality he overcame the language barrier and befriended almost everyone, including the staff members. He also tried hard in learning Korean through his trainee years and is currently planning to learn other languages such as Chinese and Japanese. At times, Nathan would even treat the staff and his group members for lunch or dinner. Sadly, his generosity was judged by the other trainees [not his group members] as a way of making himself look good for his own benefit. Nathan is a person who hates being judged, especially if he knows that he made the right choice, so it gave him a hard time ignoring them while training under the same label.

Beside that problem, everything was perfectly fine during Nathan's training. Nathan trains for 16 hours a day, from 6 am to 10 pm. His training is a combination of rap/vocal training, fitness training, dance practices and Korean language lessons.

— It started when Nathan and Sungah first met. Nathan couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Sungah, she looks like a living porcelain doll. He was attracted to her just by her looks at first, but it grew more when he started to know more about her.

Nathan is never shy, unless Sungah is around. To fight off his shyness, he sometimes teases Sungah unintentionally too much, which is always the root why Sungah is angry at him at times. Whenever this happens, Nathan finds a way of making it up to Sungah. But Sungah will always tell Nathan to step away from her, so Nathan came up with the idea of making a string phone by connecting two cups with a very long thread. He will throw the other cup to Sungah and with the help of it, he's away from her like she wanted to but is able to apologize and talk to her through it. Since then, they will always use the string phone whenever one of them is angry or lonely.

There is also a time where Sungah wanted the bag she saw the other day, but doesn't have enough money. Nathan plans to suprise Sungah on her upcoming birthday by giving her that bag. Unfortunately, the bag costs a lot than he thought. So day by day, Nathan tries to save up money, Bambam would say that Nathan can just borrow money from his father, but he chose not to because he wanted to work hard to prove to Sungah that he can save money and is not just some spoiled kid of a rich family. Nathan tries different things to pay for the bag, like selling his favorite guitar and eating vegetables, instead of his usually meal, because it costs less.

After Sungah's birthday, they went to the river near the Hyun Entertainment building and there Nathan confesses his love for Sungah, but Sungah just said that she was honored and ran away from him, leaving Nathan to think that she doesn't feel the same way about him; like this - link [change Tokyo to Thailand]
