woo wears anything that is comfortable and casual for him, and he avoids bright, flashy colours at all cost. majority of his clothes are hand-me-downs from his cousin, hence his clothing pieces often appear to be faded, either too big or too small and you know, full of lint balls. (but he still looks good nonetheless because his face and height completes his fashion oOps) his autumn clothes are usually of a darker or faded colours, that ranges from hoodies, sweaters and coats. he doesn't layer his clothes too much even when the weather is cold, since he loves the cold. however, he would always have a jacket or coat with him in his backpack.

min woo is a tough nut to crack. he is reserved and does not approach people first, sees the better side of everything, is very careful and notices everything. he is also that good student in class with good grades. yet, no one knows that he is filled with worries about everything - his family, his looks, the way he speaks and the list goes on. that's why he strives harder than anyone else to overcome them. woo is also a sharp-tongued individual so don't provoke him or you will get humiliated or the likes of.

woo starts his day at 5:00am, which then becomes 5:30am because of the countless 'i'll wake up in 5 more mins's that he promises himself. he takes a quick shower and a quick dump, then changes into his school uniform. he leaves his house at 6:30am, after checking his phone and eating a light breakfast. he takes a bus for five stops, then walking for around three minutes before reaching school. woo listens like the obedient student he is and is hardly distracted. during lunch time, he skips lunch entirely and goes straight for basketball practices. after school, he rushes home to change and then heads to his part-time job at a cafe nearby his home which provides free lunch/dinner/snack and then heads home at approximately 7:30pm.
the squad
go kiyeon woo recognises kiyeon, with her always watching the basketball practice during lunch almost daily. while she says 'hello!!' with a bright smile whenever she sees woo around the school, woo replies back with a curt smile. after becoming part of the ghost hunting squad, they have definitely become closer, with kiyeon being the one approaching him first. they often quarrel about the most useless of things, most of the time either about iu/ailee or just because woo unintentionally offended her with his words.

ahn hyogyu captain of basketball team, hyogyu and woo are pretty much acquainted with each other, yet aren't very close, since woo sticks really closely to his two friends. he thinks hyogyu is cool and very much good at what he's doing, given that he is already a captain in year two. through the ghost hunting squad, they've grown closer and talked more, though 85% of the time is woo teasing hyogyu about his love life.

— the student population in eden high thinks his family is wealthy or something since he came from gangnam. well, they used to, until their business went downhill and now they don't exactly have the luxury and wealth to be able to live in gangnam, hence moving to hoyang.
— he scrimps and saves for his family since he is very well-notified of the situation his family is saving. that's one of the reason why he picked up a part-time job (for extra bucks and free food) and does not eat during lunch though he does receive allowance.
— because of this, he lost weight from 73kg to a current 65kg and that's . .. you can do the maths yourself
— woo is his class' president and that smartass is always in the top 5 in his class.
— he transferred in the mid of year 1 which is 2.5 years ago.
— is myopic and wears contact lens most of the time since he is in basketball. however, he does occassionally where glasses (as seen in gifs from above).
— he has a red-black belt in taekwondo so fite him if you say he is just a nerd lol

— he takes a 5km run every saturday and sunday. he also does planks and situps while watching the television so that he does not get embarrassed when he wears his jearsey.
— because of his good looks and physique, he often gets looks and confessions from girls in the school but he rejects them. after his fervent followers found out that he works in the cafe, they have been visiting there every day if they can and that has pretty much helped the cafe's business. woo doesn't chase them away or anything when they come because he gets a pay rise haH
— he carries a black haversack/bag with him every single day other than when he is in school. inside consists of a swiss knife, a black pen, jacket, earpiece, mints, tissues, plasters, plastic bags and a waterbottle.

— keeps to himself a lot and is very much reserved, hence he does not have much friends. he is actually this ball of sunshine that has a sharp tongue when he actually warms up to you and he smiles very very often. the only close friends he has in school are those in basketball, which includes park hyungjun (fc: knk's kim jihun) and lee woohyun (fc: astro's cha eunwoo).

woo is at first, wary about maru because you know, ghosts and spirits don't exist, but grows to like him, even enjoying his company. they often banter with each other, with maru starting the whole thing by throwing shade at woo thinking that he can't hear him, but he shuts up every single time when woo calls him a "non-matter".
"mr. death told me to get some answers from you ters so answer truthfully...also i can tell if you're lying so don't try to on me" no he can't he's just tryna scare u
"why would i give you the answers you want", he shook his head disapprovingly at the ghost.
"why did you go into the house? also who did you go with if you went with anyone?"
"uh... i initially came with two other friends but they decided that horror wasn't their cup of tea and left me to enter the house by myself. i mean - i queued so long for this so why should i not go in?" he cracks his knuckles out of habit, while speaking.
"stop cracking your knuckles dude it's annoying unless you're saying that you are afraid of ghosts and are trying to distract yourself. because if so then ur gonna have to get used to me"
"i can crack my toes too, wanna' see?" he paused for a moment and was ready to start showcasing his special talent.
"that's gross, min woo"
"this shows how much i don't care about your existence that i'm actually doing this. so does that answer your question?" he lets out a rare laughter after looking at maru's reaction.
"are you a resident of this town or are you just visiting for this crappy carnival lol"
"a resident, of course. anD excuse you, attention-seeker, why are you still here when you call it 'crappy'?" he furrows his brows.
"attention-seeker?? that's the first time i've been called that." maru's eyes changes colours rapidly and the air arounds him becomes foggier, fuming.

"alright .. . then, what was your initial reaction to being chosen for this job? i mean i saw it, but i want to document this for the kids at home" maru snickers under his breath.
"confused, maybe? because everyone says that ghosts don't exist. but there's always the benefit of doubt so i was pretty sure my eyes and ears weren't tricking me when you say you're a ghost." woo nods.

"of course, i mean look at your disturbing soul-less eyes and flimsy body. totally a ghost. just that i think casper is a better looking ghost than you are." he remains a straight face while saying this.
"i'm way more good-looking than casper, don't talk shi —" maru's eyes became a glowing green and his entire translucent body fell limp, still floating in the air. a low, raspy voice escaped his throat— one that was obviously not his own. "just a quick question would any of u be interested in becoming the grim reaper? there's slim pickings for the reaper position and idk i think the job is quite okay—"
"ghost, you there?? or is there someone choking you? you sound awful." min woo raises an eyebrow, unsure of what is happening.
"okay thanks sorry for the excess of questions please sign ur name here and i'll take that as a yes to saving the planet from a sad emo ghost .... if u dont im just gonna knock u out and take some of ur blood"
"please feel honoured that i'm using my pen on something that's not going to be of any use to me." he takes out his black pen from his bag and signs on the paper.

"why would it be useful lmao" he speaks while walking off.

she would be the friendly, outgoing person that's like friends with everyone. she approaches woo first and woo brushed her off at first. but she's pretty persistent and woo soons grow to like her, as a platonic friend.
cliche enough, woo felt his heart stir whenever she talked and smiled to some other guys that isn't him. and that was when he knew that he had fallen in love with him yet he denies and doesn't show it because he is still a beginner in love and he doesn't knwo .

woo has never ever dated before and the closest he has ever been to the word 'love' with the opposite , is him towards ailee. but you know, miracles happen and he decides to man up and confess. either that or in a game of truth or dare, he picks 'truth' and got asked to confessed. hopefully he gets accepted because this poor can't take the rejection ... .
