PERSONALITY :　people describe jimin as someone who is the life of the party given the right situation. she's very adventurous and willing to do most things asked and can be found suggesting crazy ideas to do as well. jimin has a youthfulness that goes along with her short height which leads her to be mistaken for a younger age too often. being an actress, she had a tendecy to overreact to things and be generally over dramatic about everything. they could be out of milk and she'll treat it like she's about to die of dehydration. though she's adventurous, jimin can also be rather quiet which shocks a lot of people. instead of talking things out with people, she tends to try to solve things with herself internally. jimin can also be rather possessive of the people around her. but her problem is that she never confronts people about it and will merely try to link herself onto said person to remind them that she exists and very much cares for them. but that's only with friends. when it comes to any boy, she glares at the girl "trying to take her man" and hopes she telepathically picks up that they are unofficially official so why is she trying? jimin can also be rather forgetful but it's mostly her short term memory that is effected. she can memorize scripts and works well with pulling things from forever ago. But usually if you ask her to repeat something you just said, jimin wouldn't have a clue. she also tends to be rather impulsive and doesn't take much time to debate whether her ideas are good or not. one other thing about jimin is that she can be a tad niave. she wishes it weren't true but she believes just about anything anyone says. something that helps with this is that jimin is observant. so sometimes, though not always, she picks up on things like how the person she's talking to is acting or how her surroundings are and it helps. but most times, jimin is fairly gullible.

BACKGROUND :　Nam Jimin was born on July 18th, 1998 in Busan, South Korea. She lived there until she was five and then her parents went through a divorce and her dad was the one to get custody of her. They moved away out to Seoul where her grandma was living and stayed with her until her dad got back up on his feet. Jimin's relationship with her dad was a close one and she could tell him anything without worry. Which is why at a 10 she made it clear to her dad she wanted to be an actress when she grew up, nothing else. Her dad was a screenwriter and the few times she got to go to work with her dad, Jimin just fell in love with everything behind the scenes. But she knew her spot was there in front of the camera. Her dad took her to some acting classes and supported Jimin's dream 100%. So when she auditioned for Fantagio one year later and got in, her dad couldn't have been prouder of his little girl. 

Jimin hasn't talked to her mom ever since she moved out to Seoul. Her mom was the "cold hearted business" type of women and the fact she didn't want Jimin had never fully registered for her. But her dad makes sure to give her twice the love to make up for only having one parent and his love is good enough for Jimin; therefor she does her best not dwell on her mom.

▸ jimin spent her first few years working more on enhancing her skills as an actress. when it comes to scripts and learning lines jimin is great but her improve skills have always been lacking. she managed to a score a few jobs as an extra walking around in the back but nothing big yet. not even a speaking role. lately they've been making jimin work on her dancing and singing skills, focusing more on making her an idol then an actress. jimin ins't sure why they're trying to train her for their girl group and is more determined then ever to make it as an actress.

▸ Why did I audition? This is the chance of a life time of course. At this point, I'm not even worried about who I got paired with I'm just thankful that I've been chosen to participate. 

question : what do you hope you'll leave this show with?

▸ A boyfriend? /laughs/ im kidding i know the odds of something happening outside this show are slim. even if they shared the same feelings an idols schedule is full. But what do I really hope to leave with? A better understanding of myself and my tastes as far as boys go. 

question : Are you ready to hear who you've been partnered with?

▸ I'm ready! I'm going to be happy whoever it is!
