PERSONALITY areum is someone you can't help but notice. she's as unique as her hair color which hasn't been its original hair color since she left busan. if her hair doesn't make you notice her, her loud voice sure will. areum spent the majority of her time with her grandma who was hard of hearing, causing her to speak loud and soon loud was the only voice that she knew. areum is very opinionated and is rarely afriad to speak her mind. it has a tendecy to get her into trouble sometimes as she's not good at biting back her words.

areum tries to put on a cool front and act a lot tougher than she is. but she loses it at the sight of cute animals and really is just a big smiley kid. areum is also really smart and would always get A's. she also cares more than she's willing to admit.
BACKGROUND Areum's mom left when she was a kid leaving her with her dad and grandma to take care of her. with her dad always working to make sure they could live a good life, areum spent a lot of time with her grandma. her grandma helped shape her into the smart girl that she is today. at school areum was well liked and had lots of friends. she lived a happy life and was thankful for all her dad did for her, including moving to seoul at 15 when she talked about wanting to become an actress. after taking some classes and strengthening her acting skills, areum auditioned for sm as an actress. they didn't except her however. then areum's grandma got really sick and she put her acting career on hold as she spent all the time she could with her before she passed away, promising to her that she would achieve her dream.
after a few more classes and fast forwarding to 2015, areum was able to score a spot in woollim entertainment.
style beanies are an essential to an areum outfit. areum has a drawer full of them and some might say it's gotten out of hand. she can usually be seen wearing skinny jeans or high waisted shorts. areum likes to wear sweatshirts that are big on her and funky tees. she's a big fan of boots and sneakers though heels make her feel awkward. if she were to dress up she'd choose a dress and flats. areum also wears a ring on her pinky that was from her grandma.
