" TALENT OF A FOETUS " dayana was part of the ballroom dance for years. she started by learning waltz, then, later on she got into salsa, chacha. it was easy for her and she loved it. when she turned 13 years old, she saw a sm town concert with her cousin who was a huge fan of snsd. that's how she discovered kpop. she started to sing after that. she never actually thought of being an idol for two reasons, one, she wasn't asian two, she knew zero korean. at school, dayana wasn't a bad student. she was around the average which was enough for her. she had friends and she didn't tried to stand out. the only moment where she loveed to stand out was when she was dancing on the stage. anyways, as she was growing up, she would learn other type of ballroom dance that was more mature, there she got to learn bachata and zouk/kizomba.
" FOLLOWING IT UNTIL THE END " when she turned 15 years old, she participated to her first national junior ballroom dance competition. along with her usual dancing partner, she went for it. after three intensive round, they ended up in final. as soon the d-day came, dayana and her dance partner went on the stage and killed the dance. because of their outstanding dancing skills for their age, they won the national junior ballroom dance competition. despite being a skilled dancer, she kept practicing her singing. she never actually showed anyone her singing. she kept it for herself because she wasn't confident of it. then, her cousin saw that the company was having an audition in toronto. her cousin was about to audition if dayana comes with her. dayana came and sang during her audition. despite her small hesitation, the judges liked her voice and they asked her to dance. when the music started, dayana did a solo dancing and impressed the judges. she got accepted as a trainee at 16 years old.

trainee life :
FIRST YEAR N' SIX MONTHS when they accepted dayana as a trainee, she flew to south korea. sadly, her cousin wasn't chosen so, she flew by herself. she was stressed because she didn't knew the language and she was alone. her first six months was hell because she had to focus on learning korean and she also joined the advanced dancing class. so, they didn't worked on her vocal at first. waking up early to go in class to learn korean and training with the other students in dance class. it was a crazy schedule for her. after six months, they made her join the singing lessons. they worked on her technique and polished her tone. then, it was when she met her closest friend, jessica. they met in their korean class. when jessica was introduced to the company, dayana got close with her easily because they were both foreigner and they both spoke portugues. they would always hang out together that people thought they were siblings.
SECOND YEAR her fist year was good. then, here's the second year. that was when the company was working on their girlgroup project. dayana's korean was a little better. she still had work, but this time, she didn't had as much problem to communicate with other trainees. team work during advanced dancing class was even harder than before. they had to create choreographies. dayana helped jessica when she needed help with her dancing. then, jessica helped dayana with her singing. so the second year passed fast and the company chosen dayana for the girlgroup lineup. they saw how hard dayana was working and how she was improving well. then after long months of lineup changement, they finally took her in as a member of the group.

(true) | the members of chasing dream literally forced her to go on a date with jongup. so, they can confess to each other. it was known that they were like best friends, but this time, the pictures showed them holding hands and enjoying their time together like a couple. the company said that their friendship turned into a love relationship and that they liked each other for a while.

jongup is a very shy guy. he is a the boy who stays in the corner in his own little world and doesn't like too much to be the center of attention. he'll propably be the one who will love to be insivible sometimes. when you try to push him into a social environnement, he will come across very awkward. but, as soon he becomes more confortable, he'll turn into another person. he is a real dork and is very funny in his own little way. he can be making small jokes and talking no sense to himself. he is a 4d character. he has his own little world, his own jokes that probably only him understands. even if he is a shy guy, he is very honest in what he says. he will say what he thinks clearly to avoid problems. if he sees something that doesn't flease him, he'll say it right away. jongup is known for being hardworking. he tries his best to improve when he has the chance too and he take any opportunities to be able to grow even more. even if he doesn't seem like it, he is short-tempered. you don't have to annoy him twice and he might get mad at you real quick. he will shut you down and ignore you for a moment to calm himself. he doesn't seem like an awkward boy on the stage with all his charismatic dances but, he is the awkward turtle of b.a.p. you can't just deny how adorable his awkwardness it is.
history :
they both met on a tvshow [you choose author-nim]. everyone had to introduce themself and show one of their talent. so, every members of chasing dream does their own thing and there is dayana's turn. dayana introduced herself and followed it by announcing that she is going to do a solo chacha dance. after thirty seconds of dance, everyone clapped and cheered. then, randomly, the mc asked jongup what he thought about dayana's dance, since he is also a dancer.
"euhm, the dance was very good."
then, the mc asks, "why did you hesited to say that?"
"no. i mean. it is the first time that i see this type of dance."
"but, what you really think of dia's dance?"
" she is an amazing dancer. "
then, here comes jongup's turn. he re-did the a part of his dance from the from gayo daejun. dia's face was priceless when she saw the dance which the mc spotted it. of course, the mc had to ask, "dia, what was that face?" "that was awesome!oh my gawd." everyone laughed at dia's random oh my god. the show went on and it finished well.
later on, b.a.p was on weekly idol and jongup was asked which female idol he wants to do a colab dance on stage. surprisely, he said that dia was his choice. shocking the two mcs, dony was like " so you like her?"
being an awkeard boy, "no. no."
cony entered in the joke "no, you have to say 'yes, i like her.' "
dony insisted "now repeat after me, i like you dia~"
then, he had to repeat it with a shy voice. as soon it was chasing dream's turn to be on weekly idol, when they saw her name tag, the two funny mcs pointed at her. "oh!!!!!!!! it is her!"
"me?"
"you have a secret admirator... do you know who it can be?" says cony
"nope!"
"there's a member from a group that said he wishes to dance with you."
"you guys ain't helping" says a member of chasing dream.
"ok...now repeat after me, dia."
"euh...okay?" says a confused dayana.
" i like you too jongup-sunbaenim." says dony.
"what?!" a shocked member says
" i like you too jongup-sunbaenim"
"add an aegyo!" points out dony.
dayana start laughing and makes a heart. the whole groups ends up laughing at dia's awkward "aegyo".
it was only after dumping into each other and having short conversations that they finally exchanged phone numbers. which was dayana who asked him since this girl ain't shy that all. they slowly became close friends. they would text often during their free time and hangout during free schedules. and then, they both called each other best friends.
interactions :
the truth actually, they are both best friends each other ,but they have feeling for each other. all members of c.d and b.a.p sees the fact that they have feeling for each other. dayana and jongup doesn't even realise it right away. the members would try to tell them, but they would deny it. they both feel like they conect in a way, but they only sees it as a strong friendship and nothing else. the thing is that they aren't aware that they like each other. they actually do looks like boyfriend-girlfriend. they getteasily get jealous and having skinship. around each other, they are joking around, talking, having silly conversations.
public in public, they are looking like two friends mostly because they don't want any crazy rumors about them. yeah, you know, crazy fangirls who doesn't want oppar to be close to a beautiful foreigner idol. they are both careful about both groups' reputation since C.d just debuted and b.a.p lost a lot of fans since their older comeback. they don't want a big scandal to appear and ruin everything. so, they act like two close friends. they make up jokes together and laugh together like two crazy people.
broadcast when they are both on a tv show, they act like two best friends. sometimes, they have jealous moment but still. everytime that the mcs asks who's their favourite, they will tell each other's name.. (which is the reason why the fans are shipping them haha :p)
future plans the members of c.d tries to make her realise, but despite to be an hopeless romantic and knowing it all, dayana deny it all. she doesn't want to admit that she feels him. she literally force herself to think about it as a friendship. this is the same way in the boys' side. then, slowly, jongup was the one who realised it first and tried everything to make her see that their friendship isn't just about that. it has more than friendship involved. but, he'll have a hard time to make her see that. then, later on, she will realise when her close friends along with jess will shake her and finally make her see the reality.
Actual relationship : strangers turning into bff/crushing on each other later.
