Origin story

The story starts from way before Briella's birth. Our system solar isn't the only one in the Milky way. There is one close to our that isn't found yet by the human species. In that unknown system solar, there was a sun. They call it the 3rd Sun filled with fire like the earth's sun. Unlike the Sun, 3rd Sun has life, extraterrestrial life.

3rd Sun is known by other extraterrestrial people to be a beautiful star with the beautiful goddess and god blessed by the big creator. They were giants (extremely tall they say about 8 ft tall thanks to their gravity.) with powers that nobody could compare to them. Briella's mother was a soldier for the King in 3rd Sun. She guarded him since their teenage years. Being a soldier for a royalty had multiple rules for them. They couldn't have relationships and even children. As time passed, Brielle's mom and the young king grew closer in secret. Eventually, Brielle's mom got pregnant. Because she did something illegal, she was sent to jail. After three months of pregnancy (because they grow quick in the tummy), Brielle was born. Since she had royalty blood and the first child, it meant she had the God's powers. The problem is that her mother committed a big crime and Briella was considered like a curse. They took the young baby and threw her into space hoping to let her die without any pain.

The baby floated in the space for a long time. Eventually, she reached Earth's atmosphere and fell down. A small light fell in the city of Laval in the backyard of a small family that hosted a party that day. A woman with her husband saw the impact from far and ran to see what it was. They found a newborn baby. After examining her, they took her in and raised her as their own. Briella grew up being a normal child. She did well in school and had a lot of friends.

During her high school years, it was when Briella started to build her full on strong personality. She made friends and a lot of enemies but, she couldn't care less. She was all manipulative and creating drama in school. She got multiple detentions but, never got expelled. Why? Nobody had enough proof to make her the full culprit. Her father used to make jokes that she used her brain to pure evil despite her intelligence. He even told her that she could be amazing in the police later on. When she finished high school, she went to Toronto University in Psychology. She received her bachelor, master degree, and doctorate degree. It was during her studies she received a call from CFIA (canadian federal investigation agency) to work for them as a psychologist. It was during the multiple tests that they found interesting results from Briella. The lying detector didn't work on her and blood tests came extremely abnormal. They did other tests with her blood and found out that she wasn't even human. For Briella, it was just a joke for her until her parents confirmed her that she was in fact not human.

One day, the FBI and CFIA had to do an investigation about a crime that was made right on the border of Canada and United State. Because the crime was made in the middle of the two countries, they had to work together. It was a crime made by one of the highest criminal group in North America. The two agency were in a secret building preparing the interrogations and investigation when the alarms rang. The enemies found their way in to rescue their friend that was taken in for interrogation. As the group was moving, Briella was with field agents in the interrogation room with the culprit. Suddenly, a small object fell from a tile on the ceiling and it exploded. The whole room started to shake and then, nothing. Briella was right there, holding the bomb in her hand, fire red. She looked around and saw one of her co-workers shocked behind the window. The culprit was shaking on the floor watching her. She tossed the bomb on the floor. The door was suddenly kicked open. Enemies filled the room and pointed their gun at her. Briella black out. She didn't remember what happened but, her fellow agent saw everything behind that window. Briella took out every single enemy in the room without any help. Her coworker said, "It was like she went Hulk without turning green. She had super strength. It comes from nowhere." All Briella remember is seeing the enemies on the floor knocked out. 

After this incident, she did multiple tests with the help of her friends in CFIA. They tested a different theory about her having powers and their finally put a name on it, Energy Manipulation. Even with that new power, Briella preferred to keep working and during her free time, she would go and train her power along with her scientists' friends. It was a secret between them only. The director of CFIA didn't even know about it. They simply heard of her amazing fight she had in the US. A year and a half passed since that incident and Briella became pretty good with her power. Her phone never dies, thanks to her power. She plays around with it and calls herself Gambit whenever she does some kinetic energy with different objects. The director found Briella's file in the scientist's computer and saw all her information about her power and her being an alien. He knew about the UN Project and contacted them without her knowing. She received a call and thought it was just a simple meeting.  She thought, "I know that I can do something good with that right?" Briella just went with the flow and accepted to join in.

Samuel Tumba ( FC - Chadwick Boseman )  | Love Interest/Crush/Flirtationship
Meet Samuel Tumba, 30 years old, he works along with Cameron and big boss, Victor. He is assisting director Victor. Samuel is exactly everything Briella loves in a man; tall, dark, handsome, looks amazing in a suit every day, manly and intelligent. They met the first time that Briella met the director for the first time. As the director was speaking to her, her mind was all about how gorgeous Samuel looked all serious in his suit. She took mental note to add him in her future man list. Briella even claimed to her bff that she met her future husband. (she insane like that.) Before leaving the room, she winked at him and he simply shrugged his shoulders. Since that day, Briella is always ready to see him. She would sway her hips and be all flirty toward him. He acts like he isn't impressed by her acting out like that. Yet, he actually enjoys the attention from Briella.

 

    

Sabrina Oh ( FC - Karrueche Tran ) | Best Friend (Cryptologist at CFIA)
Sabrina Oh (25) is Briella's best and favourite friend she has. They met back in university and were both lucky to get chosen by CFIA. Sabrina is known in CFIA to be a real genius in term of cryptology. She found many scripteed messages around and hacked into multiple associations without getting caught. Sabrina is a bubbly, funny and outgoing girl. Briella and Sabrina are inseperable. When she heard that Briella was leaving CFIA to work for UN Project, she is doing anything to be able to join United Nation to be a cryptologist there. Despite their long-distance friendship, they are always in contact. They gossip about everything and whenever they meet again. They are loud af.

— Sunday is curly hair wash day. It is a loooong process and nothing will stop her to take care of her curls.

—  She sleeps with her hair in a pineapple like this to preserve her curls. (no need to wet it in the morning.) 

— hates when someone tells her to straigthen her hair. she usually straigthen her hair once a year during winter only and keeps it only for a week.

— Baking is her big passion. She bakes like a grandmother... It is sweet and delicious <33

— She is ambidextrious. She was originally righthanded but she trained herself to use her left hand. She switches hands while writing and eating without realizing it.

—  Briella is obsessed with shoes. She has a huge collection of sneakers and heels in her closet. She says that she doesn't have enough shoes... someone cuts her cards pls 

— She has a phobia of butterflies and bees. It is a serious one... She cries and runs to save her life but, she fights insane criminals without problem. fxck the logic ok
— She can be passive-aggressive quite often. It surprise people whenever she does that. She scares criminals and suspects all the time when she does that during interrogations or consultations. She uses it also around the teammates too. Only Sabrina is used to it and she isn't impressed by it anymore. 

— She doesn't know what planet she is from until... She just knows that she is an alien who fell from the sky. She often jokes around and says "I'm a fallen angel."

— She has a weakness for kids and babies. She says that they are the purest people in the universe and we need to preserve them from the evil of the world. Everytime she sees a newborn she says, "I want to have 100 babies, they so cute." 

— She haaaates going to train and gym. Might accept only if she sees that Samuel is going to be present then, it is time to show-off how amazing she is.

— She curses and insults people in french... She doesn't give a damn that you don't understand her profanities. She also has discussions with herself in french. 

— She is a lover of parties and clubs. Saturday night is party night for her. She doesn't drink a lot. She enjoys drinking mojitos and her favorite wine is pink muscado (its sweet *^*)

Alright. Good morning, my name is agent cameron adams with the united nations. my specialty is in military psychology, so i'm here to determine if you'll be a good fit for our project. Now, Can you tell me about yourself?

"Well, I am agent Briella Melo the Head Interrogator from the FIA in Canada. My specialties are psychology and interrogations. Nice to meet you, Mr. Adams."

i understand that you have some special... abilities. Can you describe what those are for me?

Laughs and cross her legs "Oh. My abilities... It is called Energy Conversion. I basically absorb any type of energy and my body converts it into another one. I can also use it to make myself stronger and do awesome things with it."

do you have any weaknesses that i should know about?

"I have a limit time to use the excess energy absorbed. I can last about 10 minutes with the excess energy for now. I'm not on point yet with my abilities. If I go over 10 minutes, your girl faints and will go straight to intensive care for around 48 hours with a risk that my soul gives away."

What would you consider your "origin story"?

"I pretty much don't know what I am. All I know is that I am an alien who got sent to earth since I was a newborn. It was only a few years ago that I found that I was an alien and that I have such powers. From what I understand, it is your atmosphere that gives me more power. You know, almost like in DC the sun gives power to superman and supergirl." Laughs at her own jokes and realize she isn't answering the question. "So yeah, my story isn't much interesting. Normal childhood except the fact I fell from heaven. I was a real bxtch in high school. I was a genius in university. I got a job as a psychologist in FIA. I found out my powers when I was working with the FBI. A bomb came off right in front of me and I absorbed the whole impact. I was totally fine after and I went Hulk. I pushed down the debris without help. I thought that it was adrenaline hitting me up. Surprisingly, they realized that I lifted a wall made of a thick and heavy material. That's when they saw that I wasn't very normal. Tadam~ here I am." 

Can you tell me about your family, friends, and work or school relationships? anyone important or close to you in your life, really. There's a confidentiality agreement at stake, here.

"My parents, Christene Melo and Joseph Melo, are very important for me. They took me in when I was a newborn fallen on Earth. They raised me like I am their own child and taught me everything I know. They are the reasons why I tried to go far in life, especially in psychology. My best friend, Sabrina Oh, this girl is insane and amazing. I love her more than my own life. I care about her a lot. I got few acquaintances, Lucas Beaulieu and Emeraude Dion who were the two scientists who trained me and helped me in CFIA."

is there anything or anyone in your life, past or present, that may compromise you or project hero in any way?

"There isn't something much tragic in my lift except from the fact that I am an alien. I do not know where exactly I am from. Can you find it out?"

let's change the subject. what can you do for project hero?

"I mean, I can do a lot of things for the group. I provide psychology works and I can go interrogations to suspects and criminals."

how do you work best? do you prefer working in a team or alone?

"I am amazing in both. I can be cooperative whenever I want to and if I feel like not doing it then, I'll be working by myself. I'm a little perfectionist and controlling sometimes."

you're one of very few to get to this stage of screening to be a hero. Why didn't you reject our invitation?  why are you here?

"I had the opportunity to practice a little bit about my powers with the CFIA in secrets with my collegues. They were not enough equiped to handle my powers. I broke a lot of things while practicing, haha. I know the UN Project is more equiped for my powers and everything. I accepted the offer to be able to learn more about my powers and learn how to control it while using it for the good cause."

shall we roleplay a few scenarios? let's say a terrorist has another member of the project hostage with a bomb in their cell with them. there's also a nuclear missle pointed at new york. you know how both of these can be disarmed, but you have twenty minutes before the bomb detonates and the nuclear missle is launched. what do you do?

Listen the questions and raise her eyebrows. "Well, I guess we are more than two members of the team. I'll take care of the nuclear bomb. I'm the most equiped for a nuclear bomb than fighting terrorists."

the project has reason to believe that one of four individuals is the leader of a major crime ring. There isn't enough evidence to identify which one, but you and another hero have a hunch that points to one of them. we're informed that the crime ring plans to violently murder a large number of innocent people in 48 hours. what do you do?

"Bring all of them in and interrogate them. I used to be the head of the interrogation team. I know for sure how to manipulate someone to make them tell the truth. Voilà, c'est terminé! (It's done!)"

you're sent on a solo mission to a remote location to gather information about new military weapons a terror group is designing. while on the mission, your cover is blown before you go in, but you know where and how to get the weapon designs. what do you do?

"It is time for me to bring out my badass Briella out. I'll do my best to go and grab the weapon design. Thanks to my power, I can slow down the bullets and make them fall right away on the floor. Fighting won't be difficult due to my powers too. I'll be good to come back alive but, probably damaged."

another hero tells you that they've fallen in love with you. you return their feelings. what do you do?
