She doesnt have the best body proportion, but she's not the worst neither. Her legs are comparatively short, her tummy still have some invisible baby fat but her hand and wrist are thin, and her aren't flat at least. Her legs, though short, it's still in a perfect shape.

( style ) : huiryoung likes to keep her clothing simple. For school uniform, she wears it as a normal student would. Then, she would wear a pair of sneakers. Other times, huiryoung likes to wear tights/skinny jeans or sometimes shorts or skirt. She likes to wear baggy clothing that makes her look more like a midget. Almost all the time, you won't see her without a hair accessory. She likes to wear cute hair clip or headband. She loves accessories  as a whole so you'd expect she wears rings or bangles as well.

( extra? ) : huiryoung's hair is already short, but during literature or languages periods, she'll tie them up in a messy ponytail like it's a habit, so that she can listen and focus well in the class. She have this resting face because she doesn't smile for nothing. But when she smile while greeting someone, or laugh at others jokes, you can see her warmness.

nam huiryoung is a girl with few words. She is not shy, certainly. In fact, she voice out her opinions rather strongly when she decides to. It's just that she doesnt talk unless if she find it necessary. Like maybe a few situation where she would talk would be when the teacher ask things directly to her, or when she's needed to explain something that no one else could. When people ask her 'hey what are you doing here' when they saw her in the cafeteria, she'll only raise her eyebrows because would someone come to pee in the cafe? Of course she had come to eat so to this huiryoung prefers to stay silent. 

 

Unlike other people, huiryoung doesnt mind silence. In fact, she likes it. To her, silence give her peace and more space to think about a lot of different things. She likes to keep her mind busy, thinking and imagining. since she thinks a lot, she isn't the type to jump into something so suddenly. She takes time to decide thus making her indecisive. But after she decides on something, it's hard to ever change her opinion. Because she thinks a lot, she feels like she know about everything and is ready to face the worst possible outcome from her decision. This means that she's a strong will but also a stubborn girl. 

 

 

( background ) : nam huiryoung is the only child to nam jihyuk (45) and nam heeyoung (41). Her father owns a small diner and her mother is an elementary school teacher. Her interest in reading buds since she's young thanks to her mother's natural instinct as a teacher. Unlike other children that plays with their siblings, being the only child, she finds joy in playing with her imagination while reading. Her parents pay a lot of attention to huiryoung while she's growing. And she liked to be in the centre of their family. But as she grow up to be a teenager, she finds it bothersome to have her parents paying so much attention in her. She feels like the attention is suffocating. It's also burdensome to be the only child because your parents would expect much. They don't have another child to put their hope in so huiryoung had to carry the hope of them both. Typical moms, she wants huiryoung to be at least a lawyer, while her father simply wish she can take after the diner. Huiryoung doesn't want to disappoint them, but she can't ignore her dreams to be a phenomenal writer neither. So when her childhood friend, seungkwan were force to attend baek ho, huiryoung begged her parents to send her there too. So that at least, it wasn't obvious to them that huiryoung couldn't be what they want her to be but instead she wants to be a writer.

- Being an elementary teacher, the kids listen to her well. But that doesn't mean she can expect the same from her daughter. Huiryoung opposes a lot of her opinions and it frustrates them both that they usually can't come to an agreement. Her father on the other hand, understand her better. Nam heeyoung has a big role in huiryoung's life. It is to tell her what to do. And huiryoung doesn't really like those unless if she herself had ask for any opinion. Though they're not exactly close, her mom is caring and always ask about her wellbeing and studies even when they're away from each other. Huiryoung shares a lot about serious matters to her mother, like things concerning her future. She even told her about her ambition to become a writer but her mom didn't look or sound exactly pleased. With her father, huiryoung shares other random and trivial things. Her mom would call her weekly to check on her studies and remind huiryoung of her hope to see her become a lawyer or a doctor.

- huiryoung sits in front of him, so when he's bored but too lazy to get up from his seat or couldn't do so because there's a teacher in class, seungcheol would bother her. Like constantly kicking her chair and say sorry afterwards. Or when she reads a book under her table while the teacher is teaching, he would whisper 'hey the teacher is coming your way' when they're clearly on the other side of the room, only to earn glares from huiryoung. Seungcheol is probably the first person to notice her crush on seokmin since he sit behind her and he doesn't exactly pay attention in class. He couldn't help but notice how huiryoung would look up from her book everytime when the name 'lee seokmin' is mention. He doesn't for it but he enjoys looking at her reaction to seokmin everytime. Seungcheol would subtly talk about someone crushing on seokmin without directly saying it's her. He likes to get to her nerves and Huiryoung finds him to be annoying but she doesn't hold any grudge against him or anything. If he approach her nicely, there's no reason for her to be rude to him.

( how well do you do in school? ) : i think i do fairly well. Even though i may not pay attention to every subject, i'd always write down the notes. And last minute study is my forte.

 

( would you say you have senioritis? why? ) : yes, i'd like to get out of here as soon as possible but then i know i would also miss these bunch of weirdos who i had to called classmate. But hey you need to grow up

 

( why did you come to baek ho academy? ) : honestly, because i wanted to get away from my parents' eyes. I love them, no kidding but the hopes they put on me is overwhelming? Yeah, at least at a boarding school i won't be reminded as much and they won't check on me as constantly. I love mr and mrs boo for finding baek ho and for convincing my parents to send me here! 

 

( how well do you get along with class 3-a? ) : seungcheol is probably the most annoying classmate i'll ever have. But even with that fact, i get along with him well when he doesn't mess with me. So i can conclude that i get along well with everyone in the class. They gave me so much laughter throughout the classes too and i can never hate people that make me laugh.

( personality ) : he's a bright person that throws mostly silly jokes. but his silliness is something that brings energy to the people around him. He is talkative and most of the time could not stand silence. He is kind and caring to his friends. It doesnt take him much time to notice if someone is troubled and he would offer his help right away. He is blunt. Sometimes his word may sound mean or insensitive to the other person, but he'll stay oblivious about his mistake. Even so, the second he know someone is pissed at him, be he knows his mistake or not, seokmin will continuously apologise until he is confirm that the person forgives him.

 

( meeting ) : since they're in the same school/class, it's not hard to notice each other. They exchange timid smile before one day seokmin hang out with seungkwan who was constantly trying to make conversation with huiryoung that was busy reading. Seungkwan introduce him to her and Not wanting to be rude, she paused her reading and greet seokmin properly. To this, seungkwan was like 'oh ive been trying to make you look away from that book but you voluntarily gives your attention to seokmin. You like him, don't you' seokmin and huiryoung both thought that was ridiculous and seokmin just chuckles before engaging in a conversation with seungkwan while huiryoung gets back to reading.

 

( interactions ) : they dont talk occassionally, but when they do, it's always seokmin that starts the conversation. Seokmin's way of approaching her is rather soft and cautious. When most of the boys call huiryoung 'daramjwi', seokmin is the only one that would call her by her real name. He'd ask her legit question like 'whats that book you're reading' or sometimes he'd ask her things for the literature or languages subject. He always talk to her with a genuine smile and it makes huiryoung enjoy talking to him. So unknowingly, huiryoung would look forward to talk to him everyday. And when it's those days that seokmin doesn't initiate a conversation, she would feel rather down. When he talk to her, her face would immediately lit up and she'll probably be in a good mood for hours. When seokmin make his infamous silly jokes in class, huiryoung would smile or laugh to herself until maybe 30 minutes after. When the teacher called upon him, she would fidget and looks at him. Sometimes worry if he couldn't answer the question or if he got into trouble and sometimes she'd laugh at seokmin when he said the right answer but the teacher couldn't hear because he answered so slowly, not confident in his answer. Huiryoung thought it's cute to see him gets all uneasy and clueless. And in the end, nam huiryoung slowly turns into a seokmin-pabo.

 

( relationship ) : huiryoung is slowly liking him more and more but she still keeps denying her feelings and constantly remind herself not to fall deep into this seokmin pit. (For seokmin's feelings for huiryoung, i'll let you decide. as much as i llove this ball of sunshine it might not be fun to have all end up together or anything right so yea xo)
