appearance.  jiyeon has a thin long face that compliments her face features perfectly. thin eyebrow, semi-long eyelashes, and a pair of big rounded eyes make she looks sweet when she's not glaring. otherwise, her gaze can be deadly. the sharp nose and wide lips makes her look like a doll especially when she sports her usual timid smile. her dewy skin is slightly fairer than her sister's, ahyeon. people find it fascinating that they are siblings as their features are mostly different except for the lips and nose. Being a dancer, jiyeon is definitely fit. she always maintain her weight at 45kg while doing different dance routines daily. but other times like before she pursues dancing, she gain weight easily. talking about complex, she wants to grow taller than she is now, 163cm. her appearance does make her look younger, at times.

 

fashion sense. she is comfortable in any given clothing as long as it's not suffocating. shirt with a collar, or anything that wraps around her neck is really not her thing. in other words, turtleneck would be the last thing on earth she would want to wear. as for her lower part of body, jiyeon prefers long fitted pants, as oppose to her upper body preference. she claims that those would make her legs seems longer and it's warmer to wear.

personality. baek jiyeon wasn't born with talent. dancing is a passion she slowly but diligently picks up during her early teenage year. she wasn't really good in her studies too but determine to make her parents proud, she works hard and never fail to be in the top 10 ranking among her peers in school. she figures that only doing good in school won't bring her far in life. due to her indecisive trait, she had a lot of different dreams including being a fashion designer and interior designer before finally sets her heart in dancing.  

she's a strong will girl that takes time to decide her stance. but after a lot of thinking, she'll decide and never look back. the bad thing about this is she's also a stubborn and has a really high ego for a girl. because she thinks long and hard before deciding something, she feels like she know about everything and ready to face the worst outcome. hence, she doesn't take advices well. even if one day, a person manage to change her views, it'll take a lot of times for her to process that she could be wrong. she takes time to accept the fact when she's wrong. she states her opinion about something sternly and seriously. this is what makes some thinks she's scary and offensive, at times.

because she cares and thinks about others a lot , she can be called a thinker and observer. this makes her rather quiet most of the time but she does know when to have fun. she's quite sensitive and more aware of her surrounding. she takes littlest time to notice if someone is troubled. but she definitely isn't expressive. instead, if she notice the girls are having a hard time, she'll offer a hug, a pair of ear to listen to their problems, and a shoulder for they to lean on. she may not be good with words verbally, but sometimes before she goes to sleep, she'll text them words of wisdom hoping that she can give them some strength to not give up. indeed, she takes care of others through her littlest actions.

background.  she starts getting into dancing when she's 13. because she had always  been a fan of music, she gets exposed to dance easily. when she starts thinking that life need dreams to make it meaningful, dance that was originally her hobby, has become something she works on seriously. for 3 years, she would dance in her room alone at night. dancing is also a thing she do to get away from emotional issues normal teenagers face during puberty. after those 3 years, her sister that has also been diligently picked up singing, went to audition for kpop star season 1. it was all due to jiyeon encouragement. ahyeon wouldn't go to the audition alone so jiyeon had to audition as well, though she know wasn't ready and wasn't good enough. but jiyeon knows this is a great chance for her sister, so she couldn't possibly ruin it.  

she went to the audition for dancing and passed the preliminary round. but unfortunately it was just up to that. her sister, ahyeon went for singing and got into the top3. a few days after the said audition, a jype casting staff called jiyeon and asked her to come for an official company audition. she had to recover her confidence so she agreed to come. though the judges said she has a lot to improve, she was accepted as a trainee and was told to work harder. it was even before ahyeon signs a contract with the company. so she's kinda upset when people said jiyeon got a spot in twenty because of her relation with ahyeon, but jiyeon was the first to join the company before her sister.

personality. younghyun is a rather quiet guy. he often only talks when he have something to say, be it something important or just a random joke. his wittiness is quite hard to comprehend though, sometimes. he's a thoughtful guy, but is not really expressive through spontaneous words. he appreciates the people around him and show it through his actions more than gratitude words. he's a hard working guy that is passionates about music more than other things. though, he is quite studious and smart academically, he still goes to school despite being a celebrity. he's a loving and caring brother to his younger friends. and a supportive and quite rebellious to his older friends. around the friends that he's comfortable with, he can be a jokester at times. but he's polite and respectful to the people around him. most of the time, younghyun can be quite oblivious to his surroundings.



relationship. he's a friend of ahyeon that takes extra good care of jiyeon during their trainee days. ahyeon had jokingly ask him to take care of her little sister because ahyeon has start her activities as celebrity so she was busy at that time. suprisingly, younghyun listens well and takes good care of jiyeon like a little sister. jiyeon on the other hand, doesn't really like to be treated like a baby, unless to ahyeon so jiyeon was kinda annoyed. but younghyun took this to teases her. he would call jiyeon 'aegi' which means baby, just to annoy her. jiyeon purposely calls younghyun by his first name  informally, acting like they're friends and he would act like he's mad when he really doesn't care about formalities since he's from toronto. they play around each other like this. but when jiyeon is having a hard time and since ahyeon is busy, she would look for comfort from younghyun. and sometimes, when younghyun's the one having troubles, she would try to comfort him with her usual ways. they share their troubles and take care of each other. they act like a close siblings. being close for a long time, jiyeon couldn't help but to grow fond of him. after his debut, he got more handsome and she develops more feelings for him. he, of course, wouldn't notice. since day6 wasn't an idol group, they weren't as busy. but jiyeon and him sure has spend less time together. he's like a celebrity crush to her now.
