Byul < Byul means 'star'. That is her pet name that Seungcheol came up with. According to him, his worries seems to cease after he talk to Hanbyul about it. It's like 'the star that guide people's way during the darkest night.' That's exactly his words that Hanbyul finds so extra but still pleasant to her ears.

clear as glass > Hanbyul cares a lot about others. She always put the well-being of the people around her first, instead of herself. But this can only be seen through her littlest actions as she's not exactly verbally expressive. and her heart also her mind doesn't work well together. She usually says things she didn't intend to. If she ever express her real feelings, it'll be really abruptly. Maybe at times when she suddenly feels thankful to the person. She's also affectionate towards others. So before a serious heart to heart talk, she'll probably hug you abruptly, hoping it can help convey her feelings better.

Her major source of stress comes from deciding things. But when she puts her mind on something, nothing will likely ever change her determination. hard as stone > Hanbyul was born without a father. Well, she have one but her father died before she was brought to the world. That leaves her and her mother, family of two. They live a simple life in their own home away from the city with the money her father had left. But of course, it wasn't enough to support the two, especially with Hanbyul who was still growing up. Her mother, who never work any kind of job, had to do a lot of different things to earn them some pennies. Maybe, that's why her mother fall sick after a few years. They don't really know the name of the disease because they couldn't afford a check up. But her mom caught cold easily, cough regularly and sometimes cough up blood. Being only 9 years old that time, Hanbyul can only help so little. Like goes to the pharmacy when she couldn't stand looking her mom being so sick, helping her mom with her work and sometimes she help by cooking them a simple meal. Having to do those at a young age, she was definitely more mature and reserve than her peers. While looking after her sick mom, she gain knowledge and interest in nursing. After 5 years or so of struggling, her mom was taken away. Thus, she lives all by herself in the house. Most of her time of the day, however, Hanbyul would stays at Seungcheol's or be busy with her part time job. She'll only be home at night or during weekend. At the age of 16, she started working part time as a receptionist and the doctor's assistant at a small clinic. She became an official Sevein castle's nurse when one of her friend introduce her to the Royal recruitment comittee.(??idk the name haha)
I woke up like this, flawless > Hanbyul wakes up at 6 every day. She showers and make herself some breakfast. Sometimes, before going to the castle, she would help Seungcheol open up his cafe. Then, she'll go to the castle by public transport, or sometimes, Seungcheol would send her with his bike. At the castle, she changes into her uniform before going to the castle's medic room where they put all medical supplies for the royalty and their employees. She'll go through and check for any expired medicine, or any out of use tools, or anything they ran out off. She's also responsible to make and send report to the castle's treasurer in order to ask for more medical supplies. If she's done with her work and no one is particularly sick, or no one needs her help, she'll be off by 7p.m. On days like this, she'll be at Seungcheol's cafe, helping out or just hanging out till they close at 10p.m. Then, they'll walk home together. At home, she cleans up, do some chores and read at least one page of a book before she sleep. On some other days, when she have to stay the night at the castle, she'll text Seungcheol goodnight before going to sleep. Or sometimes, when she forgot to do so, she'll wake up with a good morning text from him.

Feeling indebted, Jinyoung offers her to come for interiew at the castle. Thanks to his recommendation, Hanbyul made it. At the castle, Jinyoung is a friend that looks after her well. magnetic attraction > Seungcheol; It was one of those nights that the 9 year old Hanbyul goes out to the pharmacy to buy her mom's medicine. The pharmacy wasn't that far away and she didnt exactly have anything to be afraid of as it has become her routine. She hadn't encounter any scary experience until that night. A group of young boys around her age had physically harassed her and forced her to give them her money. In a panic state, she gives them the money. When they left, she broke down into tears there and then, thinking of her mom's condition and how would she buy the medicine now that she's penniless. Right then, a 10 year old Seunghceol appears, asking her what's wrong. She explained her situation and he offers her his money. They walk together to the pharmacy and back to their home. Turns out, Seungcheol and his family were new to the neighbourhood and they actually live next to each other. Since that, they've been inseparable. Seungcheol and his family had always been kind and helpful. Thanks to them, Hanbyul's mom mangaed to get a health check up and it was revealed that she's living with lung infection. But Seungcheol's family too isn't that well off, so they couldn't help much in treating her. After her mom passed away, Hanbyul only felt the happiest when she's with him since he's such a happy virus. When he's 18, his parents were involve in a deadly accident that took their lives away. That leaves only the two of them covering each other's back. Since then, Seungcheol would occasionally tells her how he felt of their relationship and how he wants to marrry her. He didn't want to lose yet another person that he loves. Knowing of Hanbyul's insecurity in marriage, he works hard to convince her. They finally agree and promise to marry each other when they're both financially stable.
Cho Ah In; He and Hanbyul meet on the job interview. He would always be there to see for himself and judge if the person applying for a job in the castle is full of positive attitude or not. Hanbyul was of course nervous that day. She never had an encounter with any Royalty let alone going to the huge castle. Her nervousness was shown during the interview and he earns chuckles from Ah In through out the interview. When asked of her previous job, Hanbyul told the truth and the King seems to be impress that she acted so fast and was able to save Jinyoung. Also taking in Jinyoung's recommendation, he and the comittee accepted her. On duty, she would only meet him when she's doing his regular health check up. Other times, she would only greet him like any other employees do. Only when Ah In falls sick, they started to talk about matters more personally. Since they both hold strongly to what they believes, there are times when their conversaion is like a heated debate. But it dies down quite quickly since Hanbyul didn't want to cross the line, and Ah In too is someone who respecct other's opinion. At times like this, she feels her feelings wavering because with Seungcheol, they never had much intelligent converstaion. Converstaion with Ah In makes Hanbyul thinks twice of certain things.To this, Hanbyul feels that he is wise and mature and it charms her differently from Seungcheol.
you're weird but I like you > Seungcheol; He's an optimistic guy who's 98% of the time is full of confidence. Contrary to Hanbyul, he's more carefree and worriless. He believes that people don't have any boundary and limit. They can go as much and as far as their heart wants to. He's passionate and pours his all into what he's doing, especially when it comes to singing. Seungcheol is always encouraging and supportive. The downside is, Seungcheol can be impulsive and immature sometimes. He's loving and affectionate. He expresses his love and feelings well, which sometimes make Hanbyul feels bad as she can't exactly do the same to him most of the time. He's protective over Hanbyul but tries his hardest to not be too controlling. He constantly reminds her to be careful, and to call him if she need anything. He's the person that understands Hanbyul the most. He also tolerate well with her antics. There are also times, when Seungcheol would feel down and thinks that he lacks a lot.
Cho Ah In; He is an intelligent guy who's always serious most of the time. Maybe, it's because of his status as a king, but Ah In can be throwing jokes when he's sure that the respective person will respect him nevertheless. As expected from the King, he comes off cold and it takes time for him to open up but after knowing him longer, he can be a friend. Only remember to never cross the line. He hates it when he treats people in a friendly way and they think it's okay for them to cross the line. Raised up in the Royal family, he is kind and well mannered. He treat everyone with respect, regardless of their status. He is a stern father and leader. He expect everyone to do their role and task well. If you do anything wrong, it takes time for him to forgive but he will do eventually. He holds into what he believes strongly, and states his opions sternly, just like Hanbyul. Contrary to her, however, Ah In respects others opinion.
