I'VE COME TOO FAR TO TURN AROUND
{The day she was born.}
Hyunyoung was born prematurely and weighed in at 4.2 kg at birth. During her mother's pregnancy, water had filled her stomach, which led her to become a premature baby. Bile was unable to be passed through the little baby's intestines, which eventually damaged her liver, causing a biliary atresia. Although the required surgery had low chances of sustaining life, she was able to survive the 10-hour long surgery. A year later, however, she was diagnosed with intussusception (a medical condition where parts of the intestine folds over into another section of the intestine) and received surgery for enterectomy.

Surving the complicated birth and series of procedures, Hyunyoung grown up healthily. BUT She never has known the joy of having a mother in her life, since her mother had died during her labor. Her father grieved deeply for this loss but managed to raise his only daughter well. Having a great relationship with her built on love and trust, Hyunyoung didn’t miss anything that a child needs to have in their development. They weren’t that rich, but not exactly poor either and they always could manage to get enough food for the both of them to keep them satisfied. She never has had a lot of luxury in her life, but also isn’t the type of person to want such luxury.

Her father has taught her everything he knew about life. Showing the world to Hyunyoung on an early age and how it exactly worked. He also had high expectations from her, which she tried to fulfill every time. Leading her to have good marks at school and to soon start and help him with his chores whenever she could. Besides this she also had a basic training in martial arts, specifically Hapkido. Her father knew that maybe one day she would be not be in his protection anymore. And thus since her father didn’t want to lose his only daughter, he decided that it only would do her good if she would have a basic training. Hyunyoung went along with this, since she knows the fear her father has to lose her and indeed a basic training couldn’t harm her.
{How is it the world outside?}
In the years Hyunyoung has lived so far (before her being an trainee), nothing really bad or spectacular has happened. She has lived a quiet, happy and peaceful live together with her father and a couple of friends. Only now that she has become of age, she’d like to explore the world some more. To meet new people who and have a new impulse in her life which can even teach her more about it. She wanted to fulfill her life dream, she has always secretly wanted to be an idol since she was younger.

Her father and her relocated to Seoul in 2010. Having a pretty feature, when Hyunyoung was in 8th grade at Hak-Kang Elementary School in Seoul, she was advised to audition for pop singer Lee Seunggi's music video by her English teacher at a tuition institute. Consequently, Hyunyoung went and auditioned for the music video with his help. Through her relationship with the music video, The little girl had regained little recognization and was proposed to audition by Jellyfish entertainment first. She passed, credit on her potentials and passion. Her father was once strongly objected but she finally found a way to explore the world more on her own and the first time, she stood up stubborn and insisted against her father's objection. After a week, she started her training as an singer.

Trainee years was hard because she got to live her life everyday with the same boring shcedule with sweat and blood and tears, it's a battle among the trainees after all. She was not good in singing as she thought and was given an extra class for that. She wanted to give up several time but her newfound friends, was always there, kept supporting till the end. Nothing really major happened to Hyunyoung during her earliest trainee years, since she knew when to bow and is quite reserved, she barely shown herself too much except for everytime during monthly evaluation. Meanwhile, in her school life, Hyunyoung was pretty much a smart student, although busier than normally.

During her later years in jellyfish, she started to get noticed by others and also gaining people who had been jealous over her. There wasn't a lot of female trainee in jellyfish, so it's not surprising for others to get to know each other. The better things had change into the worst, she been bullied by several girls which she could barely know. There was a phase where she was been feeling down which lead to some unhealthy decision. she had ran away from home after being disheartened. no one except for Yeonrin, not even her family nor jellyfish, knew where she was. she lived hidden for about 3 days and was once sent letter to her father. she even got an extreme diet like not even drinking water for 2 days. Which lead to more weight trouble- not like she didnt go through intense diet before and keep losing her digits. Hyunyoung trained for almost 4 years in jellyfish before finally getting selected as the final line up for the survival show.

"I listen to a lot of Justin bieber's songs, well, i think he's a great artist aside from his overall headline stories. that's why jb is one of my biggest inspiration. but if we talk about my role model it'll be someone who can write lyrics. since i am a rapper and i need to write my rap lyrics."
