appearance. Ahyoung doesn’t have the gorgeous factor that some of the other idols may have, but she is prettier than average in that girl-next-door kind of way. She has a baby face, she looks youthful just like her actual age. fair skin, a pair of double lidded eyes, straight brows, medium length lashes, not so sharp nose and small lips. She has chubby cheeks and baby fat. She has piercings on both ears. She has a birthmark in a shape of small flower at her upper arm. She has a scar on her ankle resulted from falling from a tree when she was 5. She has black straight hair with brown high light that reaches the tip of her shoulders. her height is 166cm and her weight is 52kg.
fashion sense. Ahyoung is in the “simple” group. She is the one in the group who doesn’t really care about fashion. unfortunately, but sometimes she become the fashion terrorist, Her definition of fashion is something that covers your body from heat or coldness. She likes wearing comfortable clothes, the price or brand doesnt matter as long as it's comfortable. When the other members wear dresses she wears pants. For pants, she likes tight ones because she thinks that makes her long legs shown more when it might not work that well. When the other members wear skirts, she wears shorts. The cover; ahyoung is the group's precious, innocent girl. The definition of a prim lady. She is more or less best known for her manners, intelligence, DEVOTED and INTROVERT nature. She gives others an impression of being frail-looking because of her gentle appearance. But, in fact, she is strong minded and have strong will. It is also easy for people to get the impression that she will never do harm to other people. It is true that she seldom use harsh words or say anything rude. She can hides her real features by her decent appearance when she faces SOME PEOPLE WHICH SHE DOESN'T REALLY COMFORTABLE WITH. 

The truth; AHYOUNG is A very hospitable good host and warm-hearted companion. Her words make everyone feel happy, but you shouldn't let such words go to your head. She will remember your mistakes, as well as your good points. She knows more than. FORGIVES BUT NOT FORGETS. That is why people like her. This philosophy of life keeps her free from troubles, because people will forgive her as she forgives others. To those she loves, she is gentle and kind, while to some other people she may be perfunctory and halfhearted. The stage; ahyoung is cute, to put it lightly. Widely known for being a robot, her manners, respect and responsibility are well known throughout the fandom. She is as IDOL robot, though not necessarily for a lack of emotions. Rather, we see her robot persona as being the result of her personality being extremely MILD and ON POINT. Some may find her PRIM lady image cute, others may find it a bit bland and boring. THIS GIRL IS SWEET AND AEGYO FILLED AS CAN BE, when WITH HER MEMBERS.

Ahyoung was born in ulsan, South korea on november 6, 2001. She is the younger sister of 2 siblings. Her father, Yook Wonbin, is an architect as well as a senior manager of a constructing company. Her mother, yook Hyunjae, was a housewife and had taught opera classes. Her father, yook Wonbin, payed little attention to her as an infant. To their father, the older brother yook minjoon was seen as the prized child. Though, their father did not forget about her. she had to live up to the standards her older brother had set for her. She was drilled with the knowledge of different area from the age of three. on the other hand, Her mother, Yook Hyunjae, loved to shower her with love and affection. She was her pride and joy. The darling daughter she had always wanted.

Fate, however, had a different plan for their family. The mother developed a severe form of cancer. She had fought as hard as she could, but her body grew weaker each day. When AHYOUNG was seven, her father had gone to meet her at the school and informed her of HER mother’s death. It was a traumatic blow for her. Her mother was the only source of kindness besides her brother. She made a promise to her mother, on her funeral day, that she would abide by what she had taught her the short time they were together. About three years after the death of his first wife, yook Wonbin remarried. ahyoung and  Minjoon were not fond of the new woman in their father’s life. She was abusive towards ahyoung simply because of her small stature as the youngest. That ended when she started having children. Daughter after daughter after daughter. She would try her hardest to make them the center of attention, pushing Minjoon and ahyoung to the side. However, their father didn’t feel the same way. He believed his elder children needed to be molded to protect their new sisters. So even though their step-mother was cruel, they grew fond of their half sisters and protected them.

ahyoung was inspired by her late mother to involve in the music field. Her will even grew bigger when her brother started his dream job as an engineer. She auditioned for  jyp Entertainment Casting System, auditioning by singing followed by dancing and joined the company in 2012. She then underwent training for 2 years and 11 months. She graduated from Jeongshin girls middle in 2012 and attended Chung-Ang art school until now.
