maya's hair color is naturally thick dark brown and wavy. she got it from her dad. she often cuts them bra strap lenght because longer it is, more heavy it is. her eyes color is dark brown, but when she goes in the sun, her eyes looks lighter. she has an arrow tattoo on her right wrist that her older sister has too. she got it before leaving canada for south korea.

maya personally loves her eyes and her thick brown hair. she says that she has charming eyes and her wave hair is quite different from very straight hair.

her body is quite toned. she has been an athlete since a young age and has been under intensive training during her cheerleading years. she has been eating very healthy too.

BACKGROUND —

— ( the beggining of a life ) maya was born in montreal, canada. she was the second child of an couple. her mother was korea and her father was canadian. maya grew up with her older siblings who were twins, jerome and germaine. maya was the one who loved sports a lot. she started to be a cheerleading at the age of five. her parents saw that maya had a lot love for sports. maya was pretty active everyday of her life and her parents enjoyed to see that their daughter had a love for sports passion. cheerleading is a mixing of dance and gymnastic. she loved it! she went to a famous gym in montreal . it was fun and she liked cheerleading more than everything.

— ( what changed me ) that moment shock her life when she heard the group the grace. she enjoyed listening to their songs and made a decision. she wanted to be like the members of the grace. it was the moment when she wanted to be a singer too. she tried to dance, but her dancing wasn't the best that all. it was kind of "horrible" to see. later on, she heard epik high and that's when she started to learn how to rap. she focused on rapping and she tried her best to find herself a style. with her older sister, they would make fun rap competition against each other. her cheerleading team would always let her create the group chant for the competition. she was pretty good in rapping. she started to gain interest in rapping at 13 years old. she was sent to singing class to help her singing skills because she wanted to improve. she never really took dancing class, she used her cheerleading skills to be able to dance but the dances in cheerleading wasn't much "dancing". she was always put in the back during the dancing section because she wasn't very good.

few years later, her parents knew that she was too good to keep her talent for herself so they told her about to be an idol in korea. at first, she refused. she didn't wanted to be an idol because it was something that she couldn't see herself in. it took around two years when she saw that sm entertainment had an international audition in toronto. she auditioned, but she got refused. she also tried jyp the same year and she got refused. she was about to go in senior year in canada when she went to south korea for summer vacation like a gift from her parents. she was about to start her senior years and her grades were good. her parents sended her to sk to visit her family and have fun in seoul. that time, she decided that she would try to auditionate for bighit entertainment. she got accepted under bighit and she was 16 years old. during her second year under bighit, they put her in the line up to debut in glam. she got switched with dahee at the last minute. she was supposed to be the maknae and rapper. so she stayed under bighit for two more years and left because she knew that they wouldn't debut a group soon. then, she got in the company later on. she got transfered to pledis and trained for a year. so it means that she trained four years under bighit entertainment and one year under DH entertainment.

— action movies // action movies are full of explosions/gun/police. it is super interesting. plus, the effects are always so good. she loves them so much.

— ice tea, lemonade and ice cappucino // ice tea and lemonade are her two refreshing drinks that she goes for during very hot days. it reminds her of beaches, summer, sunny days and beach volleyball. ice cappucino was her favourite drink back in canada. she loved going to tim hortons and by one. she tried starbuck's one in south korea and it didn't taste like her expectations. she whine about missing tim hortons all the time. she says that when they'll fly oversea in any province of canada, she'll totally stop at a tim hortons and buy the largest ice cappucino.

— butterflies ; lepidopterophobia // this is her ultimate phobia. people thinks that butterflies are cute and . maya is deadly scared of them. when she was around 8 years old, it was raining outside and she decided to go outside to "eat" the rain drops. she opened and suddenly, a butterly went in . by reflex, she closes . the butterfly was still in "flying". she ended up coughing it out and ran back home with huge tears. that's why she's so scared of butterflies. so when she sees an actual living butterfly flying she would run her life out or end up crying like crazy. she fainted once because a butterfly flew too close from her.

— failing something // she's seriously scared to fail in her life. because her parents made her follow her dreams despite the fact that she almost went in health science in college. if she didn't debuted, she would feel like she disappointed her parents and losts many opportunities to study in her dream college, to debut in a good group. three, if she was still studying, she would have already done college and started university already. so, it is litteraly her last chance and if she fails it, it is finish for her.

— she has an instagram that she opened few months before debuting. @pedogom is her account. she posts on instagram often around twice or three times a week. she loves liking funny pictures or fans' picture. she sometimes answers them. but, her twitter @pedobear091 is very active. that's where she can spazz along with fans sometimes, especially with international fans. when someone mention her like "omggg i love yooou~" maya would totally be like " let's spazz togetherrr!!!" sometimes if she sees her favourite artist *cough* jay park post a shirtless picture on twitter. maya would totally be retweeting it and be like "is he trying to kill me?" she also has a vine account @tucorazon she mostly uses it to film her trolling her members or make up funny pranks to the members around.

— she's a huge fan of the canadien of montreal (nhl) plus, the female national team too. she has a lot of hockey jersey. she always cheer for the canadian team in the olympics and everyone in the company calls her betrayer because of that. she'll totally be cheering for canada at the next winter game in south korea.

— her ultimate talent is cheer tumbling and making stunt. she has been a flyer and a tumbler during her allstar cheerleading years. that's why she's considered a very athletic girl, plus has a very goos stamia. she started it when she was six years old and she was supposed to go co-ed, but she got accepted as a trainee under starship. if she didn't debuted this year, she would totally be crushed because she would be too old to join the co-ed. the age limit for her team is 20 years old.

— maya is probably the one who doesn't follow the diet often. yes, she eats healthy food like 90% of the time, but when the company decides to put the group in a one meal or a limited portion of food, maya would totally go eat the food then, add other things to make it a nice healthy portion. it drives the manager crazy because they say that she'll gain weight, but maya wants to keep her healthy line, not go into a very skinny girl.

• Father / beaulieu stephane / 47 / police officer ;he treats her like his baby. he's always there for her. maya loves him so much. they have a really funny relationship. he always calls her my little bunny and she calls him fat daddy. sometimes he boss her around the house driving maya crazy and ends up yelling like a crazy child. he always makes sure that maya has everything she needs. he was always there when she had competitions for her cheerleading and he was like her number one fanboy. he would always scream to cheer her. he's very protective toward maya. if anyone hurts her, he'll be willing to take the next plane montreal to seoul and hurt that person back.
• Mother / hwang aejoo / 44 / practitioner nurse ; with her mother, maya loves making crazy pranks and jokes. they make pranks on germaine and stephane. they have a close mother - daughter relationship. she's always the first person that maya calls when she's feeling down or when she needs advices. when they see each other it is always them hugging each other and maya kissing her mom. they cry everytime they see each other at the airport.

• Best Friends - Jung Hoseok "J-Hope"/ 21 / BTS Member ; this is the moment when maya abuses her noona life haha. since jhope is only four days younger than her, maya loves to be a badass toward him. she teases him around. when he does aegyo on her she would scream at him to stop. she has a lot of fun with jhope. he's like maya's best friend. they talk about everything together. he says that if yoongi act up to her, he'll be mad forever at him even if yoongi is older than him. even if he's going to die after being mad at yoongi.

• Friends - Elly Kim (L.E) / Ruby Rock Member ; with elly, they tends to make up jokes around, talk about everything and also they have a lot of inside jokes together. they are very close. they text each other everyday. maya and elly can crack up jokes together and pranks the members of ruby rock and germini together. no one stops them when they are together for being loud.

• Friends - park james / 25 / dancer under dh entertainment ; james is a dancer of the company. he has been there before maya joined the company. he's actually germaine's boyfriend. he's like an older brother for her. if maya needs help for anything in the company, he would be the first one to go and help her. maya teases him all the time by asking him when he'll marry germaine or if he's thinking of proposing. sometimes, maya would tell him that if he hurts germaine, she would stab him. they get along well.

• Friends - tiger / 23 / double h ; maya and tiger met when olsun told maya to go take a box in his office. maya went in the office and took it. the box was so big that maya couldn't be seen from the front. maya was talking to herself out loud in french then, she almost trip and said, "merde! je ne vois rien! [ i don't see anything]". tiger witness her talkling in french and took the box from her hand then, laughed. "je peux t'aider si tu veux.[ i can help you if you want]" he said. he helped her to bring to box to the singing class. after that, maya and tiger became friends. he abuses his older brother status to maya because they are a year appart, but maya loves to "rebel" herself. so he ends up yelling at her all the time, but maya would laugh her life out in front of him making him want to kill her, but if he kills her, olsun and suga will kill him so he don't do it for real.

• Friends - olsun / 25 / double h ; maya met him before going under dh entertainment. she was at j-hope's home when he came visiting. he was very nice to maya. he was funny and he liked to tease maya about her shorty height. few months after their first meeting, maya has already left bighit and joined dh. he didn't knew that maya got accepted under dh until he went in maya's first monthly assignement. he was judging her rapping and singing abilities. the moment when he saw maya enter in the room, he was like 'oh no!' because he knew her. that monthly assignement, maya didn't do much well in her singing and after that, he helped her when he had time. he tends to show a nicer side toward maya than the other trainees. he'll be helping her everytime she's messing up something. he's like an older brother for her.

TRAINING BACKGROUND —

maya auditioned for bighit when she was 16 years old in 2010. she trained four years under bighit and a year under dh entertainment

— maya's trainee days wasn't easy. in her first six months, it was really hard for her. she had to have a better korean and fix some language mistakes it was very hard to pronounce some words. thanks god that she had an intensive korean class to ameliorate her korean. her first six months was mostly focusing on her language so she can be able to learn well. plus, she went to the famous french school of seoul to be able to graduate high school. in the end 2010, they started to create lineup for a girlgroup, glam. they added maya in the lineup.

— the next year (2011) were hard for her. maya passed her time working hard with the line up of the group. many left and joined the lineup but the group didn't debuted yet. then, during september 2011, they cut maya from the lineup. she cried days and days about it. she had to join the normal training in october 2011. maya didn't had a lot of friends. she would mostly hang out with the other international trainees who spoke english. few korean trainees started to bully her because she had a small canadian french accent in korean. they called her names, pushed her and tried to make her cry. it did work before, but in a moment, maya finally stood up and told them to get out of her life. that day stayed in her mind because it was the moment when she answered them in an almost perfect korean without an accent. the bully stopped to bully her and she was happy. she was during two months in regular dancing, singing and rapping class. then, in 2012, they put her up in another level. she started her advanced rapping and singing class . that was when she became more friends with korean trainees. she was more confident about her korean and went for it even if she mess up few words. she made few friends in her rapping class, yoongi and hoseok and vocal class, seokjin. then, in end 2012, the company started the project of a new boygroup bts. her boyfriend and her friend were in the lineup.

RELATIONSHIP —

— ( the first meeting ) they both met during their trainee days in 2011. that was when maya integrate the advanced rapping class when she was under bighit entertainment. during the first two months, they never really talked to each other except from polite hello when they see each other. during the monthly assignement, the teachers and the ceo agreed to make a small competition girls against girls and boys against boys. the two winners would have to work together and make a rap duo together. being a quite good rapper, maya finished first along with yoongi. they had to work together for the next monthly assignement. being yoongi, he worked overnight to try to create a nice beat for them and the next day they finished everything together. they ended up joking around for few days together then, went back to work. after this monthly assignement, they became close friends and it became more with time.

— ( their interaction ) they started secretly dating in summer 2012. so it has been three years of dating and two years of "distance" relationship. since maya left bighit few months before bts' debut. even if they are in two differents companies, it doesn't stop them.

— ( alone ) when they are both free (doesn't happen often), they try to meet in a place quite far from the population. they can both go away to be able to pass time alone together. they would hold hands and do stuff that normal cute couple do. they can have crazy competitions against each other or make each other scared for no reason. maya isn't scared that all of skinship. if she feels like kissing him, she will. maya would often and he would laugh at her weirdness. he enjoys the small but memorable time with her. he tries to make it up for her because he feels guilty that he's too busy sometime, but maya understands and try to stop him for feeling guilty. overall, it's a couple who enjoy each other's presence a lot while being lovey-dovey, crazy and dorky together.
