Every time you see Hyunjae you always question whether there's something different about her. She's the type of girl who likes to try everything. She dyes her hair on a whim and is always styling it differently every day. You will never see her with the same hair style two days in a row unless she absolutely loves it. She's the one for coloured contacts, crazy lip colours and outlandish hair styles and colours. She's just a girl who loves to experiment with her looks until she finds something that suits her. (Except for short hair because short hair definitely does not suit her.

Other than that there are a few constants to the girl named Hyunjae Lee. She stands (short) at 165cm with little hope left for growth. She weighs about 47kg - a weight that hardly fluctuates or changes. She's rather skinny and she likes her body. She works out every other day to ensure that her body is healthy on the inside and out. Currently she has chest length brown hair with long bangs. There is a strip of blonde in her bangs because she couldn't handle brown hair. It was too boring for her.  

Hyunjae has a few tattoos (with a long list of future "tattoos I HAVE to get!!"). The first tattoo she ever got was when she was 17 - right when she graduated from high school. It was a tattoo of just black dots, depicting the stars that formed the Great Dipper. Under black light, however, you can see the line that connects the stars together (done in white tattoo ink). Before GPS's and Google Maps, people used stars for navigation, guidance and sometimes - hope. Hyunjae was at a point in her life where she felt lost - she didn't know what she wanted to do with her life. That's why she got a tattoo of stars - to remind her that she will always find her way as long as she trusts in her decisions and follows her heart.

The second tattoo she got a month later. It's a tattoo on her back that says "There is a light that never goes out." It goes hand in hand with the star tattoo on her wrist. No matter what happens, if she feels lost or if she's hit a low point in her life, there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel. She can get through anything as long as she has hope.

The last tattoo she got when she turned 21. It's of an outline of two roses on her left shoulder. The two roses represent two very important people in her life - Aecha and Seunghyun. In high school she lost both of her closest friends and no matter how many years have passed since those days, Hyunjae still feels the burning pain within her heart. Having the two roses on her shoulder signify that their friendship will always be in "full bloom" and that it will never die.

"Aestheticssssssss" HyunJae whispers into your ears before disappearing.

Hyunjae's style is undefined and is constantly changing. She'll wear anything and everything. Heck, she'll even wear a garbage bag if she feels like it. Currently, she's really into the whole concept of "aesthetics." She likes those clean white shoes, pleated skirts with a sweater tucked in. Anything with collars is a must and layering is one of her specialities. However, she can go from grungey one day to girly the next and then to a street thug after that. Her style and concepts are constantly changing - just like her hair. Her favourite style icons would include Fernada Ly, Jenn Im, G-Dragon, Alexander Wang and Karen No. Stores she likes to shop at or brands she likes would include H&M, Stylenanda, Top Shop, Zaras, Brandy Melville, Obey, Stussy, Adidas and Nike.     

DESCRIPTION

Hyunjae is the mitochondria of Pathcode Films - she is the power house, the energy, the stamina. Even on the days where she only got 2 hours of sleep, she will be the one skipping around the studio spreading her energy and happiness and just trying to brighten everyone's mood. As the location manager, she does her job extraordinarily well. She knows every nook and cranny of Seoul, has been to almost every restaurant and can distinguish a street by just looking at a photo of it. Her free time is spent exploring - and sometimes not even the main parts of Seoul. She will go to some random dingy neighbourhood and bike around just to see it. Even though all neighbourhoods look the same, she still goes to every single one because she just likes it. That, is why she is the trusted location manager of Pathcode Films. You can tell her the feel of what you want and she will know where to go. With a bright smile, a happy go lucky personality, and a head of hair that seems to always be changing colour - Hyunjae will take you on an adventure you'll never forget.

"SHE'S SO HAPPY SHE COULD RAINBOWS." If you think Hyunjae is as happy as she looks, well, then, you're right. Hyunjae is a spitball of energy and enthusiasm. She is stupidly happy all the goddamn time and on top of that she's pretty weird. Whenever you look at her she's always smiling even though there's literally nothing to smile about or she's jamming out to her favourite song even though it's dead silent or she's following a worm on the side walk cheering it on until it reaches the grass. One look at Hyunjae and you'd mistake her for an 8 year old child in the body of a 22 year old grown woman. And god forbid, if you get her talking about a subject she really likes, she will talk about it nonstop at a rate of 1000 words per minute. On days where she's really happy (which is almost every day) you can literally see her skip around the studio. She's the kind of girl who will laugh at any joke (even if it isn't funny because she doesn't want to hurt people's feelings) which explains why Jongdae is always coming to her with his ty pick up lines.      

"LIFE IS ING AMAZING" Dancing in the rain, assembling flower crowns, jumping into a pile of leaves or making snow angels - you can tell that Hyunjae is someone who loves her life. She doesn't take a single moment or person for granted. She's the type of girl to randomly show up in the studio with flowers for everyone because to her, "the dead receive more flowers than the living because the regret is stronger than the gratitude." She lives with the constant fear that her loved ones will be taken away from her and she doesn't want a day to go by without them knowing that she loves them. She believes that there are no second chances in life and always acts on that. She's brave and will do things because, well, one - YOLO, and two, because you may not be able to live long enough to get the chance to do it again. Partnered with this attitude is a very adventurous spirit and a bad, bad case of wander lust. She's the type of girl who will drag you out of your house at 2 in the morning to go check out a random field because, apparently "YOU CAN SEE THE STARS BEST THERE!!!" (Yoojin, unfortunately, being one of Hyunjae's victims.) Hyunjae loves exploring every single part of town - every nook and cranny. She wants to see everything that the world and earth has to offer, making her job as the location manager an appropriate one. She also loves trying new things. Her motto is try something new every day (except for drugs because they're bad for you.) 

"I DON'T KNOW MAN, LET'S JUST GET FISH TACOS." The problem with Hyunjae is that she is both impulsive and indecisive. For example, Hyunjae almost didn't get into University her first year because she had pushed her final decision for too long. She had applied to a plethora of University's for a variety of majors ranging from accounting to nursing to engineering to communications. She had no idea what she wanted to do and she couldn't make her mind up on what to do. In the end she chose accounting, and later ended up hating her career. When it comes to the important decisions in life she doesn't know how to make up her mind. However, once she sets her mind on something it is very difficult to talk her out of it. She's very stubborn once her mind is made up. Most of the time, when small decisions are to be made, Hyunjae acts on an impulse and often times this is at the expense of other people's feelings. Sometimes she doesn't think things through and that can cause a lot of stress and pain for those around her who have to clean up the mess that Hyunjae got herself in to.

"WAIT WHAT?" Underneath Hyunjae's happy facade and childish demeanour is a girl who's really ing clueless and dense. You know that one scene from Mulan, where Mulan is fighting with Shang and then Yao walks in and he's like "WHAT'S UP GUISE?!?!" and he's super happy but Mulan and Shang are pissed af at each other? Yeah, that's Hyunjae. She cannot read an atmosphere for the life of her. She walks in at the wrong moments way too happy when people are either upset or angry and then you have Hyunjae who's grinning and trying to crack jokes. But then again, even when she does know that the situation is tense, she'll still be that happy little bouncy ball of energy. She's also the girl who finds herself in a lot of awkward situations, for example: "So how are you and your boyfriend?! You guys are so cute together!" "We broke up last week." "Oh." Sometimes it's not like she's trying to be clueless, she just is.

one — Photos & Polaroids // Most of the time Hyunjae's face is buried behind a camera. You would be surprised to find out she's not a camera operator even though she works well with a camera. She's a girl who wants to capture every moment and cherish it forever. She's very good at capturing candid moments.  
two — Road Trips // Hyunjae loves to travel so it's no surprise that she loves road trips. There's something about blasting your music on the way there and then exploring new places that leaves Hyunjae's heart craving for more. 
three — Music // And really, who doesn't? 
four — Music Festivals // Whether that would be music concerts or even raves, Hyunjae loves going to these kind of events for the music and only for the music. There's nothing she loves more than jumping up and down, screaming out the lyrics to her favourite songs.

six — Dogs // Hyunjae freaking loves dogs. She wants a pet dog. If she sees a dog on the street you bet your she's going to chase after it.

eight — Social Justice Issues // She's not a social justice warrior but she takes a huge interest in topics pertaining to racism, feminism, same- marriage, etc...   
Nine — Stars // Hyunjae loves astronomy and stars and everything about space. She knows almost every single constellation by heart. Space interests her a lot and it blows her mind that the stars we see are already dead but the way that light travels allows us to still see them.

one — Country Music // Hyunjae loves any kind of music genre - EDM, Rap, Pop, Hip Hop, RnB but she hates country music with a passion.
two — Horror Movies // Hyunjae cannot watch horror movies at all. She gets scared way too easily. Yes, she believes in ghosts so watching horror movies doesn't help her with facing her fear. (Also, she doesn't trust anyone sending her links in fears that it may be a screamer.)
three — Ringing Phones  // Explained in her background section. She doesn't like phone calls, especially from unknown numbers. 
four — Thunder // Hyunjae actually loves the rain and seeing lightning but the sound of thunder scares her a lot.
five — Losing people she loves // There's a lot to this - Hyunjae is scared of losing the people she loves. Even more so, Hyunjae is more scared of the people she loves not knowing that she loves them. She doesn't want to live with any regret or guilt.

one — Stargazing // What's better than looking at a sky full of stars? Okay there's a lot of things but when it's 2 in the morning, and you can't sleep, the best remedy is to look at the stars. Hyunjae knows the sky like the back of her hand and knows almost every single constellation by heart. 
two — Playing the Piano // If Hyunjae could choose her spirit animal it would her piano. Yes, you read that right. Hyunjae feels some sort of spiritual connection her piano. She just loves playing so much and is always working on improving her skills. 
three — Dancing // Her second spirit animal would be dance. Yes, if dance were to be an animal it would be her second spirit animal. It's a way to express herself visually and take her away from reality - even if it's just for a moment. 
four — Exploring // And when I say explore, I mean explore. She will go literally anywhere. Someone could say, "hey, let's go check out that dumpster!" and she'd be like "I'm down." She doesn't care if it's a tourist attraction or not, she'll walk down random streets just because she wants to.

one — She has the habits of a child. Whenever she's bored she'll try to balance a pen on her upper lip. Whenever she's nervous, she'll look down at her feet and fiddle with her fingers. Whenever she's embarrased she'll cover her face with her hands.
two — If she hasn't seen you in a long time, her hugs are like full on body slams by a foot ball player. She will run at you full speed and just throw herself against you. 
Three — When she rings the door bell or knocks on a door, she will stand close enough to the door that her nose just barely touches it.

one — Hyunjae is an insomniac. She has problems sleeping and doesn't sleep well in general. This explains why she always goes star gazing because it helps her to relax and so she can go home afterwards and fall to sleep peacefully.
two — Hyunjae's the type of girl who doesn't eat much. She usually skips meals because she just doesn't have a big appetite and she doesn't get hungry easily.

"Once upon a time..." Now, when you look at Hyunjae and see how goddamn happy she is, you'd think that she had some tragic back story to make her so smiley all the time. Well, you're not entirely wrong. Hyunjae grew up in a loving, well off family. Sure, there was a few family quarrels here and there but all in all, her childhood and home life was pretty good and she never complained. She had a roof over her head, food to eat and people who loved her. What more could she ask for?      

"Every kid is gonna be in love with my kid." When Hyunjae was a young child her parents enrolled her in everything. That probably explains why she has a large interest in everything. She learned the piano when she was 4, started ballet classes when she was 6, picked up the guitar when she was 8 and then enrolled in hip hop and tae kwon do classes when she was 10. On weekends she would bake and cook with her mom and over summer or winter vacations her dad would teach her how to skii, water board or surf. Now a days, she only sticks to playing the piano and dancing. 

"And cue sad violin music." In high school, Hyunjae lost two of her closest friends. In junior year, one of her closest friends was hit by a drunk driver on New Years Eve and was in a coma for 4 days. He never woke up. In senior year, her best friend committed suicide. She couldn't handle the pressure of studying and getting into university and chose instead to end her life. Whenever you ask Hyunjae to describe fear to you, she describes it as the sound of a ringing phone. A ringing phone only ever brought her bad news.

"Experience is a brutal teacher." This explained everything. This explained why Hyunjae was happy all the time. It explained why she always told the people she loved she loved them with no hesitation. It explained why she surprised her co-workers with flowers on a whim. She couldn't live with the regret of losing so many people close to her and the fear that they left without knowing how important and special they were to her. Her happiness helps to hide the pain. Her gratefulness helps to hide the guilt.

"But life still goes on." With the help of her cousin, Kyungsoo, Hyunjae was able to pick herself back up and continued on with her life. She knew she had to make her loved ones proud so she went into accounting - a promising career that she hates. But it makes her parents happy and it brings some sort of prestige to her household so she does it any ways. Throughout University she had a small group of friends who would travel with her every opportunity they got. Whether that would be during winter break or spring break or over Summer vacation, they would hop on a boat, a train or an airplane and go somewhere new. With her friends she's been to Tokyo, Busan, Jeju Island, Beijing and Kyoto.

Cousin — Do Kyungsoo // 22 // Production Assistant/Location Manager // Hardworking, Serious, Strict (but when he's around Hyunjae, dorky.)

Since birth, Hyunjae and Kyungsoo have stuck together through everything. Their parents are really close, henceforth, they became very close as well. They went to the same school all the way up until University and were there for each other through everything. Through all the ups and downs they stuck by each other and supported each other in whatever the other wanted to do. For cousins, they're extremely close, and it was just in the way that they were raised. It's very normal for Hyunjae to stay at Kyungsoo's place for a week and visa versa. They're family and to Hyunjae, family comes first. To Kyungsoo, Hyunjae is his everything. She's someone who is very, very precious to him and she's someone who deserves to be protected and loved. After everything that she's been through, Kyungsoo takes it on himself to protect her. He spoils her all the time. Even though he may seem strict in his career, he's a huge dork around Hyunjae. Only she can break through his tough shell.

Older Brother — Lee Junghwa // 25 // Accountant // Funny, Hardworking, Stubborn, Witty   

Junghwa, Kyungsoo and Hyunjae were regarded as the three musketeers growing up. They were all pretty much inseparable. They did everything and anything together. To Hyunjae, Junghwa was the best older brother. He always spoiled her and took care of her. He would always take her out for patbingsu, pick her up from the mall when she hung out with friends and made sure she was the first to eat during dinner. Anyone could tell how much Junghwa loved Hyunjae. They were siblings who rarely argued and were able to talk and communicate their feelings without resorting to fighting. (Although when they did fight it felt as if all hell broke loose.) Junghwa is a person that Hyunjae really trusts and they can talk about anything and everything together.

Hyunjae's father adores her very much. She's the definition of Daddy's little girl/princess. It's mainly because she excelled in everything that her parents put her in - piano, guitar, taekwondo, etc... She never let her father down and she never wants to let her father down. She knows that he works hard every day to make sure she has clothes to wear, food to eat and a roof over her head. She wants to repay her father back as soon as she can and works hard every single day for him. They hold a very simple relationship. They're not the type to joke around or anything like that but she can talk to her father, no problem.

Hyunjae's mom is a very hard working person. She knows she's not a smart person but she makes up for it with all the time and hardwork she puts into whatever she's doing. This is a mind set she has tried to instill into Hyunjae and Junghwa to ensure that they do not fail. She's the owner of a dainty restaurant. A lot of Hyunjae's aunts and uncles tell her that her mother's cooking is the best in all of Korea and Hyunjae believes it. Her mom's cooking is no joke. She can be a bit bossy at times, always nagging Hyunjae to eat well, wash the dishes, clean up the house, etc... but Hyunjae doesn't mind it. She'd rather have her mom be alive and nagging at her then six feet below the ground. Hyunjae can joke around with her mom a lot and always gives her mom some sort of snide or snarky remark.

"I'm smarter, better looking and more talented than you!"

Close friend — Song Seunghyun // Deceased // Student // Hot-headed, stubborn, blunt, flirty   

Wait... do you hear bickering and arguing? It must be Seunghyun and Hyunjae, at it again. These two, although not necessarily opposites, didn't always get along. They held the kind of relationship where they were always arguing and insulting each other. Everything was a competition between the two and whoever lost would be teased relentlessly for the rest of the week. But soon enough, that friendship became normal to them. Teasing, name calling, bickering, competing - it all just became a routine to the two and they just got closer and closer. The fondest memory Hyunjae has of Seunghyun was when she scored higher on an exam than him and so he treated her out to icecream. It was a simple exchange but that was the day Hyunjae and Seunghyun started opening up to each other and their friendship flourished.

On New Years Eve, while Seunghyun's family was returning home from a family celebration they were hit by a drunk driver. Seunghyun was sitting in the passenger seat and was hit straight on, leaving him in a coma for 4 days. He never woke up. The only photo Hyunjae had of them together was when they had went out to get icecream and from that day on, she swore to herself that she would take as many photos and videos as she can to preserve the memories of the people she loved.  

"Opposites attract! That's why we're best friends!"

Best friend — Jung AeCha // Deceased // Student // Shy, Introverted, Quirky, Respectful, Pushover 

These two were a strange pair to see around school. Where Hyunjae was loud and always smiling, Aecha had her face to the ground and just wanted to blend in with the walls. Truth be told, they were friends since elementary school which explained why they were always together. Although Aecha wasn't as close to Hyunjae as Kyungsoo was, she was the girl best friend that Hyunjae needed. They would always gossip about the cute boys in school and plan out road trips and adventures they wanted to go on.

Halfway through her senior year, Aecha committed suicide. She couldn't handle the stress or the pressure from the rigid Korean school system and chose to end her life. Her death rocked Hyunjae's world like a tornado, destroying everything and leaving behind nothing but ruins. At this point she was beginning to break after losing so many people that she loved dearly. On the outside she still smiled like a fool but on the inside her heart felt cold. She promised herself that she would travel the whole world and she would do so in Aecha's name. Aecha always wanted to travel, and Hyunjae would live in order for her to do so.

— "How dare we sit quietly and watch the world pass us by?"

Hyunjae got her position thanks to her lovely cousin, Do Kyungsoo. Even though she's a prideful person who wants to earn her own job position, she couldn't resist the offer when Kyungsoo gave it to her. She was tired of working at the bank. It was a typical 9 to 5 job sitting behind a desk and for Hyunjae's adventurous spirit - she just couldn't handle that. She wanted to explore. She wanted to travel. She wanted to get out there and see the world. The reason why Kyungsoo had offered her the position in the first place was because Hyunjae was dragging him around to a variety of strange places. She knows almost every nook and cranny of Seoul. It's like she's been down every street, been to every restaurant, seen every field. She just knows where everything is. If there's a specific location or theme the film needs, she knows the perfect place for it.   

What is your dream for Pathcode Films? And how do you suppose you will be able to contribute in achieving that dream?  — I think it's everyone's dream to be number one, right? Hmm, but more so than that, I want our films to have an impact on people. Maybe we don't win an award or maybe we aren't number 1, but to me the most important part is that we're relatable. I want people to be able to connect and feel and reminisice when they watch what we create. I want our works to strike a certain chord within people and to have it... take them back to a place they were once before. Like when you listen to an old song and you're taken back to that moment you listened to that song or the moment that song reminds you off. I want our films to make people feel and think. That's the kind of impact I want our films to have, that's the dream I have for Pathcode films. I guess for me and my contributions, I want to find places that are relatable. Places that people can actually go to, or have somewhere simliar to go to. I don't want to be somewhere grand and fancy where half the population can't even afford to go to in the first place. Even if it's just someone's backyard but if it looks and feels like everyone else's backyards, then I want to maintain that kind of familiarity through locations.  

Do you like your position? Why or why not?  are you aiming for a higher one in the future? — Honestly, compared to the last job I had (at a bank firm) I love this job. It lets me do what I love - traveling and exploring. I mean, sure, the technical part of it (signing contracts, setting up agreements, establishing filming dates) can be kind of boring but the whole process of finding a new location is magical. I mean, I thought I already knew every place in Seoul but now, I get to go out and beyond Seoul to new locations. It's just so magical. I think I just have a knack for this kind of thing. I mean, I love my job right now, but I would love to help with music production or something of the sorts? I would love to compose music for our productions but yeah. I'm content with my position right now.   

If you could switch positions for a day, what would it be? Why? — I want to be a writer. As I said earlier, I want our films to be relatable. I would love to write or create something relatable, something that strikes a chord within people's hearts and hopefully, something that can make people cry too? I would love to create something too. 

DO YOU think pathcode films could go a long way? — C'mon. We're all young. We're ambitious. We have so much ahead of us and set out for us. I'm not one to talk, but everyone else in the company is so intelligent and skilled and have so many positive assets. Some of my co-workers have so much experience, it blows my mind. With our group of hardworking, experienced individuals - I know we can go a long way. 

DO YOU get along well with everyone? — I'd like to think that I do. To be honest, I get insecure. I think people get annoyed of me because I'm too childish or I'm too weird or I'm too happy. Kyungsoo always tries to reassure me that people just see me as the baby of the group and that they enjoy my happy attitude around the studio. And I mean, I'm one of the few ladies who can actually handle Jongdae's ty pick up lines - so that has to mean something... right?

YiXing Zhang

"The ideal boy, Zhang Yixing!" To put it simply, Yixing is the boy you would want to introduce to your parents. He's well mannered, respectful and not to mention - handsome. He's a firm believer of showing respect to your elders and taking care of your family, which is why so many old ahjummas and halmonis love him. He also carries a very humble and calm aura. He tends to bow a lot and downplays his successes, even though he should be showing it off. To add to that, he is exceptionally kind. If someone needs his help he's always there and he does everything with the thought of other people's feelings in mind. He never has cruel or ill intentions. He only wants to do what's best for those around him and what will make them happy.

"You forgot it, again?!" Unfortunately, what most parents don't realize about Yixing is that he's very forgetful. A day in his life is him just forgetting everything. He'll wake up in the morning and leave the house and realize he forgot his phone. He'll go back to get it and then leave the house again, only to remember that he forgot his earphones too. And then, he'll leave the house and half way to his destination remember the important documents that he was suppose to bring with him to Pathcode Studios. On top of that, he's fairly dense and clueless. He doesn't take hints easily, and is usually the one to blurt things out when people are trying to keep a secret. If you're planning a surprise you need to tell Yixing that it's a surprise or else he'll accidentally ruin the surprise.

"You need to stop letting people walk all over you." Other than the fact he's kind of clueless, dense and really forgetful, Yixing is a person who is very sincere. He deeply cares about his loved ones and tries to show it to them. He tries to never take people or things for granted. As stated earlier, Yixing is exceptionally kind. He'll help anyone who needs help - strangers or not. But sometimes he's just too nice. He has problems being assertive and often times he gets pushed around a lot. People tend to take advantage of Yixing because he doesn't know how to say no and he doesn't know how to put his foot down. He doesn't stand up for himself which allows for people to abuse him.

"I mean... he's kind of really ing cute." When Hyunjae was first hired, she was given a tour of the studio by Kyungsoo and was introduced to everyone on the team along the way. She was one of the youngest people there, being freshly graduated and had zero experience in the film industry. Especially since she graduated with a degree in accounting. Surprisingly, the person who caught her eye was Yixing himself. Not even Kris's tall height and intimidating good looks or Jongin's suave charm or Lu Han's baby face could distract Hyunjae from Yixing. Yixing was just so cute and handsome and Hyunjae had to admit that to Kyungsoo who only gave her a knowing smile.

"But why would she come here?" Initially, Yixing just thought that Hyunjae was going to be a new member of Pathcode's growing family and he welcomed her kindly with open arms. He didn't think much about it or her, for that matter. He just thought that they would be friends like everyone else. (But boy was he wrong huhu) However, when Yixing hears that Hyunjae was once an accountant before she came to Pathcode films, he was intrigued. What had made her want to come to Pathcode Films after studying something completely irrelevant? 

"You deserve to be here just as much as they do." At first, Hyunjae wasn't very accepted in Pathcode Films. Not only had she graduated with a degree that was kind of useless to the film industry, she had gotten the job because of her cousin and not because of her own skills or hard work. This left her feeling dejected at first but Yixing was there to comfort her whenever Kyungsoo wasn't. One day, Hyunjae surprises Yixing with homemade lunch to express her gratitude for his kindness and that's when his crush on her started.

"Let me walk with you." What really started off Hyunjae's and Yixing's friendship was his daily walks for his breaks. After she made lunch for him, she ran into him the next day while he was leaving the studio. He told her he was stressed out because he was in a writing slump and he couldn't find inspiration. She offered to take him somewhere that would relieve his stress and so she took him to a park near by that he hadn't even known existed. From there on, it became their habit to walk with each other on their breaks. Hyunjae would always take Yixing somewhere new close to the studio and he would be amazed every time. Even though he had been at the studio for a long time he never noticed any of the small treasure places that Hyunjae would take him to. He then realized why she was the location manager - she just knew all the right places to go to.  

"Don't get too close, it's dark inside." At first, Hyunjae is reluctant to open up to Yixing. After all, for a 22 year old girl, she's been through more than even she thought she could handle. Truth is, she's scared. She's scared of becoming close to people because she's afraid that she'll lose them or that Life will take away someone else from her. Yixing, however, is patient with her. Often times even when they sit in silence, the silence somehow finds a way to comfort Hyunjae. She wants to let him in. Even Kyungsoo - her protective cousin - is trying to tell her that Yixing is someone who's good for her but Hyunjae is just scared. And she has every right to be.  

"You make my heart go doki doki." Yixing makes Hyunjae's heart beat undeniably fast. Sometimes she'll come into work even though she has no work to do just so she can sit at her computer desk and stare at Yixing. The way his eyes look when he's concentrating on something or the way his dimples show up on his cheek when he laughs or smiles: Hyunjae is enchanted by it all. Whenever he smiles at her it sends her heart into a flurry of butterflies. She literally feels like an Anime school girl/character falling in love. Yixing has actually created her into a clumsy mess of a girl. Whenever she's with him she's always tripping over her own two feet or having a slip of tongue. It leaves her extremely embarrased and flustered around him (but he thinks it's cute.)

"Watching those two love birds is getting frustrating." Watching the two interact and knowing that they both like each other frustrates everyone at Pathcode Films to no end. The two of them are just so dense you just want to walk up to them and scream at them that their love for each other is not unrequited. Yixing doesn't think that Hyunjae likes him back but he's always trying to subtly make advances on her. Sometimes he'll brush away a stray hair on her face, or open doors for her or treat her out to lunch. He doesn't notice, however, the blush that forms on her cheeks and the way she stares at him whenever he's ordering something off the menu. The problem is, the other person doesn't realize that they like them back. And in Jongdae's words, "I swear, they could kiss each other and not even know that the other person likes them!"
