Somnium is a city AU combined with a fantasy AU Facebook based roleplay that contains elements of Alice in Wonderland, the movie, and Alice Madness returns, the video game. It takes place in two different dimensions. One normal city, where all characters can have any life story possible. The second dimension is Wonderland, where to all the characters escape to in their dream.

Our subconsciousness has granted us the escape. The route to travel to a world far more magical and mysterious than our own. Someone’s life can be one in the normal universe and another in the universe dreams take them too. Where normal life can be dull and boring, the same routine every single day, the world your slumber takes you to is unpredictable and is constantly changing.

Your dreams take you to Wonderland. A world unlike no other. With colorful flowers, forests that are the home to the most mythical creatures and oceans that seem to never end. Yet this wonderful world is at war. The White Queen and the King of Hearts, have never been friends. The Queen’s way of ruling was considered free, she ruled with kindness and a smile in her kingdom Increto. While the King ruled with an iron fist over Rutilus, he didn’t take no for an answer and all he wanted was more land to rule within Wonderland. Regardless of her kindness the Queen wouldn’t have any of that, she gathered her army to defend the lands that were considered hers. While the King of Hearts only wants more and more, the White Queen wants nothing more than to just have everything remaining in peace.

Your role within Wonderland was never within your power. Do you close your eyes and fall into a deep slumber to become the White Queens’ personal guard? Or maybe you are one of the King of Hearts’ soldiers set out to get rid of everything that stands in his way of taking more land for Rutilus? You could also be a citizen of Canitia, a peaceful town in Increto where the Rabbit is in charge? Maybe you’re a simple merchant? Or maybe you work under the Rabbit’s watch as a clockworker? Or will you be a true free creature in the forest of Sylva with no one to rule over you but also no one to protect you?

Only your dreams will telll.

As mentioned before you can choose any real life occupation for your character. You can make your character rich, poor, a student, a criminal, etc. Whatever you’d like.

For your life within Wonderland there is a list of occupations. Choose one of those, a description will be available about every single occupation.
