I don't read a lot of BTOB (I like them, really!), and I'm certainly not particularly familiar with this pairing, but this was adorable. haha I particularly enjoyed the whole setup and how you introduced us to the characters with Ilhoon being far more lazy than the athletic Minhyuk, but unable to escape that unmistakable crush that he continuously tried to convince himself wasn't much of anything. That was quite amusing to be sure. His mental commentary throughout was generally priceless anyway. :D

I very much liked the idea of the race situation, though that was only place I struggled a bit with the story, since what happened to the other runners? And I legitimately thought he'd fallen for real and that he had actually been hurt, which kind of put a damper on the rest of it. Not to mention, that sort of trickery is just low... But that's also more of a personal dislike about the situation. Well, that and the constant point of view changes were jarring at first. I didn't expect them to happen at all and then it just kept jumping between the two. :S

That aside, after everything was said and done and they had their moment together, I did find myself grinning and laughing along. A couple of dorks. haha Constantly trying to one-up each other indeed. Then there's the awkward confession and I want to smack Ilhoon because he's being a dumbstruck fool, but it all works out in the end. I even really liked that you had them hug instead of kiss. That so rarely happens and it just made it that much cuter! XD lol
