In the deadness of the night when only thugs and the homeless roamed the streets, Park Sehun twisted and turned in his sleep, trapped in his worst nightmare. The woman he had secretly loved for over five years was disgusted by him as he finally made a love confession. "I never want to see you again. Stay away from me you creep!" She spat and walked away without ever looking back. Beads of sweat formed as his breath grew heavier by the second. All of a sudden a shrill registered in the back of his mind. It took him a moment to realize what it meant and another before he groggily d for his phone off of the nightstand. "This better be good." He demanded in a gruff tone, thinking it was one of his friends, yet secretly relived he was out of the nightmare. Recently, they had taken it upon themselves to restore him back to his normal self, via the Sehun that used to hang out in the night club with them.

The person on the other line however was not one of his friends, it was his mother. "Sehun ah!" She shouted his name with an urgency he hadn't heard in a while. "Yoona's gone!"

Her answer jolted him awake as if she had splashed iced water on him. "What?"

"I heard Taejun crying but I didn't find her anywhere in the house. I tried calling her cell but she left it at home. And there wasn't a note anywhere." Mrs. Park explained and tsked in the background he could hear Tajun crying. "Aisshhh where could that girl go so late at night? It's been at least a year since her last episode, I thought she was getting better."

Pressing the speaker phone button on, he placed the phone on his bed as he threw on some clothes he randomly grabbed from the dresser. "Mom go comfort Taejun, I'll find noona."

"Alright," she agreed hesitantly, "You don't think she's-"

"She's fine." He assured, "She's fine," he confirmed again, he wasn't sure if it was more for his mom or himself. "I'm gonna go now, I'll call you if I find her." He informed and tapped on the end call button. Why now? She hasn't had ran off in the middle of the night in so long that he almost forgot she had the tendency of going missing. Releasing an exhausted breath, he grabbed his baseball jersey. As he was about to head out the door, his calendar caught his eyes. His eyes trailed over to the box that was circled in red...October 21st. "", he cursed under his breath, knowing the exact cause of her disappearance. Three years ago he had received a very similar call.

Lips mashed together as their hands worked hard to feel up one another as much as possible. They separated for a moment to pull off his shirt before melding their lips back together. Just as they were making their way onto her bed, his phone rang a special ringtone that was only meant for one. He pulled away, knowing exactly who was calling. Only one person had that ringtone. "Don't pick it up." His companion murmured as she pressed her lips on his collarbone.

Ignoring her request, he grabbed his cell and headed back to the hallway where he had shed his jacket. It was on the seventh ring by the time he picked up. "Hello?" He was met by a long moment of silence before he heard a choked out sob.

"Se-Sehun," the voice on the other end stuttered. Sehun frowned, this is the first time he had ever heard her so fragile. "Chanyeol-he's-" she sobbed.

A chill ran down Sehun's spine, he gulped, afraid of what was to come. "What noona? What happened?" Did he hit her? No, Chanyeol loved her too much to do that. Did they have a fight? They were the happiest couple he knew besides his parents, it seemed impossible they would fight.

"Chanyeol...he's been in a car accident." She finally managed to sputter out. Sehun fell onto his knees for the first time since he turned into an adult.

He felt as if the air had been knocked out of him. "Is he okay? What happened? Where are you?!" There was so many questions he wanted to ask.

"We're at Seoul Hospital..."

In front of Seoul hospital a car screeched at the sudden stop made by its reckless owner. This was the place she had disappeared to when she had her first episode. Jumping out of the car as fast as he could, he raced inside. "Excuse me, have you seen a woman with brown hair around 165cm around?" He asked as he gasped for breath.

The nurse in her mid twenties haughtily pointed over to the right as payback for being rudely awaken. "Maternity wing is that way."

It took a moment for Sehun to register what she said before he furiously shook his arms around. "No, I'm looking for my sister in law."

"Oh," the nurse's mood brightened a little after noting how cute the guy in front of her was. "What's her name?" she inquired, her finger tips hovering over the keyboard ready to type the name. And maybe get the hottie's phone number if he was single.

"Sheeee's not a patient." Sehun replied. When she arched a brow at him as if to say then what, he added. "She's missing and I was wondering if you've seen her around."

"It's been pretty quiet tonight...why would she come to a hospital?" Was she mentally insane?

He released a disappointed sigh, "Thank you." He began to walk away but stopped mid-step. "If you happen to see her, could you please call me immediately?" He grabbed a piece of paper and pen off the counter and scribbled his number. "Thanks." Sehun thanked her one more time before rushing back into his car.

The nurse frowned, staring at the cute guy's chicken scratch, wondering if she should save his number and text him to hangout some time. That's just too creepy, she thought to herself. Plus she had an inkling from the way he was reacting, he and the missing woman were more than just brother and sister in law relationship. And a woman's instinct was always correct.

Skidding into the emergency wing, Sehun glanced around for the familiar brunette. He spotted her sitting alone with a car seat next to her near a big set of glass doors most likely leading to the surgery room. "Noona..." he slowly approached the trembling hunched over figure. When she didn't respond, he laid a hand on her shoulder.

His sister in law looked up, eyes blood shot with tears streaking down her face. His heart ached at the sight but he shoved the feeling back down. Now wasn't the time. "Sehun," she mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Any news?" From the look on her face, he knew there wasn't any. But he had to ask.

She shook her head, "Nobody would tell me anything, only to wait." Yoona stared angrily at the ground. "I'm his wife! how can they not tell me what's going on?!"

"Hyung's going to be fine." Sehun promised, sounding more confident than he felt. "Did you call my parents?" He asked, diverting her attention if only for a second.

Before Yoona could respond, two distant voices called out their names. A couple near their late forties still adorned in their pajamas ran up to them. "Where's my baby?" The woman glanced around frantically.

Automatically Yoona and Sehun's gaze wandered over to the set of doors with the big red neon words emergency on top. A heavy silence enveloped them, each lost in their thought of why they were there.

A few minutes later, maybe half an hour or even a couple hour later, it was hard to tell, time passed by so slowly, a doctor came out of room that was meant only for the severely injured. "Chanyeol Park?" The doctor asked as he took off his face mask, blood splattered all over his surgery gown. Four out of the five members jumped to their feet and gathered around the doctor. "I'm deeply sorry-"

The rest of whatever the doctor had to say was lost to Yoona. All she saw was his lips moving but no sound came out. Her husband was dead. Dead. She fell onto the ground, the reality of the situation too great for her to handle. What had happened? One minute they were at home enjoying their time alone, Taejun finally fell asleep, then Chanyeol went out on a diaper run and in a flash she was a widow.

Time stood still for the Park family as each member wallowed in their own sorrow at the loss of a family member. The sound of a distant crying jolted Sehun back to the hospital room. He glanced to his parents who were comforting each other while Yoona sat lifeless on the floor like a broken doll. Where was the sound coming from? Realization dawned on him when his eyes landed on the covered car seat, Taejun. His hands wrapped around his sister in law's arm and pulled her from off the ground. "Noona, Taejun's crying." he called out to her. "Yoona." He tried again, lightly slapping her on the cheek but received no response. Her eyes were void of any emotion, soulless and bleak.

Stopping his car in front of an ominous entrance, Sehun opened his glove compartment for a flashlight. It didn't take long for him to find it, however he cursed at the size of the item. It was barely longer than a pen and it's head was around the same size as a quarter, he wouldn't be able to cast too much light with it. Turning off the ignition, Sehun stepped out of the car and entered the empty grass field of gravestones. "Yoona!" He shouted, his feet taking him down a familiar path. It's been a while since he last visited this place, too busy buried in work and attempting a social life, which mostly consisted him of in a club. But he knew she still visited at least once every week, bringing his brother flowers. Her reasoning was, "Chanyeol was always a happy person, he would be depressed with all these gravestones. He needs vibrant colors." As ridiculous as she sounded, she described her brother to the T. Chanyeol never did like graveyards, probably due to the enormous amount of horror movies they watched as kids.

His feet stopped in front of a headstone. Park Chanyeol, a loving husband, wonderful father, great brother, and amazing son. 1990-2018. Sehun sighed in disappointment, no sign of Yoona. And from the state of the flowers, he'd say she was going to have to bring a new bouquet. "Hyung, it's been awhile." Sehun murmured, a dull ache creeping in. He hadn't realized how much he missed his brother until now. He missed having someone talking to, sure he had friends, but it was different with Chanyeol. He missed goofing off with the man. He missed being a little brother. Staring down at the tombstone, he wondered if this is what Yoona felt like when she visited Chanyeol, a sense of loss that couldn't be cured. Or maybe this was how she felt all the time. In any case he still had to find her. Where would a widow go in the middle of the night? "If you're still around here...will you tell me where she is?" He wasn't a believer of life beyond death but at this point he was desperate. As he stood still, planning for his next location to search for the missing woman, he could have sworn he heard someone whisper the word "basketball" in his ear.

The funeral had taken place three days after the tragic accident. Friends and family came to pay their respects. "Sehun," Mrs. Park dragged her son to a corner when he came to check up on his family two weeks after the funeral. "Will you please talk to Yoona? She hasn't eaten since I don't know when. She's scrawnier than a twig...I'm afraid she's going to faint any time soon. She's always listened to you, talk some sense into her. She still has a son she needs to care for."

At the mention of his sister in law, Sehun gazed over to the widow sitting on the couch, who was staring at her sleeping son but not really seeing him. She hardly ever ate or slept since Chanyeol's death, her skin was becoming sickly pale. They were all worried she would collapse soon. "I'll talk to her." Sehun agreed, "don't wait up for us."

He had booked them a private room in a restaurant the three of them used to often go to. He made sure to order all of her favorites in hopes of awakening up her appetite. "Noona, eat." He instructed, placing a slice of meat in her bowl.

She shook her head, "I'm not hungry."

"Eat." He said, this time with more force.

Pushing away her bowl, she firmly repeated, "I'm not hungry."

"God damn it Noona! Eat it or I will force it down your throat." Sehun threatened, he was tired of seeing her like this. Unresponsive and emotionless, he wished she would just lash out, cry or at least do something that wasn't brooding. It wasn't like he expected her to get over Chanyeol's death, he just wanted her to move onto the next stage of grief. When she didn't respond, he sighed and tried another way. "Look, I know how you feel but-"

"You don't know half of what I feel." Yoona cut him off coldly. Nobody knew how she felt. She had lost her soul mate and best friend.

"You're not the only one who lost somebody that night. I may not have loved hyung romantically, but he was my brother and I loved him." He refuted, raking a hand over his hair in an attempt to keep his anger in rein. "How do you think Chanyeol would think if he saw you like this?"

Yoona snorted, "Well it's a good thing he's not here isn't it?"

"You're right and I'm glad he's not here. Because he would be disappointed if he saw you like this." Sehun said and cruelly added, "Even disgusted. You're not the woman he fell in love with and married."

Her head snapped so fast in his direction that he thought her head might fall off. "He doesn't have a right to be disappointed, he's the one that caused this!"

"You're really going to blame it on a dead man?"

"What am I supposed to do?"

The young man took a deep breath in, he was finally getting somewhere with her. "You cry and cry some more until there are no more tears. Then you move on, taking each day at a time."

"What if I can't move on? I miss him so much, it hurts to breath. I can't get him out my head. I keep thinking of all the what ifs. What if he hadn't gone on a diaper run? Or maybe if I had told him to go earlier or even later. There was still a diaper left..." Moist drops formed around the brink of her eyes.

"Don't. What's happened has happened. Don't torture yourself with the what if's. It won't bring hyung back. Nobody's expecting you to heal right away but you should at least try. For my parents, for Chanyeol, for Taejun...and for me. We're all worried about you." He urged.

"I don't even know where to start." She admitted, feeling helpless. Maybe he was right, it was time that she stopped mopping around. Her husband certainly wasn't the mopping kind. She could practically imagine him scowling at her for the state she was in.

"You start by eating." He pushed back her bowl with the tip of his chopsticks.

She nodded slowly and picked up her bowl and chopsticks. And stuffed a mouthful of rice into . Tears slid down her face but Sehun left her in peace. They were finally taking a step in the right direction.

As soon as he reached his destination, he sprinted in full speed towards the basketball court. He had a gut feeling that she would be there. When the court finally came in view with a lone figure sitting there, he slowed down his pace. She was safe, he released a breath of relief. He noted she was slightly shivering under her clothes. Draping his jacket over her form, he sat down next to her. No exchanges were made as he stared up into the star filled sky.

"I forgot to leave a note didn't I?" Yoona asked guiltily, glancing at the disheveled man. He looked like he got about as much sleep as she did.

"Mom freaked out when she realized you were gone." He bluntly told her as he always did. Speaking of his mom, he quickly sent her a text that he found Yoona and would bring her home whenever.

"Sorry," The older woman cringed. "I just really missed him tonight."

"It's fine." A comfortable silence formed over them, each deep in thought. "We thought you were going to commit suicide back then." Sehun voiced out of the blue.

"I thought about it at one point." She admitted. "Life seemed meaningless with him gone."

Although he had always suspected she had been on the verge of insanity, her confession still came as a shock to him. "So why didn't you?"

She smiled weakly. "I was too chicken to do it, you know how I am with blood." The first time she had seen blood was when they were preparing to pull a prank on Junmyeon. The boys had gotten chicken blood to put on themselves to scare their worrisome friend who acted more like their mom. At the sight of the red liquid, Yoona had felt queasy and soon fainted. Needless to say their plan was never executed.

He couldn't help but say, "You could've jumped out off a building. No blood."

"Are you suggesting that you're fine if I die?" Yoona pouted, feigning hurt.

"No, I was just pointing out there are more ways of dying than just bleeding out." Sehun replied with a small smirk on his lips.

"You jerk," her response caused his smirk to widen. He's missed this he realized, their usual bantering/teasing. Ever since Chanyeol passed away, the dynamics of their relationship changed to something that was more serious. "Besides," she added, stretching her legs out in front of her. "Someone really wise reminded me that this is wouldn't what Chanyeol would have wanted. Yeol loved life and enjoyed each day as it came, I should do the same. And I have people to live for." She said to him with a smile, the same smile he and his brother had been attracted to in the first place.

"You should tell that wise guy, how wise he is and treat him to dinner."

"What if that guy was only wise that one time?"

"Yah!" He yelled in protest.

Turning to stare at the moon, Yoona said, "You were right. Each day does get a little better. Sometimes I go on days without thinking about him and that makes me angry and guilty. How can I forget about him?"

"It's okay not to think about him everyday. Just because we don't think about him doesn't mean we don't miss him or love him any less. His still in our hearts." He comforted her and tucked a loose strand behind her ear. "This is what hyung would have wanted. For you not to linger onto the past."

"I guess you're right." She yawned as she placed her head on his shoulder. "Thanks Hun, for always being there when I need it. You're a really good friend."

Sounds of rubber ball pounded against the concrete like a heart beat. Sehun tried pushing forward while dribbling the basketball in his right hand. No use, Jongin had him blocked good. "Here!" Chanyeol shouted, waving his arms like a maniac. The younger Park brother passed the ball to his open brother. Catching the ball, Chanyeol ran full force to the basket and dunked the ball. "Not fair, you're too tall for me to guard." Baekhyun huffed.

Before Chanyeol could rebute back that he should have drank more milk as a child, a yell heading there way interrupted them. "Ginger stop! Sit girl! Sit!" A pretty girl in a rainbow colored halter top and light blue short shorts ran towards them dragged by a big white newfoundland. "Sit!" The pretty girl pleaded before losing grip of the leash. The six group of boys stepped over to help catch the dog. Thankfully and surprisingly, Ginger stopped running once she reached the basketball court. Taking her time, she sniffed each one of the boys. Finally deciding to sit between the park brothers, she their hands. "Thank you, thank you." Yoona gasped between deep breaths, finally catching up to Ginger.

"Is this your dog?" Sehun asked. The smirk on his face expressing just how entertained he was by all this.

"Ehhh, she's my friends. She's out of town and asked if I could take care of Ginger while she's gone." Yoona explained while picking up Ginger's leash and wrapping it several times around her wrist this time. She was going nowhere this time.

"You're going snap your wrist if she runs again." Sehun said, eyeing her tiny wrist. The dog looked like it weighed the same if not more than her. There was no way she would be able to stop it. Yep, definitely going to hurt herself.

"There's nothing else I can do." Yoona pouted cutely. "She won't listen to anything I say. She's a little demon."

Chanyeol stooped down to Ginger's level and patted her head, who gladly started his face. "Awww she doesn't seem so bad."

"Ginger stop," Yoona commanded, tugging on the leash to no use.

"Sit," Chanyeol instructed. To the amusement of everyone but Yoona, Ginger did as she was told.

"Why you little ," Yoona growled, glaring daggers at the dog who could careless.

As if to rub it even more in her face, Ginger rolled over when Sehun asked if she could do any other tricks. "Come on Ginger, we should let these guys continue their game." Yoona replied, choosing to ignore Ginger's provoking behavior. She only had to deal with the dog two more days before Taeyeon came back. And when she does, she's going to have to make her friend buy her a lot of food to settle the score. Despite using her full weight to pull the leash, Ginger hardly budged.

"Do you live close around here?" Chanyeol questioned, openly staring at the girl in front of him. She had pretty eyes.

"Ummmm," she eyed him warily, he didn't look like a creep but then you can't always judge a book by it's cover. She had forgotten her pepper spray at home and who knows if the cow will save her if he attacks her...

Noticing her hesitation and guessing she probably misunderstood his brother's intentions Sehun added, "Seeing as how your dog listens more to us, we can help you walk your dog back."

"Oh!" Yoona exclaimed. Red hues formed on her cheeks, slightly embarrassed by her over imaginative thoughts. Grinning, she pointed to the west. "I live a couple blocks away but what about your game?"

"We can play another time." Chanyeol waved his hand dismissively at his friends.

"Okay," she flashed them a million dollar smile, a smile the Park brothers were getting accustomed to.

On the way back to her home, they hit it off really well. So well, it only took a few months before they were dubbed "the three musketeers". Everything was perfect until one day Sehun had unintentionally changed the dynamics of the group.

At the dusk of dawn Sehun carried a sleeping Yoona into her room. After laying her on the bed, he removed her shoes and covered her up. Taking a moment to watch her sleep, he wondered what it would have been like if she had been married to him instead. Would they have been happy? Would they have a boy or maybe a baby girl? What would they name their baby? Who would their baby resemble more? After dreaming up a few more possibilities, Sehun sighed. His attraction for Yoona had always been there, he just didn't realize it until it was too late. From the first time he met Taeyeon, Ginger's owner, he fell in love with the short blonde, it was love at first sight. Her kind and bubbly nature, her natural talent at singing, her unique way of laughing, and her ability to take care of others.

It didn't take long before he asked her out to which she agreed. Unknowingly sending a ripple effect of Chanyeol asking Yoona out. A few months of dating later, he and Taeyeon mutually agreed they were only meant to be friends. That was when he started noticing everything about Yoona. And he meant everything, from the way she talked to the way she walked. He even knew the make up brands she used. His body would also react in a way that a teenage boy would when they saw a hot girl. In retrospect, Yoona had a lot of the same personality as Taeyeon, that was probably why he was attracted to the short blonde in the first place.

When he realized his feelings for Yoona, YoonYeol were already heading toward a serious stage. Before Yeol proposed, the selfish side of himself always used to think they would never last. Two years later they exchanged their vows in a beautiful church, he swore he had never seen his brother or Yoona happier.

Three years later and he's still secretly in love with Yoona, Sehun snorted. How pathetic was he? Five years of longing and loving his sister in law without ever telling her his feelings. Even if he did confess what was he expecting to come out of the relationship? She was Chanyeol's wife. And a part of him knew even after death Yoona would always belong to his brother. They were soul mates and he was only a bystander. Staring down tenderly at the sleeping beauty, his expression softened. Knowing her if he told her about how he felt, she would feel guilty. Questioning herself if she had strung him along. It would also put a strain on their friendship. He leaned over and pressed a kiss on her forehead. Maybe it was time to let go.

Head buried in 10 inches of paper, Sehun growled in frustration. He swears he works with a bunch of idiot. Loosening the black tie around his neck, he reached out for the phone. A knock on the door, saving his employee from being yelled at for a few more hours. "Come in." He grunted and slightly peeved his secretary hadn't warned him of anyone coming.

"Don't tell me you slept with another secretary." The intruder teased.

He heard her voice before he saw her but he knew who it was. "My secretary's on maternity leave and to be fair the last secretary literally threw herself on me. What kind of a gentleman would I be if I just kick her out?" Sehun argued back, the frown that had seemed etched permanently on his lips today upturned into a smirk.

"Mmhmm," Yoona replied back unconvinced.

"So to what do I owe the pleasure of having you in my office?"

Yoona lifted up the tote she brought in. "I brought food." She answered. Walking over to the round table on the left side of the room, she started setting up the meal she made.

Sehun sat down in a chair that came with the round table and watched as Yoona pulled layered bento box apart. The sun was shining against her accenting the contours of her face, her doe shaped eyes that always seemed to sparkle, her nose that was perfectly symmetrical to her face, her thin lips that would often turn into a pout when she was concentrating, his breath hitched suddenly a sense warmth spread throughout his body up in him. He had an inkling this was how a husband felt when his wife brought was like. He never wanted this feeling to stop. He wished time would stop at this exact moment forever.

"All set," she announced, placing a pair of chopsticks in front of him.

Breaking out of his admiration, he stared at the eating utensils then back at her. "Aren't you going to eat?"

"I ate with Yeol already." She replied with a smile, a smile that was only reserved for her boyfriend.

"Oh." He should have known. YoonYeol, as Baekhyun liked to call them, have been stuck at the hips for a month now. They did everything together. He was starting to question if they would ever break up.

The short and simple answer sent a hundred pound of guilt on Yoona. Ever since she and Yeol had gotten more serious, they've been neglecting to hang out with Sehun. What kind of a friend was she? "Hey, why don't we do something together this Friday? Just you and me." She offered. Starting now, she was going to try and be a better friend.

"Aren't you and hyung joined at the hip?" Sehun asked. "I wouldn't want you to go through a YoonYeol withdrawal."

"Shut up." She pouted, shoving a neatly wrapped spring roll into his mouth. "I miss hanging out with my best friend."

Despite knowing she was still very much dating his brother, he couldn't help but feel happy that she missed him. "Wmmsf sdfiwkd sdfk"

"What?" she raised a brow.

Swallowing down the roll, he repeated what he said. "We can go to Geondae."

"Uncle Hoo, Mama look!" Taejun yelled, kicking his little legs as his grandpa pushed him on the swings.

"Wow, you're so good!" Sehun complimented, giving the three year two thumbs up. In remembrance of Chanyeol, the Park family had taken the day off to spend the day at the park. The grandparents' spoiling their grandson as much as they could while Yoona and Sehun stood a few feet away.

"Let's go on a walk," Yoona suggested after making sure her son was safe with his grandparents. Sehun nodded and followed her into a deeper part of the park where it would be more quiet.

"I can't believe how fast Taejun's growing, I just saw him last week." Sehun said in disbelief.

Yoona nodded eagerly in agreement. "I know! He grew out of the pants I got him a month ago, it's ridiculous how fast his growing. And not to mention he's looking more and more like Chanyeol." Despite her whining, Sehun knew she was very proud of the fact that Taejun was a carbon copy of Chanyeol.

"Has he asked about him?"

"Twice, when he came back from daycare asking if he had a dad. I didn't know what to tell him so I ended up changing the subject."

He could only imagine what it was like when your child asks about their deceased parent, both horrifying and sad. "You could tell him how great of a father hyung was, how much he loved you and Taejun, how he always brought smiles to those around him. Tell Taejun the reasons why you loved hyung." Sehun advised, imagining if it were him dead what he would want his son to know.

Sehun was right. There was so much she could tell her son about his dad including all their grand adventures as the three musketeers...okay maybe not all of them. "You're right. Taejun should know what kind of a person Yeol was. I will start telling him about his dad tonight."

"You know speaking of dads, have you ever thought of dating again? Find a father figure for Taejun."

Yoona eyed the younger man suspiciously. "You sound like your mom."

He smiled back innocently. "She might have mentioned you receiving bouquets from one of your clients." When she didn't reply, he added. "She means well. She doesn't want you to end up alone all your life."

"I know," Yoona murmured. "I just need some more time...in the mean time I think you'll fit the father role quite nicely for Taejun."

He wished he could. "There's been something I've been meaning to tell you." He stopped walking suddenly and turned to face her.

"Okay."

"I-...For the last five years I've been in love with you. I've had these feeling since I broke up with Taeyeon, I've tried ignoring them since you were dating hyung but the feelings they just keep growing." Sehun confessed. When Yoona opened to speak he held a hand up. "Please let me finish. These last few months I've been conflicted if I should tell you or not about my feelings. How would you react? Would hyung approve? But after last night I realized liking someone doesn't mean you have to be lovers; sometimes you just have to be friends." What she needed wasn't a lover, she needed a friend, someone who understood her and could always remain by her side.

Yoona bit down on her lip. In truth she had known for awhile of his feelings for her. Her girlfriends had theorized he was probably secretly in love to her. Why else would a hot bachelor like him spend all of his time with her and his nephew? She had laughed it off and called them crazy. Then one day her eyes met his and she knew. The loving and gentle gaze in his eyes was just like the way Chanyeol used to look at her. She had been distraught after finding out the truth. Was she the reason why he hasn't found a woman and formed a family of his own? Had she led him on? More importantly how was she supposed to tell him she didn't love him in that way and still remain friends? In the end, she choose the selfish route and she said nothing. Ignorance was bliss and she couldn't lose him.  Like usual Sehun was saving the day, saving from having to make a decision. "Thank you Hun." She smiled gratefully to her best friend.

A sudden image of Chanyeol standing next to Yoona with his arms wrapped around her came to him. He had made the right decision, he decided as Yoona stood across from him in her white summer dress surrounded by trees and green pasture. His breath caught in his throat. It would always be Chanyeol and Yoona. Maybe in another lifetime it would be Sehun and Yoona.

Chapter 1: Okay, so.. I cried. It's a bittersweet story and so beautifully written. The ending is really zcxfsrwtx! My heart broke both for Yoona and Sehun. It broke for Yoona when she lost Chanyeol. You really did a good job at describing it, I felt as heartbroken as Yoona. It broke for Sehun because he can't have the girl he love </3 I can feel how much Sehun love Yoona and it's bittersweet :') Thank you for this beautiful story<3

Chapter 1: This was beautifully written. It's really hard to find well written fics here with good grammar and good English and the fact that this was Yoona and SeHun was even better. I cried at one point in the fic and that is something that not many writers can do. You have a talent and I am thankful of you for writing this. It's sad that SeHun didn't get together with Yoona, but it is for the best. Hopefully they can both move on to find others that complete them. :)
