In short, this is a story about the princess and the scholar being parents for the first time after the two worlds are united once again. (and Joohyun finally has her wish granted if you remember the ending of Neverwhere)
Foreword
So do you remember how that fairytale ended?
The princess’s eyes glint, “Wendy-ah, have you thought of having kids?”
The brunette is frozen by such bluntness for two seconds before suddenly sprinting down the hill. The princess is quick and chases her like a prey.
“Hey! Wendy! Wait for me! I’m not joking! I think we can try! Don’t run away! I love you!”
“Stay away from me, you ert! Don’t you come into my room tonight!”
And so, they live happily ever after.
What if I tell you it is actually not ended, yet, in those two united worlds?
A child is soon born after fairies and humans live happily together again, a child who truly represents this very integration.
It is a child who carries the blood of the key holders, who succeeds the powerful knowledge of the worlds, who is part of the proud lineages of the princess and the half-blood scholar.
And this is a story about this child, and the first-time parents of course.
“Wendy! I think the baby’s kicking me!”
“My dear princess Irene, did you get the milk?”
“Ah! Joohyun, she’s crying! It’s your turn to change the diapers.”
“Oh my god, Son Seungwan! She just talked to me! She just...... ”
And to them, it is a gift.
