Jungkook lied on the couch, watching Pororo. Yes, Pororo. He wore an oversized hoodie that reached his mid thighs and wore a pair of shorts. Mrs. Jeon walked to the living room with a plate full of apples, “so, how was your day?” Jungkook sat up and took a slice of it

“full of horror”

“why?”

Jungkook chewed the apple, “my crush has been bothering me all day long” he emphasized the ‘all’ with dramatic tone, being so close with his mom, it was easy to tell her this things and it’s not awkward at all

“is he the same person who kissed you?” Mrs. Jeon asked

“Eomma! How did you know?!” Jungkook was surprised, “I didn’t become your mom to not knowing anything about my son” Mrs. Jeon replied sassily, “speaking of your crush, I haven’t meet him yet” she continued

“you already did, actually” Jungkook said in low voice

“Oh! that tall blonde guy that came here? He is hot, actually. Don’t get me wrong, Jungkookie.” Mrs. Jeon held her hand up in defense before continuing, “I’m happy enough to have your dad, but to have a son-in-law like that, who would refuse? Is he smart?”

“genius. In physics and chemistry, thank you.”

“Perfect! The opposite of you since you quite dumb”

“Eomma! I’m your son!” Jungkook protested

The bell rang suddenly, Mrs. Jeon walked and opened the door, “good evening, Mrs. Jeon” she smiled wider as he saw the person, she noticed that the guy hid something because his arms were placed behind his body, “come in, Jungkook is waiting for you” the person frowned as he being guided to the living room

“speaking of the devil, he is here, Jungkookie” Jungkook turned his head really quick, revealing his puffed cheek out because of the fruits he stuffed inside his mouth and wide eyes

“so, you are waiting for me?” Zelo asked, Jungkook groaned as he threw his body to the couch, lied flat on his stomach, face pressed into the pillow but still chewing on the fruits inside his mouth, “I’m sorry, he is been grumpy lately”

“it’s okay, ma’am..” Zelo smiled, “I think I should start making dinner, right now” Mrs. Jeon said, Jungkook sat up and looked at the clock, “it’s still 5 p.m! you usually start cooking at 6!”

The blonde cleared his throat, “Mrs. Jeon.. before you go.. I want to say something and it’s about your son” he spoke seriously, the smile was gone

Jungkook tensed up, even Mrs. Jeon tensed up at this. “I’m sorry, but I like your son, and because I’m so selfish, I want him to be my boyfriend” Mrs. Jeon gasped, Jungkook gaped and there were a couple minutes of silence, “well, I didn’t expect this to happen, actually” she fanned herself

“I’m sorry”

“why you have to say sorry? It’s… good, to be honest. Haha—Jungkook, say something!” Mrs. Jeon slapped her son’s shoulder, Jungkook swallowed the apples in his mouth, “I..what should I say?! Eomma!”

“um.. you asking him to be your boyfriend, right?” Zelo nodded, “I think it's fine, since he has a big crush on you” she continued, hoping she would surprise the latter by saying that Jungkook loves him too

The said person smiled, “I know, he confessed twice to me.” the reply only added more embarrassment for the youngest, he looked at Jungkook, “so?”

“why did you have to do this?”

“so that you know that I really like you and you believe what I said, I wouldn’t lie to your own mom, would I?”

Jungkook stayed calm, even if inside he exploded like a firework, ‘what should I say? ‘yes, I want to’ No! that’s too girly! Or probably, ‘okay!’ Nah! too enthusiastic! ‘Yes, of course!’ Ugh! Too desperate!’ and finally he settled with “fine..”

“you doesn’t sound so excited, your crush confessed  to you, Kookie” his mom patted his cheek, “well, I’m going to cook dinner. Junhong-ah, stay here for dinner, okay?”

Zelo smiled, “sorry for the trouble, ma’am”

“Aw! You are so sweet, why Jungkookie won’t be like you?”

“Eomma!” Jungkook stood up, “just go away!” he pushed her to the kitchen, Zelo chuckled, the younger came back to the living room and sat on the edge of the couch and Zelo sat beside him, really close that their thighs touched, he put a big plastic bag on the table

Jungkook cringed, “um, there are many empty place to sit, why you have to be this close?” he asked, “I like being close with you” the taller leaned slowly

‘my bubble is invaded! Enemy is near!’ the younger pushed him away and sat down on the floor, eyeing the plastic bag, “what is this?”

“your favorite”

“if I found a granola bar inside, I’m going to kick you out” Jungkook said as he peeked inside the plastic bag, there were so many ice cream containers, he beamed at the sight and turned his head to Zelo, “you bought this all for me?” he asked, his voice got one octave higher because of excitement

“since I don’t know what flavor you like the most, I bought all flavors” Zelo admitted, Jungkook took out the vanilla one, “I like vanilla and cookies and cream, but vanilla better” he babbled, which the older found it cute

“I bet you are not a vanilla type” Jungkook frowned, “what do you mean?” he asked, “nothing, just eat that”

“I’m going to put these inside the fridge” he took the plastic bag and rushed to the kitchen, few seconds later he was back with a spoon, he sat down and started to dig in the ice cream

“why don’t you try to eat that with this?” he pulled out something from his pocket, Jungkook looked at that and groaned, “What’s with you and granola bar?!” the younger asked

“it tastes good when you eat this with ice cream” Zelo glided the tip of the snack along the ice cream, and earning protest from the younger, “No! Go to the hell! The oats stuck in the ice cream! You ruined the ice cream!”

Zelo held up the bar which the tip was covered by the vanilla ice cream, his inner ert thought strikes again as the ice cream melt a bit and dripping, “do you know what it looks like?”

“ty granola bar”

“no, I mean, look at this. Brown stick and dripping white cream” he was sure that his newly boyfriend would understand what he meant, he made it simple so that the other boy would realize and blush madly

Jungkook stuffed a spoonful of the ice cream in his mouth before answering, “trash. It looks like a trash.” The older boy stared at him disbelief, ‘he couldn’t be that innocent, right? Right?!’ he asked himself

Jungkook squinted his eyes, ‘what the hell? Why did he sent me an empty text?’

To: Jello
are you high?

From: Jello
I have nothing to say, I just want to text you

Jungkook grinned at the reply, ‘I’m going to melt! Really! He is actually really cute!’ he thought. “Oh! Our Kookie already has girlfriend?” Bambam teased, “it’s probably a boyfriend” Yugyeom spoke, Jungkook didn’t hear at the comments, he was focused on replying the older’s message

Bambam decided to peek on his phone, “Oh! the nickname is ‘Jello’, how cute~” he cooed, “’Jello’? you mean like Zelo hyung? the Choi Junhong?” Yugyeom asked, and it hit Bambam, “Oh my God! Is that really him?! You finally stop being dense and dating your crush?” the oldest shook Jungkook’s body

“W-wait! Yes! Stop it, Bambam..” and he did, “how?” Jungkook wanted to bite Bambam since he is so nosy, he didn’t want to spill the shameful scenario yesterday, “well, he brought me ice cream and I like ice cream”

“I didn’t know that you are that cheap” Bambam commented, “Yah! I also… Aish! You know that I like him, it’s not only because of ice cream.” Jungkook babbled

“He confessed to you?! So, he likes you, too? Isn’t that so cliché?” Yugyeom asked

Jungkook glared at him, “well, I’m sorry that I have a lame love story in college year” he opened the dance room’s door as they got there

“Oh, hey guys, you are early” Hakyeon smiled as the freshmen came inside the room, Zelo didn’t notice Jungkook because he attached his headphone on and doing God-knows-what on his phone.

Jungkook left the two and bounced before crept behind the older, he pulled the headphone off and whisper, “hey, blondie” the older froze when he felt a warm breath tickled his ear

He turned his head and found Jungkook grinned, showing his bunny teeth, obviously satisfied with the reaction, Zelo smirked, he won’t let him off until the younget got embarrassed, so he pulled the younger by his neck, earning the same voice as before and crashed his lips on the younger’s jaw

“nice to see you so hype up today, bunny” he his hand up and down on Jungkook’s neck, only to be swatted away, “I don’t like when someone touch my neck, dammit!” the older chuckled

“so, care to tell me what happened with you two suddenly being so touchy touchy?” Hakyeon crossed his arms and failed to hide his smile, “what are we, bunny?” he asked Jungkook who got quiet suddenly, “uh.. um.. couple?” he was quite unsure, but the older nodded, “yes, couple” he repeated the word, “this is my bunny” he pointed at Jungkook, “no one touch my bunny”

“possessive as hell” Hakyeon mocked, “Zelo hyung, just so you know, he saves your number under ‘Jello’” Bambam said, the blonde looked at Jungkook who nagged Bambam, “’Jello’? that’s cute. Do you know what is your name on my phone?” Jungkook stared at him, “what?”

Zelo opened his chat with Jungkook, “this” the younger looked at the top of the chat and noticed ‘Hot Bunny’ he suddenly blushed in embarrassment, “it sounds so dirty, I don’t even know why. change it”

“No” Jungkook wanted to say something but Hakyeon’s voice cut him

“okay, guys and girls, today I’m going to let all of you rest—”

“Hell yes!”

“let me finish, Jungkook. Only you and Zelo would stay practicing, since the last time you two didn’t practice”

“No! Hakyeon hyung, no!”

“Hyung, that’s not fair”

“I’m going to turn the music on” Hakyeon walked away from them, “get your asses on the center now” both of them groaned

Jungkook lied on the couch, watching random TV shows, it was boring, his mom is not at home, which also mean no food to eat, his stomach grumbled few times but he ignored it, since he just found the most comfortable position on the couch, then his phone buzzed

From: Eomma #2
Kookie, want to come to my house? I make samgyetang

Jungkook’s eyes lit up at the ‘samgyetang’, he sat up, completely ignoring the movie he watched

To: Eomma #2
Of course, hyung! should I go now?

From: Eomma #2
Wow! Easy, boy. If you want to help me make the dishes, you better go now, but it doesn’t make any difference, though. Your home is just few houses away from mine

He put on his jacket and took out his skateboard before locked the door

To: Eomma #2
I’m heading out, now

It didn’t take long, in a blink he already standing on the doorstep, “Jin hyung! Hyung! I come for food!” he knocked the door, a muffled chuckles could be heard before the door was opened, Jin crossed his arms, “go inside, and take off your shoes” he instructed, Jungkook didn’t waste more time, he put the board beside his shoes and run to the kitchen, Jin handed him an apron, “wear this”

Jungkook looked at the older, he also wore a green apron with frog in the middle, “should I? I don’t really mind if my clothes get dirty though” he said, clearly refusing to wear the yellow apron with little chicks splattered on it

“I also don’t mind, but your mom do. You better put it on, young man” Jungkook huffed, “this is so not manly” he complained as he put on the apron and tied it, “you are not manly, either” Jin scoffed, "hyung!"

“Jin, where did you put—Oh! hey, kiddo!” Jungkook turned around and found Namjoon with a box and wrapping paper, “what is that, hyung?”

“present for Jimin, his birthday is in two days” Jin answered before he looked at Namjoon and sighed, “the transparent duct tape is on the cabinet, Namjoon. You put it yourself last ti—”

“got it, Jin!” Namjoon cut his words before he could nag, “Jungkook, pass me the salt” Jungkook reached out and gave him

“so Jimin hyung’s birthday is on October 13^th?” Jin nodded, “what did you give him for present?” he asked again. “I gave him shoes.”

“I want to give him something too, but I’m poor” he said innocently, “treat him some ice cream or coffee, that’s enough, and it’s nice”

“want to go home together?” Zelo asked, the younger shook his head, “I want to buy a present for someone”

“who? Me?” Zelo's eyes lit up, full of hope

“Nah, why would I? it's for my hyung.” Zelo looked away, he was a bit upset by the reason, then Jungkook realized something, “Wait! When is your birthday again?”

“like it matter for you, anyway” he scoffed, Jungkook could feel a pang on his chest, “I’m sorry” he lowered his gaze, “Nevermind. You want me to accompany you?” the older’s question made the younger looked up, “is that okay?” Zelo shrugged, “why not? let’s go.”

“wait!” Jungkook pulled the hem of Zelo’s jacket, “tell me, when is your birthday? I’m going to be a really bad boyfriend for not knowing it. well, mine is—”

“September 1^st, I know.”

“how?!”

“you don’t have to know. Mine is October 15^th. You better get me something cool.”

The younger widened his eyes, ‘4 more days! What should I get him?!’

This is the last chapter before I start with my slow update for 3 weeks starting from today, and...
