The Cliff Anonymous (An Author's Mean Confession)
Description
Writers may look like they have already been talking too much, saying too much with their written stories. They may seem friendly and kind when conversing to you via author's notes and comment replies. It may seem like that's all there is to writers. It may seem like their life depended on you so they act warm and accommodating so they won't lose subscribers and voters.
I beg to disagree.
Because I am a writer, and there is another side that I don't normally show to the readers.
I may be all smiley and soft-spoken...but from time to time, I get pissed. REALLY PISSED OFF, and if you were to ask, it's because of the readers. I feel grateful of the majority, but some really stick to my nerves. SHHHHHHAAAAARRKKK!!!
If readers know that they're doing it on purpose or not, it doesn't matter.
This post is not for the readers. It's for the writers, and everyone else who might relate.
It's not about being read. It's about being written.
Again, it's not for the readers. Yes, readers who have the guts to demand for an update or another story, yet haven't written a single one, and probably don't know how much brain-squeezing you need to satisfy your readers and not.
This is an outlet.
This is the cliff where I shout my frustrations out, echoing out to the wilderness below me.
If you are a reader, why are you still lurking around this post? It's not for you.
Don't say I didn't warn you. If it's something that you'll get offended with (because it's about you), don't sulk afterwards. Sorry, I won't be sorry.
Don't go defending or bashing me in the comments section to represent your righteous army of readers who live by the consumer mentality of "the customer is always right"...because I will bash you back.
Don't like what you read? Then get the hell out.
You are standing on my way, and I just might push you off the cliff.
