Drunk Mistake

To say that Eunbyul woke up perfectly fine would be a lie, because as soon as she opened her eyes, a painful throb flashed through her orbs at the beaming sunlight peeking through the curtains. Groaning and rolling over onto her stomach, the girl burrowed herself deeper into her blanket when a crackle was suddenly heard. Frowning, her hand reached out to grab a hold of the paper fluttering beneath her fingers.
"What-" her breath caught when her eyes settled on the familiar handwriting she knew all too well.
Yah, next time don't drink so much, A little bit more and you might have vomited on my upholstery.
There's aspirin on the kitchen table, and some breakfast in the oven. Take it, eat and go sleep. Hoseok"That's a nice way of showing he cares" she muttered under her breath, heaving herself up and managing to walk to the kitchen table. She gulped down the aspirin gratefully, and it was only when the glass touched her lips that it hit her like a rock slapping her across her face. His lips. On hers. His hips grinding. Heat to heat. Body to body. Fingertips grazing his scalp, him groaning under her touch. Oh . , she felt like cursing when her hands reached up to her hair and pulled in frustration, what did I do?! She touched her lips out of mere reflex, the scent of his breath still lingering at the edge of her tongue, and she almost slapped herself in mortification. How could she have let herself go with him, of all people? The most important question was; how was she going to face him after all this? Her phone rang, causing a sting to vibrate against her skull and jumble up her thoughts. There was one thing she knew for sure and that was that she was never to drink again. The consequences were too much to take. "Hello?" She whispered with her raspy morning voice, clearing twice as she heard her scratchy tone. She hadn't checked the caller ID, and much less expected the velvet tenor that greeted her and made her almost do a double take, "Eunbyul?" Damn it. This was not the time for him to be calling with that friendly concern of his, not when he was the main focus of her thoughts. With a resigned sigh that she hopes he had not heard, she replied a soft, "yeah?" After a soft pause, he chuckled a little, and that caused an unintentional stirring in her stomach, "you, my friend, are so hungover" "Not in the mood" she grumbled. "Did you take ur aspirin?" "Mmhm" Hoseok shuffled a little then answered, "do you uhm- by any chance- remember anything?" "NO!" She replied a little too quickly, then tried to redeem herself in vain, "I mean-yes uhm- no no!" The awkward atmosphere settled over them like a heavy blanket, and Eunbyul held her breath and mentally cursed herself for not watching the words that spilled out of before she thought about it twice. Could he hear how fast her heart was beating? "Look, Eunbyul-" "I have to go, I'll talk to you some other time" She hurriedly said before cutting off the call and letting her head fall into her hand. She was ed, big time. Whatever had happened between them could ruin their friendship, Or was already ruining it for that matter. But she had to sort out her feelings; did she really love Hoseok enough to let go of Baekhyun? If she asked that question to herself so simply, then she'd definitely choose the former, but was it such a wise decision to let Baekhyun go? After all, she had become attached to him. But he really hurt her feelings last night when he had ignored her calls and actually snapped at her. It hadn't been the first time really, it had started off with small annoying retorts but recently he really started getting under her skin. He'd snap at her for being too caring, too attentive when what she meant was to take care and make him understand that she was there whenever he needed it. It looked like he made it a point not to understand. She had understood him at first maybe, she made excuses for his attitude, but she had a limit as well. She could not take it anymore. Whereas Hoseok, Hoseok was a burst of light into the darkness of her life. He was all smiles, bright, happy and most of all he was there when she needed someone. When she needed the comfort, he lent the protection of his arms, and he listened. He always had an ear out to catch her secrets, and she was grateful that he did not ask anything in exchange, except for her to listen to his deepest fears as well. At this moment, she knew what she had to do. Not even brushing her hair, she hanged into a pair of jogging pants and a loose tshirt before rushing out of the door.
