" I gotta stay high all the time to keep myself from missing you."

"You should go home"

"No!" Eunbyul giggled loudly and managed to straighten her body as the pulsing blue and purple lights beat down upon her dizzy figure. It was a miracle she was still standing up, for her mind felt woozy with the five and more shots that she's guzzle down . It was pulsing now, burning with a violent fire that was dimmed by the alcohol. Her senses seemed off and yet she felt like she was the happiest person on earth standing atop of the world with arms wide open and accepting the breeze of freedom.    Maybe she had had a little too much to drink, just a little bit. But Eunbyul felt like she needed it, she needed to get away and escape from the memories that haunted her. With he alcohol dulling her system, The pain did not feel as bad, the pain was a forgotten feeling- something that she dusted to the far corner on the back of her mind.    "Eunbyul, I really think you should go home" her friend, Saehee, tugged at her shirt sleeve, "I'm calling J-Hope oppa"    "No!" Eunbyul shook her head at the thought of worrying the boy. Having been acquainted for quite some time, J-Hope had made her world more bubbly with life which was one of the reasons of Eunbyul and her boyfriend's argument in the first place, that they were perhaps too comfortable with each other. Seeing him now would just make her weaken and feel like spilling the beans to him, especially when Hoseok did not really like her boyfriend in the first place.    "Byul, you're drunk." Saehee's voice seemed as far as the nile river and yet the glowing screen of her phone was something that Byul saw with a clear precision as her friend's thumb moved at a rapid speed across the touchpad and whipped it to her ear, watching Byul with a face of remorse like a mother reproaching her kid. Byul felt like reaching over to slap the device away when Saehee suddenly spoke into the phone with a more than aggravated tone.   "Hoseok? It's Saehee"    Pause. Then, "I need your help. Are you free right now?"    Eunbyul tipped her head back to drown the last remaining drops of her vodka, "It's Eunbyul, she's drunk and we need someone to get her home"  Her head was throbbing, her heart pulsing like she had just run a race, and oh my god, she felt great!   "Okay, okay" Saehee nodded, "I'll wait, call me when you're here"    The latter turned to realize that her drunk friend was nowhere to be found and her eyes flitted from left to right, a small groan escaping her lips, "Aish! I turn my back for two seconds and she's already gone!"    Eunbyul meanwhile, decided to cool off by dancing and she realized that the music bursting through the speakers were one of her favorites. She sashayed in and out of the tight knit groups of people, swaying here and there while bobbing her head back to the rhythm. This was what she wanted, screw Byun Baekhyun who never made time to see her, screw him for making her fall into his trap believing that love was a magical fairytale when in truth it was no more than a nightmare. How could she have missed all the signs before? Either she was too dumb to care, or had kidded herself that maybe for her, he'd change and be different, act different because she was special.   Who was she kidding? She was all but special.    She didn't know how much time passed as she kept dancing to the music, but it felt like a little while later when she heard Saehee's voice very far away from her ears. The girl could've been standing next to her and Eunbyul wouldn't have noticed.    Hands grabbed at her hips so suddenly she jumped and cried out.   Ready to whack whoever had dared lay a hand on her, she spun around to catch sight of familiar brown pupils staring down at her with worry swimming in the border of his eyes.    "Urgh! Why'd she call you?!" Eunbyul's sloppy mouth spilled her thoughts without any consideration of the man's feelings as she pushed at his forearms and tried to wriggle away from his grasp. The last thing she wanted was for him to see her in this nervous wreck. She wasn't ready to face anyone and to think rationally, today she only felt like having the time of her life and making as if everything was right again.    "Eunbyul, let's go home" Hoseok's deep tenor rang inside her eardrums, sounding a bit ier when it resonated inside her skull.    She scowled back at him, "Leave me alone!"   He took a hold of her arm- gripping her firmly like he was never letting go- before directing himself towards the entrance while pushing past the crowded bodies mushed together and moving with the beat of the music. The girl stumbled after him, trying to keep her stability while feeling the anger pulse through her veins at his intrusion. Of all times he had to show up, this was the worst yet and numerous times opened to curse at Saehee when she realized that the brain signals sent to her vocal chords were either slow or just too inhibited by the amount of alcohol consumed. Groaning internally in her mind, Eunbyul let herself get dragged into Hoseok's car before a plastic bag was under her nose.    "I swear to god that if you vomit in my car, you're paying for the damage" he put the car on drive mode, swerving out of the parking zone. The world spun around Eunbyul for a moment, head pounding with the dizziness that caused her stomach to lurch to the side. She could've been in a rollercoaster for all she knew, because the way it was going, she felt her life was about to end in seconds. The boy looked over at her- who had crouched and had her head buried in the plastic bag- and sighed at her shaking body. She was impossible, she had promised him not to go out whenever she was upset and clearly, seeing her now, something had bothered her enough for her to drink like a mad dog. No matter how much he tried pulling her out of this bad habit, he'd find her running back every time there was an issue she could not deal with.    Eunbyul mumbled a string of nonsensical things and Hoseok spared her a glance, "what?"   She mumbled again, her words muffled by the bag. He sighed and didn't even try to understand as most of the time, what she said to him in her drunken state was nothing worth remembering.    Reaching her flat complex, the boy waved as a sign of hello to the guard who opened the gates, pretty accustomed to having Hoseok around. He parked his car swiftly and quickly went to the passenger seat, unbuckling Eunbyul's seatbelt and throwing her arm around his shoulder. "Come on" he grunted before heaving her to the elevator and pressing the right button.   Great, it just had to be that her flat was on the last floor of the complex, like Hoseok didn't have enough of all this today.    "Hoseokie~" her voice was a whisper in his ear, hot and breathy from the effect of alcohol. He had to remind him
