Being alive was worse than being dead.

Everything… gone.

Nothing remained in her possessions.

Her parents…

Her siblings…

Even Ren…

Burned to ashes.

What will happen to her?

There was no reason to live. Her family was dead. Nothing was left.

What could possibly be waiting for her in this life?

Rage filled her.

She was angry at herself for not being strong enough to save her family. Even when she closes her eyes for a moment, she could still imagine what happened as the fire consumed her house. Ren’s cries for help and then the voice disappeared.
