[Seohyun's POV]

The next morning, Kyuhyun and I woke up to the fresh aroma of pancakes sprinkled with maple syrup. It was a huge contrast compared to the dull setting we were in.

"It smells heavenly," I giggled, sniffing the air. "I wonder who's making it?"

Kyuhyun still looked drowsy from last night's sleep. I wondered if he slept well - because I sure did. The mattress they had here was even softer than the one I had at home!

He tickled my chin. "I don't know. Jieun, I guess."

"Oh yeah?" I retorted playfully, hitting him with a pillow. "Excuse me, who says guys can't cook?"

"Whatever," Kyu said, laughing back.

For one moment, I felt my smile was glowing. This was a really good start to our new lives.

When we had dressed, we went out to the table. To our surprise, Wooyoung was at the stove, wearing a checkered apron and humming a song as he flipped the pancakes onto the plates.

"Okay," Kyuhyun whispered to me. "Let's pretend we didn't see anything. Before we hurt his ego when he finds out that we catch him wearing an apron."

But it was too late. Wooyoung had turned around, carrying the plates.

He stared at us.

We stared us.

His eyes widened.

We almost thought he was going to drop the plates, but he didn't. He himself looked extremely relieved that he didn't break them. "Jieun would kill me," he explained, wiping his hands on a cloth.

When we stared at him some more, he started looking defensive. "What? Haven't you ever seen a guy cook? Jieun always sleeps in anyway, and I don't want her to starve."

Kyuhyun nudged me, and the both of us nodded understandingly at the same time. 

"Ha," I said to him. "See how sweet Wooyoung is? He cooks for the girl he loves."

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes teasingly. "Yeah sure, I'll cook for you when we get married, Seohyun."

"Idiot! Who said I was going to marry you?" My cheeks flared red and I blushed. Wooyoung smirked. "You two are hilarious. Now, are you going to sit down for breakfast, or are you going to continue acting all lovey-dovey? It's so sweet that you probably won't even want any maple syrup to go with your meal."

Both of us blushed this time and we sat down. I took a big bite of my pancakes. "This is delicious," I went, my mouth full of crumbs. "Do you actually take cooking lessons?"

Wooyoung smiled and pointed to the cooking book near the stove.

"Jieun likes to cook ... but it most often ends up disastrous. I'm a better learner," he said proudly.

"You wish," snapped a voice behind us. We turned - it was Jieun. She looked messy because she didn't brush her hair yet, not that she cared. "What's for breakfast?"

"Pancakes," Wooyoung said back. "I know you like strawberry jam to go with yours, so I got a jar of that yesterday." He lifted it to prove his point.

Sometimes it puzzled me. Jieun never seemed to show her affection openly for Wooyoung, yet he had no qualms when he did that for her. Did he really love her so much? She was one lucky girl.

The expression on Jieun's face softened. "Thanks," she replied, smiling.

[Yoona's POV]

Oh God, this is killing me.

The guards sure know how to lazy about, huh? We've already sent so many of them out to look for Kyuhyun and that girl, and yet they still dare to come back empty-handed. 

If I could hang them one by one, I would do so with immense pleasure.

Fine. Since this isn't working, I'm not going to stay by myself here in this palace and mope. I'm going to go out and look for those two. I don't believe they could have gotten very far anyway - they've only been gone for one night!

I went back to my room, packed a bag full of clothes, and dressed myself. If no one is going to help me get Kyuhyun back, then I shall be the one to do it.

Both of them aren't going to enjoy their happy lives for much longer. Guess what? Im Yoona is going to destroy every single thing they have together, by hook or by crook.

... I'm losing my mind nowadays.
