Chapter 13
Friends, Love, Betrayal*Baekhyun's POV*
In the dorm, I was with Suho hyung and Minseok hyung talking about our
practice. Usually,at this time, I would play with Chanyeol but... I
don't know if it's just a feeling or something. I've been noticing him
going out alone and when I asked him, he'd avoid me. Did I do
something wrong to him?
"Why're you spacing out, Baekhyun?" Luhan hyung asked, patting my
shoulder. "Thinking about Taeyeon?" He teased and laughed. I smiled,
half heartedly shaking my head.
"Nothing, hyung. I was just thinking, Chanyeol had been avoiding me,
do you agree?" I asked for his opinion on Chanyeol's behavior lately.
Luhan hyung thought for a while. "Really? But you went out together
last night." That statement made my eyes widen. "He said you guys went
out to eat meat." He added before manager hyung called for him.
"Sorry, I got to go." He smiled and ruffled my hair.
'We didn't...' Park Chanyeol, where did you go last night and why did
you lie to Luhan hyung?
~Hospital~
*3rd's POV*
Dahae stared at the person who just entered her ward. Her gaze
sharpened at the person. "What the do you want?" She hissed.
Chanyeol gulped. "I-I came to v-visit-"
"Visit?" Dahae scoffed. "Why would you want to visit a 'sasaeng' who
attacked Taeyeon? You and your members said that about me!" Her voice
was raised. "Get out! I don't want to see you, or Taeyeon or anyone
from you members-"
"Especially Baekhyun?" Chanyeol's statement made Dahae stop in mid
sentence. "Is that why you're like this? Because of him?" He asked
making Dahae's eyes water but her glare didn't disappear.
She was still mad. Very mad. She's raged! "You don't know anything!
Stop sticking your nose in someone else's business! Get out of here!"
She demanded, throwing her pillow at Chanyeol which he caught easily.
Her tears were at the brim of her eyes and only waiting to fall.
Chanyeol approached her and tried to take her hand but he was caught
in surprise when she slapped him across the face. Hard. The red mark
plastered on his cheek but he didn't give up. He took her wrists as
she struggled for him.
She struggled and yelled to let go. Even though Chanyeol is the happy
virus but he had his limits too.
"Dahae!" Chanyeol raised his voice making her stop. To be honest, she
was scared of his angered expression. "There's no use to act strong
and denying the truth!" Tears were at the corner of her eyes.
Chanyeol's expression soften and wiped the tear with his thumbs.
"There's no use...struggling away from a broken heart..." It almost
sound like a whisper. Upon hearing that, Dahae's tears rolled down her
cheeks, bursting out crying.
Chanyeol smiled lightly when she didn't struggle from him anymore and
brought her to his chest so she could cry out her pain. "It's okay to
cry. I'll protect you from now on." He assured, her long hair
lightly. "No one will hurt you now."
Dahae cried and cried and it seemed to past an hour until her cries
died down. Chanyeol looked at her and noticed she fell asleep. He set
her back to lie down and tucked her in. He stared at her sleeping face
before he goes home.
Before he left, he set a small teddybear on her nightstand. In the
bear's hand, a note was left.
'I'll come back tomorrow'
