“Don’t come down, I’m on my way up.”

Seungyoon makes sure all is covered well before he bounds up the stairs two steps at a time and gets to the front door where Jinwoo is waiting for him with his arms crossed.

“Welcome home, Seungyoonie.” Jinwoo opens his arms, wraps them around him and nuzzles. “I missed you.”

Seungyoon wraps his arms around him as well, immensely enjoying just having him in his arms. This was one of the things he looked forward to whenever he came home. Gone are the gray silent days of him being alone in this place. He’s got housemates now that keep his days light, Seunghoon and Jinwoo.

“You got back late tonight.”

Jinwoo said worriedly.

“And I can’t find Seunghoon anywhere.”

Jinwoo looked around to emphasis having looked everywhere as if having lost a precious possession of sorts.

“He’s not coming home tonight.”

Seungyoon tries to sound as nonchalant as he can.

"Work. Overnight."

He said after getting a blank look from Jinwoo, probably still trying to figure out what Seunghoon could be doing.

“Oh?”

Jinwoo untangled himself from him, confusion evident in his face.

“He didn't tell me.”

Seungyoon shrugged and looked away, he disliked lying to Jinwoo but he had to. Also, he promised Seunghoon. He stepped into the kitchen with Jinwoo following behind him. Food was sitting on the table and it was set for three, as usual.

While Jinwoo was in the shower later that evening, Seungyoon pulled out one of their newly laundered bed sheets and spread it over the couch. Once done he took his pillow from their bed and tossed it on top. Bending down, he smoothed the sheets, tucking the edges neatly.

"Seungyoonie, what are you doing?"

Jinwoo was standing right behind him, fresh out of the shower. Stray droplets of water from his hair fell on his shirt creating a few dark wet patches. The nobleman was freshly scrubbed, pink, and glowing. Seungyoon instantly regretted looking at him as he felt the temperature in the room rise. It felt odd not having Seunghoon there to trade knowing glances with.

                "Jinwoo, dry your hair properly!"

He fake grumbles, diverting his gaze in hopes of getting himself together, his adam's apple bobbing.

"You're gonna end up catching a cold at that rate."

Cold fingers landed on his skin and Seungyoon flinched at the contact. Jinwoo right now is quickly becoming too much for his heart to take. It didn't help that they were alone and that along with the knowledge that Seunghoon won't be back til the next day, made for a very serious and worrying situation.

                "Why is your pillow here?"

Jinwoo continues unknowingly, reaching for said item.

"And sheets too, you covered the couch..."

Seungyoon has never had a problem with sleeping alone yet hours later he is lying on the couch wide awake. It's dark and quiet, too quiet, which makes Seungyoon certain that Jinwoo is still up as well. He managed to convince him to sleep on the bed tonight but the nobleman made it known that he wasn't happy about it at all. Seungyoon could still recall the desolate expression Jinwoo had and the way his shoulders slumped as he trudged to bed slowly after he had inadvertently raised his voice at him in agitation.

He didn't mean to and he felt guilty about it but deep down he knew that it was for the best. Seungyoon rolled on his back and glared at the ceiling. There was no way he could tell Jinwoo about the crazy hammering in his chest and the coiling heat that settled in the pit of his stomach, or that he craved him in a way that he knew Jinwoo wasn't ready for.

Seungyoon's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps. He squeezes his eyes shut and hopes for the best. Seconds later the footsteps stopped right in front of him.

                "Seungyoon."

Jinwoo called softly, Seungyoon was set on ignoring him, hoping the he'll eventually give up and go back to bed but he knew he couldn't anymore after he heard the rest of his words.

"I know you're still awake."

Seungyoon slowly opened his eyes, not at all surprised to find the nobleman hovering over him. Cold fingers descended on his skin, slowly running along his jaw as Jinwoo leaned down and whispered to him,

"I can't sleep. I need you closer."

Unable to fight the rapidly swelling ball of emotion in his chest, Seungyoon’s eyes can only wordlessly follow Jinwoo as he places a knee on the edge of the couch to steady himself, slipping into his arms and curling against him. The couch is too small for two and before Seungyoon can even fully realize what he was doing, he already has an arm around Jinwoo's waist to keep him from sliding off.

Sleep was now the furthest thing from Seungyoon's mind. The two of them lying there so close together made him feel like a fish out of water. Jinwoo was pressed against him with only the thin fabric of their shirts as a barrier between skin. Had this been any other night, Seungyoon would have gladly welcomed Jinwoo in his arms. Tonight, however, he knew that this was not a good idea.

 “Seungyoon?”

Jinwoo had this inquiring gaze, like he was thinking hard about something, which he most likely was. Seungyoon couldn't help but swallow, mouth going dry as Jinwoo inched his beautiful face even closer to his. He can smell the flowery scent of shampoo on him and at that moment Seungyoon wanted nothing more than to touch every bit of him his hands can reach and claim him until he’s panting against his throat and screaming his name.

"Are we okay?"

Jinwoo's hands rose to cup his face, his thumb lightly grazing Seungyoon's cheek in the dark. Seungyoon was desperately trying to hold on to his wits and not make a sound that would give away his precarious predicament. His hand on Jinwoo's waist starts to tremble as he tries hard to will away the taunting second voice in his head.

"Did I do something?"

Jinwoo's fingers curled around his neck, lightly rubbing the skin there. Seungyoon was unprepared for the sudden surge of heat the motion caused. He bit his lip just in time, suppressing a moan. He had dalliances before and they satisfied his physical urges but this thing with Jinwoo, he just couldn't risk it, not when Jinwoo has come to mean so much more.

So, Seungyoon does the only thing he can do and that's to untangle Jinwoo's fingers running through his hair and pull away from him. A shock and hurt expression graces the nobleman's face and though Seungyoon wanted to comfort him and hold him in his arms, he turned away.

                "We're fine."

Seungyoon assures him, trying hard to keep his composure.

                "You didn't do anything wrong."

"If what you’re saying is true, then will you please stay with me?"

 Jinwoo asked, tugging him closer.

The nobleman eventually fell asleep pressed against Seungyoon’s back, his arms around Seungyoon's waist. Seungyoon slowly and carefully edged himself out of his embrace, making sure to replace himself in Jinwoo's arms with his pillow. Jinwoo shifted as he did so and Seungyoon froze in his spot, breath abated. Luckily, he didn't rouse. A soft sigh escaped Jinwoo's lips as he cuddled with the pillow in his arms.

Seungyoon felt like screaming in frustration yet honestly, there was a part of him that felt relieved as well. There was no way that he can sleep, something that had been stirring low in his belly needs to be taken care of now, else he doubted he can keep his sanity with him for much longer. Seungyoon takes one last glance at Jinwoo’s serene face before softly padding away to the bathroom.

He heads down the warehouse moments later, careful not to make too much noise. Lifting the tarp from earlier, he procures some of the items he hid there - a newly bought huge bag of deflated balloons in various colors and a hand pump. Grumbling over his surreal sleepless night, Seungyoon started to inflate the balloons one by one.

Just before daybreak, Seungyoon carefully hid everything under the tarp again, including the inflated balloons. He headed back upstairs and tiptoed towards the couch, gingerly taking his pillow away from Jinwoo as he carefully eased himself back into his arms. He was fast asleep and still in the same position Seungyoon had left him in earlier. The breathtaking nobleman is an early riser and Seungyoon thought it best for Jinwoo to find him there as usual.

When noon came around hours later, Seungyoon knew that he had to somehow get Jinwoo out of the house. He barely smoked his way through Jinwoo's questioning regarding Seunghoon's whereabouts. Truth be told, Seunghoon told him he'd be back before noon but they've already finished lunch and still the spaceman hasn't turned up. Seungyoon gritted his teeth; their original plan was for Seunghoon to accompany Jinwoo to the supermarket. During that time Seungyoon was supposed to pick-up the cake, decorate their place, and then meet up with the pair. Seunghoon would then head home to cook and he would keep Jinwoo out until all is ready. Seungyoon knew that time travel is tricky business, what if Seunghoon missed not just by a few hours but days? After realizing how dire the situation is, Seungyoon decided to formulate another plan.

Seunghoon leaned back in his seat and exhaled loudly as the engine of his ship slowly shut down only leaving a few of the interior lights on. It was a close call and had the wormhole not appeared there at that time, Seunghoon was sure that he would probably still be playing a game of 'cat and mouse' with him. He shook his head at the thought, what mattered most is he got back just in the nick of time.

Seungyoon had his arms crossed over his chest. He was standing in front of the ship's hatch and the moment it opened and Seunghoon stepped out, the musician was quick to nag.

"What time do you think it is?"

 Seungyoon starts,

"You said you'd be here before noon!"

Having gotten used to it, Seunghoon bypasses him and Seungyoon as usual was unrelenting.

"Jinwoo's been asking me about you since last night."

Seunghoon smirks, delighted to know that Jinwoo didn't forget him.

"I had to lie so much just to cover for you!"

Throwing the front door open, Seunghoon was pleased to find their home decked out. A huge banner that read 'Happy Birthday' was on the wall along with light colored crepe streamers. Seunghoon gave the whole place a look-over and couldn't help but whistle, Seungyoon did a much better job than he thought.

"You did pretty good, Seungyoon-ah!"

He patted his back a few times.

"But what's with all the balloons? Don't you think it's too much?"

Stringed balloons were floating, gently hitting the ceiling - that Seunghoon expected BUT the ridiculous amount of stringless balloons covering the floor was a whole other story, Seunghoon couldn’t even see past his knee anymore.

                "Shut up."

He heard Seungyoon mutter under his breath, ears turning red. Seeing Seungyoon's reaction, a certain thought flitted in his head. He slung an arm around him and pulled him close.

"Seungyoon-ah, did something happen with Jinwoo while I was gone?"

                "Nothing happened!"

Seungyoon defensively exclaimed moving away from him but his reaction only spurred the spaceman on.

Something must have happened. Seunghoon wasn't surprised; Jinwoo could be such a tease at times. Seunghoon himself learned this the hard way. He mentally patted himself at the recollection. How he had managed to keep his cool at that time still amazes him. Interestingly enough, Jinwoo himself didn't seem to realize any of this.

"How far did you get?"

Seunghoon pressed, immensely enjoying the way Seungyoon squirmed under his gaze.

"I just told you, nothing happened!"

 "Really?"

He teased.

"You're no fun Seungyoon-ah. And I gave you a chance too."

Seungyoon lightly pushed him off shooting him a somewhat cynical glare.

“Don’t get mad.”

He chuckled, running a hand through his hair.

“I’m just tired...and a little jealous.”

Seungyoon’s expression softened at Seunghoon’s revelation.

Truth be told, Seunghoon was more than a little jealous. The night was long and there was a lot that could have transpired between the two, things that he’d never really know about but would always wonder about.

"Had it been me, I would have."

Seunghoon admitted, lightly kicking some of the balloons that covered the floor.

"Until he tells me to stop."

There was silence for a few minutes. Seunghoon quietly watches Seungyoon out of the corner of his eye, coming aware of just how much of himself he sees in him.

"And if he doesn't tell you to stop?"

Seungyoon’s voice has gone much lower, much softer. Seunghoon knows what’s in his mind, they’re on the same boat after-all. He looked away, a heavy sigh escaping him as he stuffed his hands in his pockets

"You're a man too. You should know."

The first thing Jinwoo noticed as he neared their home was that it was too quiet. Seungyoon should be home and whenever he was there was almost always music of some sort playing, may it be one of his numerous CD’s or him simply strumming his guitar as he crooned ballads at the bottom of the stairs.

Did he go out somewhere? Jinwoo wondered. He felt a little dejected at the thought that he might be home alone for a while again. Turning the corner, he entered the warehouse and paused slightly. Jinwoo can make out the spaceship under the tarp, its wheels still visible - Seunghoon is back. His eyes darted around but there was no sign of the spaceman anywhere. Without much thought, Jinwoo ran up the stairs and before he can even reach for his keys to unlock the door, it slowly swung open.

It was dark inside and the moment he stepped in he felt something brush against his leg. He was about to reach for the light switch when he noticed a soft warm glow from within followed by the sound of Seungyoon’s guitar.

생일 축하합니다 / (saeng-il chukahamnida)

생일 축하합니다 / (saeng-il chukahamnida)

Jinwoo was rooted on the spot, Seunghoon and Seungyoon were walking towards him. Seungyoon had his guitar with him while Seunghoon carried a cake with the candles all lit up.

사랑하는 진우씨 / (saranghaneun Jinwoo-shi)

생일 축하합니다 / (saeng-il chukahamnida)

                “I…are you sure?”

Jinwoo asked as he stared at the pair, skeptical.

                “For me?”

“Well, I don’t see any other ‘Jinwoo’ around here but you.”

Seunghoon smirked, beside him Seungyoon smiled.

“You two...”

Jinwoo’s mouth opened slightly, eyes widening a bit,

“...I don’t know what to say.”

“Then don’t say anything at all.”

Seunghoon stood in front of him, cake in hand.

“But you should make a wish and blow out your candles, at least.”

Jinwoo was feeling elated. It was his birthday and he was celebrating it with the two most important people in his life right now, Seunghoon and Seungyoon. He watched the pair briefly argue over which slice of pizza was bigger and had plenty of pepperoni, laughing loudly at the way Seungyoon pouted after losing the slice to Seunghoon after a bout of rock, paper, scissors. Seungyoon dejectedly headed off to the kitchen while Seunghoon turned towards him, pulling him up and off the couch.

“What is it?”

Jinwoo’s brows furrowed, watching the spaceman quickly finish his pizza. Seunghoon grabbed him by the elbow after and looked him square in the eye,

“Come.”

They headed downstairs with Seunghoon leading him by the hand. Once there, Seunghoon pulled him towards his ship.

“Are we going somewhere?”

Jinwoo asked, hesitant to get in the ship.

“How about Seungyoon?”

“Sit.”

Seunghoon ordered when they got inside, lightly pushing him down on his usual seat.

“Jinwoo, you’re the most beautiful, kindest, sweetest person I know...”

The spaceman started, catching Jinwoo off-guard as he got down on one knee, took both his hands and held them in his.

Jinwoo’s shoulders started trembling as he tried very hard not to laugh. It seemed that his two husbands have mastered the art of cheese behind his back. If Seunghoon was like this now, he wondered briefly just how much worst Seungyoon got.

          “Ya! I’m serious here!”

Seunghoon exclaimed, taking notice. Jinwoo rolled his eyes at him.

“I was actually hoping you’re not.”

“You don’t like it?”

Seunghoon asked, pulling his hands.

“Hmm, you sounded too much like Seungyoon.”

Seunghoon seemed to consider this,

“You’re right.”

“Of course I am.”

 Jinwoo replied pompously.

“And to think I practiced saying it in front of the mirror too.”

The spaceman grumbled.

Jinwoo pulled his hands out of his grasp and ran his fingers through Seunghoon’s hair. The spaceman responded by rising and pecking his lips lightly. Jinwoo blinked up at him, astonished at the contact. Seunghoon placed a hand on the nobleman’s shoulders and leaned forward again, pleasantly surprised when Jinwoo made no move to stop him and simply closed his eyes.

Seunghoon smiled at this and kissed his forehead instead. The nobleman opened his eyes and raised a brow.

“Did you take me here to seduce me?”

Seunghoon stared at him for a while and then asked in a serious tone,

“I can’t?”

Jinwoo started laughing, grabbing Seunghoon’s face in his hands, he leveled it with his.

“Of course you can. Anytime. But seriously, what are we here for?”

There was a sudden strange glint in Seunghoon’s eyes, Jinwoo is perplexed when the spaceman left him in his seat and walked towards the back, returning only seconds later with a leafy plant in a red pot that had ‘feel my love’ on it.

“For you.”

Seunghoon tells him, placing it on his lap. Jinwoo quickly wrapped his hands around the pot as he examined the plant before him. Its leaves were in the shape of hearts and it had a strange red tint to it.

“It’s called the ‘hugging plant’ in my planet.”

Seunghoon explained. The spaceman then proceeded to tell him about his lengthy journey pausing every now and then to make sure that Jinwoo is still listening to him. When he finished he looked very pleased with himself.

“I think the trip back was too much for them. Just give them a bit of time to recover.”

Just as Seunghoon said that a little long-stemmed leaf moved towards Jinwoo and pressed itself against his bottom lip, it was then followed by a few others. They pressed themselves against Jinwoo’s cheeks, hands, and arms. Seunghoon laughed at the sight with Jinwoo joining him.

“Alright, you had your fun!”

Jinwoo heard Seunghoon declare moments later.

“Now it’s my turn.”

Seunghoon took the pot away from him, setting it down on the floor close to the hatch. Jinwoo started laughing again when he saw the red heart-shaped leaves clinging on to Seunghoon’s arms. The spaceman eventually got the leaves to leave him be and he promptly returned to Jinwoo’s side.

“I missed you.”

Seunghoon whispered when he reached him, burying his head in the crook of Jinwoo’s neck and lightly nipping him there. The nobleman blushed and Seunghoon grinned as he watched the rosy glow spread from his cheeks. He loved knowing that he had this effect on Jinwoo. Drawing close to Jinwoo’s face, their breaths mingling, Seunghoon caught his lips in a feather light kiss.

“I could do this all night.”

Seunghoon tells him between playful pecks,

“You are just so irresistible”

                “I think I know what you’re doing, Seunghoon-ah.”

“That’s good.”

The spaceman responds, pulling back a bit to stare into his eyes.

“Then you should know what I’m about to...”

Seunghoon doesn’t get to finish the rest of his words as Jinwoo tugged his shirt, their lips crashing. It was bold, startlingly intimate, and every brush of Jinwoo’s tongue against his made him ache for more of him. Seunghoon placed his hands on Jinwoo’s waist, pulling him flush against him and kissing him back like his life depended on it.

Their lips moved with fervor and Seunghoon could feel something akin to a flame running through his veins. Jinwoo’s lips against his are scorching and if Seunghoon didn’t take control now, that flame might just burn through him. Who knew the nobleman can kiss like this?

He drew back slowly from Jinwoo’s lips, breathless. The nobleman kept his eyes closed and Seunghoon’s heart swelled as he realized that Jinwoo was clinging to the emotion and hunger that burned between them. He leaned in, tempted to claim his lips again, when the nobleman suddenly opened his eyes, an amused smile on his lips.

“So, was that good enough for my birthday gift?”

Seunghoon raised a brow, lips quirking into a smirk. His Jinwoo was being a tease again. Leaning down he kissed his forehead and tapped his kiss-bitten lips with his finger.

                “Not quite.”

When Seunghoon and Jinwoo returned upstairs, Seungyoon was nowhere to be found. Jinwoo carefully placed his newly acquired ‘hugging’ plant on the kitchen counter before checking on Seunghoon who was now getting ready to get in the shower. Once the water started running, Jinwoo went down the warehouse again to look for his cat and Seungyoon.

He managed to find and secure his cat rather quickly, as for Seungyoon, he couldn’t find him anywhere. When he got back upstairs, Seunghoon was already awkwardly lying on their bed. His legs were dangling off and he was softly snoring. Jinwoo quietly approached him and gently fixed his position, lifting his legs off the floor and pulling the covers around him.

About half an hour later Jinwoo is seated on the couch, balancing a plate of half-eaten sliced cake on his knees. He was staring blankly at the tv, the prongs of his fork tucked between his lips. He let out a low sigh, this is already his third slice of cake and still there was no Seungyoon. He let out another sigh as he got off the couch and headed to the kitchen, covering his half-eaten cake with plastic wrap and cramming it inside their too full fridge.

                “Seungyoonie…”

He breathed out in a whisper, giving in to his state of solitude. He stares at the couch longingly, recalling how uncharacteristically cold Seungyoon had acted just the night before. A strange lump forms in his throat at the recollection along with a strange tight feeling in his chest. It was strange not having Seungyoon there. They’ve only been living together for a few months yet Jinwoo could barely remember his life before Seunghoon and Seungyoon came along.

Seungyoon is alright, he’s probably on his way back…  He tells himself, repeating it in his head a few more times. Coming back home... Coming back to us…to me… Coming home to me…

Jinwoo takes a moment to steady himself. But what if…

About fifteen minutes later, Jinwoo is leaning against a tree and catching his breath. The late evening chill of autumn has now caught up to him, lightly nipping his bare legs and arms. Not far from where he stood was the music shop, the only place he hasn’t checked yet.

Frustration settled in the pit of his stomach once he was standing in front of the shop, finding it dark and quiet inside.

“Why aren’t you here?”

Jinwoo muttered, wiping his eyes with the back of his hands.

“Just where did you go?”

And as if in response to his query, he heard the distinct sound of guitar strings being randomly plucked. Jinwoo froze in his spot, breath abated, waiting to hear the sound again and the moment he finally did, his breath hitched and he let out a small sob in relief.  Placing his hand on the front door, he gave it a little push, feeling elated when it swung open with no resistance.

The little bell hanging above the door made a sound as he entered. The shop was shrouded in darkness save for the loft where a dim light was glowing. Seungyoon’s soothing voice then filled the shop and Jinwoo was rooted on the spot as he sang, the melody and the lyrics captivated him completely.

If you didn’t exist,

I would still just be me.

I’m the number zero, empty inside.

You’re the one (1), the light that filled me

That’s right, you plus me is one.

I’m nothing, a zero (0).

You’re the one person who looked at me.

That’s right, you plus me is us.

One final strum and the song he intended to sing for his special someone ended just like that, unheard. How anticlimactic, Seungyoon thought to himself as he slowly opened his eyes, chuckling a bit despite the pang he felt in his chest.

“It’s beautiful.”

Seungyoon’s heart rose in his throat. Swiftly turning his head towards the voice, he finds the nobleman he was just thinking about standing at the top of the stairs, lightly clapping as he smiled.

                    “Jinwoo…”

Seungyoon whispered.

“But how? Why?”

“I… um…”

Jinwoo trailed off. He looked indecisive for a moment but he eventually moved forward and stood in front of Seungyoon.

Seungyoon set his guitar aside and looked him up and down. Jinwoo’s hair was disheveled; he was wearing his old loose t-shirt, thin-fabric shorts, and house slippers.

“I got scared. I thought you weren’t coming home anymore.”

The despair in Jinwoo’s voice made him feel guilty of the thoughts he had earlier, that along with the way he had acted the night before.

       “That’s never going to happen.”

He told him gently.

“Do you still remember what I told you when you first came to me?”

Jinwoo nodded weakly.

“I said…I’ll always take care of you.”

Tears started to pool in the corner of Jinwoo’s eyes and before they could fall, Seungyoon rose from his seat and pulled him into his arms. Jinwoo buried his face in Seungyoon’s neck. His skin was cold and his tears falling on Seungyoon’s shirt tugged greatly at his heartstrings. Seungyoon gently his hair, murmuring to him that he shouldn’t worry and that everything between them was alright.

Finally, Jinwoo’s tears subsided. Seungyoon pulled away from him a bit, brushing away some of his tears with his hands. After that, he led him towards the couch and had him sit down.

“Do you want something warm to drink? I have some tea and coffee downstairs.”

Seungyoon offered, sliding his jacket off and draping it over Jinwoo’s shoulders.

                “No.”

Jinwoo said softly, shaking his head lightly. Seungyoon looked at him again and hesitated

“But aren’t you a bit cold? You ran out of the house looking like that.”

He pointed out.

                “Not if you’re here.”

Jinwoo scoots closer, a determined look on his face.

“Don’t go anywhere and just stay here with me.”

They sat together in the couch in silence, letting minutes tick by. Seungyoon touched Jinwoo’s leg lightly making the nobleman stare up at him with curious eyes. He only smiled at him as he pulled Jinwoo’s legs on his lap, his shins gently. Jinwoo repositioned himself to get comfortable, pressing his back against the arm of the couch.

      “I’m sorry about last night.”

Seungyoon said, breaking the silence. The nobleman turned to look at him again, his eyes carefully watching him. Seungyoon waited for him to say something but he simply remained quiet.

      “I was nervous.”

 Seungyoon admitted, biting his lip.

“We were alone and I didn’t know what to do.”

Jinwoo put a hand on his arm and gave him a little squeeze.

“You weren’t the only one.”

 He said quietly,

“I was nervous too.”

                “You mean...”

Seungyoon asked, his question trailing off, hands terribly shaking as he took Jinwoo’s smaller and paler hand in his. Looking down at their clasped hands, he marveled at how perfectly they fitted together. A nice tingling started from where their skin touched and Jinwoo moved in closer, their faces only inches apart.

                “Jinwoo...”

He murmurs, meeting his gaze. Something flickers in Jinwoo’s eyes and whatever courage Seungyoon had left seemed to have left him as he simply sat still and waited. Jinwoo knew, of course.

                “Seungyoon…”

The way Jinwoo said his name almost kills him.

                “Yes?”

He breathes as Jinwoo leaned in, gingerly, as if he’s testing boundaries.

“May I please kiss you?”

Seungyoon couldn't help the pull in his belly as Jinwoo’s eyes meet his again, a faint blush prettily coloring his cheeks. Seungyoon couldn’t think, couldn’t breathe - he can hear his heart beating wildly in his chest as Jinwoo tilted his head up and pressed his lips to his, slow and gentle.

A sudden wave of heat raced through him and the torturous slowness was enough to make him lose control. Seungyoon moved his tongue along Jinwoo’s lower lip, asking for entrance and Jinwoo easily gave it to him, parting his lips and letting him taste every bit of him. Seungyoon’s hand rested on Jinwoo’s chest, reveling in the feel of the thin fabric against his skin along with Jinwoo’s strong heartbeat that matched the beat of his own.

Jinwoo eventually stopped the kiss, pulling away from him and watching him carefully, waiting.

And Seungyoon really hoped this was it as he leaned closer.

“Can I kiss you this time?”

Unable to hold himself back, he didn’t wait for Jinwoo to answer; he closed the gap between them, their lips meeting again. His fingers weaved themselves into Jinwoo’s hair, eventually going under his perfect chin, savoring the moment as he pushed him down on the couch and kissed him thoroughly. A delightful burning sensation coursed through his body, a fire he had never experienced before.

Seungyoon pulled away minutes later, just an inch or two to catch his breath, staring into Jinwoo’s eyes, the eyes that he had so deeply fallen in love with. The delicate expression on his face made Seungyoon’s heart swell; shivers ran down his spine as butterflies flew around his stomach.

                “You’re so beautiful.”

He whispered to the nobleman lying under him.

A shy smile followed by a rosy blush spread out Jinwoo’s face at the compliment. He tried to cover his face with his hands but Seungyoon stopped him, leaning down again for another kiss. The kiss was reminiscent of their first, soft and gentle, that is until Seungyoon moved away from the nobleman’s lips and started kissing along his jaw, leaving a scorching trail of kisses down the side of his neck and started .

Delicate moans flew from the nobleman’s red swollen lips and the moment Seungyoon’s fingers crept under Jinwoo’s shirt, the nobleman shuddered against him, leaning in to his touch. Seeing this, Seungyoon gently cupped Jinwoo’s cheek, catching his lips in a hungry kiss. Jinwoo moaned into his mouth, one hand tightly gripping his shirt and pulling him closer.

“This is like that drama you’re watching...”

Seungyoon said when they parted again, both of them panting heavily.

Jinwoo laughed

“It’s a really good drama. I like it.”

                “I know you do.”

Seungyoon replied with a smirk.

“And I think we better stop here or else...”

                “Or else...”

Jinwoo softly asked.

“Are you seriously asking me that right now, Kim Jinwoo-shii?”

Seungyoon’s hand slowly crept up Jinwoo’s leg as he said it. Jinwoo’s breath hitched, cheeks burning even more as Seungyoon’s hand skimmed his thigh and reached the hem of his shorts,

      “I think...you’re absolutely right, Kang Seungyoon-shii.”

He said in a shaky tone.

Seungyoon laughed out loud at the nobleman’s response and lifted himself off him, it felt so good to simply have Jinwoo there so close to him. Taking his phone out of his pocket, he took a quick snap of his madly blushing Jinwoo who smiled shyly at the camera.

“I have something for you.”

He told him after noticing the time, only three minutes to midnight.

“What is it?”

Jinwoo asked, sitting up and looking very interested. Seungyoon reached inside his other pocket,

“Give me your hand.”

Jinwoo did as he was told, seconds later Seungyoon is placing a thin bracelet on his wrist. The nobleman raised his hand up once it was on, examining it. Noticing the familiar little triangular piece of plastic hanging down from it, he turned to look at Seungyoon, his heart skipping a beat.

 “I made it myself.”

Seungyoon told him, staring at Jinwoo then at the bracelet now around Jinwoo’s wrist.

“My guitar strings.”

He said, pointing at the thin twisted bands.

“My guitar pick.”

He added, pointing at the triangular piece of plastic. When Seungyoon turned to face Jinwoo again, their faces are a lot closer than he thought and Jinwoo was silently staring at him. Was Jinwoo looking at him that intently the whole time? He wondered, feeling giddy.

“I love it.”

Jinwoo said to him in an intimate whisper.

“I’ll wear it all the time.”

“I made it just in time, Happy Birthday.”

Seungyoon whispered back, their eyes locking. Jinwoo nodded and shifted closer to him,

“Thank you,”

He said before cupping Seungyoon’s cheek and kissing him softly. When he pulled back, he had a gentle expression on his face.

“I’m really glad I met you.”

He said quietly, gazing into Seungyoon’s eyes. Seungyoon’s lips curved into a dopey grin, before pecking Jinwoo’s lips a final time,

“And I’m really, really, really, really glad I met you too.”

Authors note: So the second part of ch.4 is here. Did your heart beat faster? Those kisses *u* oh my~

Seunghoon managed to escape Taehyun, but as you probably remember was he snooping around the neighbourhood earlier. Did he really manage to get away from him with that wormhole? and what about Mino? hum hum~

Anyway Christmas is coming up soon. I and Jean are organizers part of a project to bring joy to incles during the holidays. We will also be writing for the project so go have a look over on LJ: win-derland. Because of that might our own projects be a little delayed. We are sorry about that, but hey you get stuff to read either way right? ^-^ You can submit prompts to the project as well so maybe one of us will be writing your prompt this Christmas?

Chapter 2: First of all, I like how SY, the plump lipped person^^, gets jealous at every Jinhoon interaction^^ hahaha
Jinwoo is the cutest here half-asleep-dazed dreamy creature, that sometimes gets very curious and enthusiastic♡ SY cracked me up, sitting in a child seat with pink straps - it was cute!
I loved their travelling to SH's world and it felt so futuristic and colorful with all the descriptions. The pictures worked really well with the story! BTW what are those letters that SH took with him??? You left me curios here^^
