Foreword
The time we were happy..
Childish of them to think forever even existed. 'Friends forever', they'd chant to the chilly, winter air and to the clear northern sky and sometimes to the twinkling southern stars. A course of a river runs in one way, but sometimes rivers are divided. Time did not allow for them to be together any longer. One by one, they all stopped believing. They all packed away those toys they cherished so much, along with them were the memories of the smiling faces of the people they endearingly called their "best friends". Crumpled youths and tattered souls, their courses were different from one another. But rivers divided will meet once again in the ocean.
