3 Why a calligraphy shop?
I'd say that this is a shop for graphic/poster artists who want their titles to be calligraphed and lovely-looking, but really, this place is for anyone. If you want a calligraphed quote to go on your profile or dp, then why not? Heck, if you need some typography for a school project or whatever, I'm fine with it. Want a really sick quote on the foreword of your story? I'll be your main man.
4 Why calligraphy - wouldn't a downloaded cursive font be quicker?
Calligraphy is an art. Most cursive fonts you can find on the iIternet were handdrawn once, but, on the computer, are stagnant - there are only 26 variations of letters you can use.

Calligraphy, on the other hand, is different. Calligraphy is beautiful, because it's authentic and unique. Usually, set fonts don't give words the artistic freedom they deserve. Just look at the poster of this shop (which was handdrawn and edited by me, by the way) - no two letters are the same. Each letter has its purpose, and is allowed to interact with others, as well as the word in its entirety. The tail of the 'g' spans bellow 'Calli', filling the space below it, and a similar principle aplpies to the 'p'.
Every typographist has his or her own style, and their own ways of filling space with creative letters and curves. It's like a painting - painted not with acrylic, or watercolour, or ink - but with words.
