1. BL1 || brush lettering one

• Thicker, broader
• Solid lines, clear and defined
• Direct and bold

2. BL2 || brush lettering two

• Fuzzier
• More textured
• Wispy and compact

3. C || copperplate

• Done with a dip pen instead of a brush pen (BL1&2)
• Thinner upstrokes, heavier downstrokes, more area for flourishing (aka fancy swirls, not shown in above picture)
• Greater sense of structure and formality

4. MC || modern calligraphy

• Also done with a dip pen
• Uneven , highs and lows
• More casual, while still maintaining the thin upstrokes and defined downstrokes

5. HL || hand lettering

• Drawn with felt-tip pens, 'faux' calligraphy
• Mix between brush lettering and copperplate - freedom to adopt/combine whichever style
• Those swirly lines up there? Flourishes!
