He stared across the room, watching the crimson blush spread rapidly across Hanbin's face as the younger wiped embarrassingly at the beer he'd just spit out all over the place as soon as the dare had crossed Chanwoo's lips.

The words echoed in Jiwon's head.

Hyung, I dare you to kiss Hanbin-hyung. On the lips. And a real kiss, nothing cheap.

It was a stupid idea, a crazy idea, a really bad idea.

Donghyuk had already stood up to go get the tonic that Jiwon would have to chug as penance for dodging the dare, like it was a foregone conclusion that this one was getting skipped. Junhoe was telling him that he needed to start breaking past everyone's foregone conclusions about him.

Jiwon took a deep breath. Now seemed like as good time to start. It was a perfect opportunity, really.

He smirked, hoping to come off as nonchalant, even as his heart threatened to pound right out of his chest. "Well a dare's a dare. Pucker up, bin," he challenged.

Deer-in-the-headlights probably wasn't Hanbin's best look, but Jiwon still couldn't help but think that he looked beautiful; couldn't help but be taken in by Hanbin's wide eyes.

It's just a kiss, Jiwon told himself. And if he'd been imagining for months what it might be like to kiss Hanbin....Well no one else needed to know about that.

Hanbin still hadn't said anything, as Jiwon crossed the room and took the vacant seat next to the younger on the couch.

It was just a kiss. Just a random opportunity to steal a kiss without any need for declarations of potential gayness.

With a deep breath, even as Hanbin continued to stare at him like he had two heads, Jiwon leaned in.

It was like kissing a statue, at first, until finally something clicked and Hanbin started kissing back. Kissing Hanbin was a revelation. Just that one moment, and Jiwon felt like he'd never be the same.
