Park Chanyeol's POV

I went home with a heavy heart. My body was totally torn out, and my mind flied somewhere. I was so disappointed to Solji this time. Seriously, though I was her boyfriend, I couldn't relate to her feeling. Did she hate me? Why did she act so cold? It was just like I was stabbed by someone whom I would put as my priority whatever happened. I just wanted to be with her, that was all. But, it seemed saloon's appointment was way more important than spending time with me.

Forgetting about my problem, I had promised with Nayoung to spend my evening with her. Well, at least I got someone who would always cheer me up. Nayoung was my only friend where I could share my sadness and cry on her shoulder. Perhaps it was because we had been knowing each other for pretty long time that I wouldn't be embarrassed to show my weak side.

I picked some clothes from the drawer after I bathed. I picked up my clothes so easily. Contrary from what I experienced whenever I was about to meet Solji, I would always put my best effort for choosing the right attire to wear. Well, Hayoung wouldn't protest for whatever I weared anyway, so I just went with some random clothes since my mood wasn't totally favorable to do such thing. I looked at my reflection in the mirror, just made sure that everything was matched well. After felt satisfied with my entire looks. I went outside my house to fetch Nayoung.

"Hello? Nayoung-ah, are you ready? I'm now heading to your house." I informed Nayoung by phone.

"I will be ready in five minutes!" she sounded in hurry.

I sighed. Common words from a woman, I thought.

"Five minutes? You mean your five minutes?" I asked sarcatically.

"Alright. Alright. Five minutes. Literally." I could sense she was annoyed.

"Well, I am waiting at your door." I reported her. I spent about only four minutes walking to reach her house.

"Already?!" she said in panicked tone.

"Our house's gap is just five meters." I found it was ridiculous for her to wonder such thing, like she didn't know it before. It was just like I never fetched her.

Ha Nayoung's POV

I tried my best to look idyllic in front of Chanyeol. I didn't want to be looking just like another girl. It was so hard to ask Chanyeol out when he was in bad mood. I changed my clothes for almost tenth times already. Why today there wasn't any right thing to be put on? Ugh. It was getting frustrated as I saw my hair was a mess. I had not done my hair yet when a call from Chanyeol came. I gasped knowing that he might be outside.

"Hello? Nayoung-ah, are you ready? I'm now heading to your house." he said to me.

What?! I screamed out loud mentally. Chanyeol always informed me at the last minute. He would always call me whether he was in front of my house already or he was about two meters away from getting here. Well, it was also my fault too. I should have been prepared earlier since I knew it would happen.

"I will be ready in five minutes!" I lied, giving him a fake hope while wriggling into my shorts.

"Five minutes? You mean your five minutes?" he busted me. I couldn't deny though, he knew every single of my trick.

"Alright. Alright. Five minutes. Literally." I surrendered. He won, I didn't want to ruin his mood even worse. I was the one who insisted him to be out in the sunny, and surely thorned day for him.

"Well, I am waiting at your door." he told me with so much ease like seriously, did he realize he was talking to a girl? he just like asked me to be faster. I hadn't done with my things yet, since I had to divide my focus to dress up and keep talking to him.

"Already?!" I exclaimed with fast-paced breath that could be heard in the air.

"Our house's gap is just five meters." he replied. Well yeah, that five meters , it could be advantageous some way, but it just gave me trouble in another way.

I hung up the call. I was rushing to do my hair and put my clothes on. So now, after so many trial of determining the right outfit, I had to wear clothes that honsetly was my first choice. I ran downstairs swiftly and bid good bye to my mom who was watching some drama on TV. I opened the door and found Chanyeol who was tanning under the hot sun though it was 4 p.m. Today's weather didn't seem too good for going out but it was perfect for having some ice cream.

Just like I planned before, we stopped by to buy some ice creams. Chanyeol, as expected, was being a gentleman and treated me. Finally, I could see smile was perfectly formed on Chanyeol's face although it was just because he enjoyed the ice cream. He never changed. Despite he was so manly outside, everyone whom was close to him knew that he was practically a child-like personal.

"So, you said you will treat me at the usual place?" Chanyeol cracked the silence and dissolved my daydreaming him. He ate the cone in one swallow while looking at the traffic jam a few meters away from us.

"Sure. But, do you mind if we go to some place first?" I asked, while gripping my hands, feeling nervous.

"Fine. But, where?" he, in a second, replied me.

"Um, just follow me!" I pulled his hand. I could see Chanyeol was all startled since I did a sudden move.

I ran a little like a child. Chanyeol, weirdly, just followed me around. He even laughed once. I thought he would resist to run like a child in the street where all people might look at us oddly, probably glare to us since we had a big possibilty of bumping to people who were wandering around. We arrived at a hat shop. I knew Chanyeol was addicted to hats. He collected numerous and various kind of hats. He set his eyes on me, and I was dare enough to bet that he was confused why we came here.

"Why are you sculpting? Are you planning to stay outside?" I was the first to enter the shop, leaving Chanyeol who hesistated at the door.

I turned my head, questioning why Chanyeol hadn't followed me and stayed still outside. I gave Chanyeol a gesture meaning to ask him to hurriedly enter the shop. He nodded meekly and I could see clearly he gulped his saliva.

Park Chanyeol's POV

I was taken aback the second my feet were in front the shop. My eyes got widden as I could feel my eyes began to produce tears and were ready to release them. Nayoung seemed clueless, and without knowing anything, she asked me to enter the shop. My feet perhaps walked normally, and I looked just fine outside but my heart was pounding fast, and my mind was bouncing everywhere.

This shop was the last place I and Solji went for a date, and it was just two days ago. The reminiscence automatically repeated in my head which felt so twinged, and out of my expectation since I agreed to be out only to relinquish my gloomy feeling.

"Chanyeol-ah, what do you think about this hat? It's a new arrival!" Nayoung was totally immersed to offer me some hats. She smiled widely, and I got no choice beside to smile back to her, where in the fact, it was forceful smile.

I didn't want to hurt my best friend's feeling so I decided to enjoy the time although it was feeling not so pleasant to be here any longer. I looked at my right side and
