Third Person's POV

Another three-point shot that was perfectly goal in through Park Chanyoel’s hands, one of the best basketball players in Shinwha High School. After a little celebration, he was back to his place to help his team’s defense. His teammate, Oh Sehun came and gave him a high-five.

“As expected! Our Channie is doing well, huh?” He said while smirking and taking a run away from Chanyeol who was about to chase after him after being called “Channie”. Sehun is definitely younger than Chanyeol. But seemed like he didn't give a care about age difference between them, he always called Chanyeol by his name, or even worse he called him “Channie”.

Chanyoel surely hated being called with such as cute name that literally didn't suit him. But Sehun was his best friend though their was 2 years. Sehun was a fun friend, more than that, Sehun sometimes ould be mature and be a place where Chanyeol could pour out his story and share his sorrow with. Chanyeol and Sehun became friends straight away after Sehun joined the basketball team.

At that time, no one could control Sehun’s rebel attitude. Sehun just didn’t listen to anyone. Eventually, Chanyeol stepped ahead and personally teached Sehun since Chanyeol joined the club earlier and was, well still is, considered as one of the respected players. Sehun gradually changed to the whole new person. He finally could show his hidden skills which no one ever realized before. All thanks to Chanyeol whom helped him a lot, and that’s why Sehun will do anything for Chanyeol since he feels so thankful to him.

After a long, tiring match, Shinhwa high school team was taking home the winner title of today’s match by score 81-67. All of the team including the manager and the coach were gratefully celebrating their 3rd win for the summer competition and it also happened to make them going into the quarter final of the competition. Tears of relief and happiness were flooding over Shinhwa team along with supporters’ cheers that were bumming over the stadium.

“Good job, guys! Nice teamwork!” Suho as the team captain, gave a high-five to everyone.

“You’re the MVP for today’s match.” Suho came to Chanyeol who was busy to sweep on his dripping sweats. Chanyeol's eyes were wandering around, looking for something, not really paying attention to Suho's presence. He sighed knowing that he hoped for nothing.

"At this rate, we may just win this competition." Suho chuckled.

“Ah, you are too much. You played the best out of us.” Chanyeol denied humbly.

“Chanyeol, I think someone is searching for you.” Suho’s eyes caught something behind Chanyeol’s back. “I will go.” He patted on Chanyeol's shoulder, realizing that his teammate seemingly needed a private space.

Chanyeol turned his head and found someone who made his heart fluttered in a sudden. A small curve was formed on his lips.

Chanyeol’s POV

I didn’t expect she would come all the way here only to see me play basketball. It was not her usual self. She used to hate basketball. She always told me that she didn’t get basketball’s rules, and watching men chasing over a ball with sweats dripping enormously only wasted her time. But, she unbelievably came.

“Babe? You’re here?” I asked in confusion.

“Yes, as you can see. I am here.” she said while looking at my body blanky, she seemed doubtfully to come closer to me. I knew she might feel a little disgusted since my body was all covered by sweats. I didn’t smell good either. I just gulped my saliva hoping this awkward situation would pass.

“You didn’t say you would come.” I slide aside, a signal that asked her to sit beside me. She seemed to understand and in a second, took a seat beside me, but she then made a little distance between us. Well, I knew her too well that I didn’t feel insulted or angry anymore. I knew she just hated people with a lot of sweats.

“Well, your best friend asked me to come. She said it was an important match for you that my support may help you. But I don’t think you actually needed me.” she replied. I could feel annoyed tone in her sentence and when she mentioned the words best friend, she looked specially upset. She folded her arms. A sign that indicated she was not in her good state.

“Of course I needed you. I need you in every match I am in.” I tried to neutralize the situation though I didn’t know which part was the problem literally.

“What are you talking about? I didn’t even tell you I came, but you played so well.” she still looked annoyed. I didn’t get the point why she felt that way.

Though we had dated pretty long, but I never actually understood her feeling. It was too complicated, perhaps if I could say it was like a maze.  Literally. She was like in her own world, and I was just an outsider who never made it to enter it.

“Chanyeol-ah! You played really good! You’re just so talented!” a voice blurred out our conversation. I could see a very familiar personal coming to us.

It was Ha Nayoung my best friend for almost ten years now. We were at the same neighborhood ever since we were children. We used to play together in the nearby park and people might think I was her older brother whereas in the fact we were in the same age, and it continued until we got bigger. Who would expect we were attending the same high school. Nayoung was just all sweet from her attitude even her face to tell you the truth. I used to protect her from naughty kids in the neighborhood. I didn’t know since when, but she was considering me as her shield. I always tried to keep the harm things away from her. Her parents even treated me like their own child. I didn’t mind at all since I also always considered her as my own sister.

“You’re here too?” my eyes got bigger as her vision was getting vivid as she came closer to us.

“Sure I always come. I never miss your match.” she said proudly. She looked at Solji, my girlfriend. Her expression changed. She looked at Solji differently.

“Hm you’re here? Ah, I can’t believe you are finally here.” she said to Solji who was all quiet. Solji looked so annoyed.

To be very honest I had this feeling that they both were not in a really good term. Whenever they met, they seemed to hate each other’s presence. You can think how I felt. I was just like between two different choices. It was never an easy task to make them to sit together more than 10 minutes. Believe me, I had tried it for countless times, and it never worked. Never. The silence run for seconds. I didn’t know what to say due to the tense atmosphere at the moment.

“Okay, I think I should leave. You guys just have a reunion.” Solji was about to leave before I grabbed her hand.

“Why are you leaving? We haven’t talked a lot. Where are you going anyway?” I felt a bit disappointed. I wanted her longer here. I needed her here to be with me, to share my happiness after winning such as tiring match.

Solji rolled her eyes, she looks at me and Nayoung in turn. She tried to loosen my grip.

“Nope. I’d better go. It feels like I’m disturbing you guys’ quality time as best friends. Anyway I am having an appointment at some saloon around here, and I need to be there in ten minutes. So, you guys have fun.” she said while leaving us two behind.

I felt like my heart cracked so bad. Why couldn’t she be here any longer? It was the first time she came to my match. I wished we could have a date after this. But then I realized that she was my girlfriend. Definitely she was Im Solji who was always busy taking care of her ownself. She barely had time for me though I was her boyfriend. We’d been dating for almost 4 months now. I didn’t even know why I could hang on up until now.

Ha Nayoung’s POV

Just like that she was leaving both of us. I felt bad for Chanyoel. I knew his feeling was completely ruined. I knew how hurt he must be feeling. I could tell it by his face. I came closer to Chanyeol to at least pat his shoulders telling that everything was going to be okay. His girlfriend was really a . I didn’t like her even from the time Chanyeol introduced her to me. She was been known for her arrogant personality. She didn’t come from rich family though. All she had only her beautiful face and perfect body. I wondered why Chanyeol chose her. Why her out of all girls on the earth?

“What about we’re having ice cream date?” I suggested. I just hoped to see smile on Chanyeol’s face.

Chanyoel didn't answer me. One, two, three seconds passed. Chanyeol kept to his stance. He lowered his head. I didn't expect he would be this crestfallen because of that girl. Well, yeah I knew how much Chanyeol loved her.

"Yeol-ah, why is yo
