Kim Minseok / Mr Kim

A reserved and conscientious 26 year old who takes his occupation very seriously. With soft brown eyes and swept back hair he is unbeseemingly handsome, but his students know not to get on his bad side and treat him with respect. Has been a maths teacher at college for 2 years after graduating in architecture; initially taking up the job as work experience before realising it was rather enjoyable and hasn’t left since. He is still pursuing his dream however and takes great pleasure in drafting ideas in his apartment and gaining opinions from his colleagues.

Oh Sehun

A tall and lanky, but sharp looking boy who gets placed in Mr Kim’s mathematics class at the beginning of the new term. He is infamous amongst the student body for being one of the ‘populars’ with an arrogant air of entitlement surrounding him and his group of friends. This means he plays up in class and nurtures a very specific hatred for his new maths teacher who takes no nonsense from him.   

Do Kyungsoo

Minseok’s closest friend and colleague working in the same department. Shy and complacent, Kyungsoo is a man whom Minseok has harboured a crush on for a while but is too innocent to realise, instead offering Minseok tentative smiles, support and lots and lots of coffee.

Kim Junmyeon

Head of the maths department. Likes to think he has everyone doing what he wants and when he wants, but in reality is rushing everywhere trying to keep everything in order. He also likes to think that he’s intimidating but instead it’s his puppy eyes and kind smile that get him what he wants.  

Kim Jongdae

The joker amongst the teachers in the maths department with a catchy laugh and personality like a loose cannon. He is Minseok’s drinking partner after a long shift and someone who finds particular amusement in pranking the ever-serious Junmyeon.

Kim Jongin

Closest to Sehun as his accomplice in pissing everyone off; he’s wickedly hot and he knows it - with every boy and girl in the college hanging on his every (very arrogant) word. He has a softer side buried somewhere underneath the smirks and loud jokes that only Sehun knows exists.

Byun Baekhyun

You hear his laughter before you see him. Baekhyun is a prankster and playful pup that dotes on Minseok whilst Chanyeol watches enviously. Despite being surrounded by not-the-nicest of people, there isn't a single person can find themselves to hate him.

Park Chanyeol

A tall and glowering character with a swathe of wavy bangs that fall into his eyes - somewhat menacing. The type to bully other students for bringing in a Moomin plushie as a mascot and taking it from them… only to line it up on his bed at home and cuddle with it at night.
